Two Insanely Priced SBCs, Merry FUTMas

EA are clueless, nothing new. How do you all feel about the SBCs?

Surely Lukebakio has to go down in history as the worst SBC ever released right?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 10:12 AM PST

People talk about the OTW Gelson Martins from FIFA 19, the TOTGS Insigne from FIFA 18, the loan Movember Ricardo Rodriguez from FIFA 17, and others.

But surely, surely, this one takes the cake. This is without a doubt the funniest SBC I have ever seen.

Played against Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in champs last night, didn’t even realise until he scored and this popped up !!

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 04:07 AM PST

They have seriously messed up these futmas requirements.

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 10:07 AM PST

Christmas, the season of giving. How about give us a fucking break EA?

Yesterday we got 2 average cards, with pretty okay requirements. Sure, they were high, but they matched the rating of the card.

Today though, 3 84+ squads for an 84 striker. Yeah, he's decent, but there are better options.

And Malcuit, we've been waiting for this one, all you Serie A RB requesters finally get your wish. But fuck me, an 86 rated squad? Why? Yeah he's great, good league, good nation, good links, but why so high rated? It's more reasonable than Lukebakio, but it's still expensive.

I'm not saying I want anything for free, I don't. I just think this is the ideal promo to make some decent, affordable special cards. Not ask people to rinse their club for one player who could become obsolete in a month.

Celebrate FUTMAS with Squad Building Challenge requiring loyalty.

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 10:26 AM PST

This is the hardest SBC ever released this Fifa, released on the occasion of Christmas, holiday celebration, giving and gifts. Ridiculous company.

    Futmas Lukebakio Requirements

FUTMAS will continue to highlight how bad player SBCs have become

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 10:25 AM PST

Please don't try and defend EA with the POTM Vardy Spiel, the vast majority of player SBCs have been astronomically overpriced since FIFA 18. This whole promo has been a cash grab accompanied by a load of coin sinks, justified by the player SBCs being 'different' to the usual players. The TOTY nominees are utterly pointless and built for 4 year olds, and FUTMAS players are meant to be 'META potential' players from different teams at an AFFORDABLE price, but it's looking as if none of them will be. We've seen this before last year with TOTGS, Carniball etc, and we've just had more of the same this year. I have plenty of coins and a healthy club, but I genuinely feel sorry for the casual players or people who don't play religiously - even I'm priced out of these players simply out of principle. If you support Hertha, then great, if you're willing to pay over 100k for a totally overhyped (simply due to no substitute) RB then you do you.

Promos are becoming predominantly focussed towards people who are pumping several hours into Fifa a day, or willing to spend FP's. If you can't see this, not content with the game, and you're getting sucked in week after week, then wake up.

I'll go out on a limb and say there'll maybe be 2 good value SBCs of the 24 released this FUTMAS

Remember back when you could consistently beat less skilled players 8-0... How did Fifa manage to "fix" this problem?

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 02:22 PM PST

Clearly someone with a big brain accreditation in EA has decided that 15-min online gaming sessions should reflect real life football scores. Vast majority of online matches now end up with a maximum of 3 goal difference and a good number of draws too. This was unheard 10 years ago. Back then, a trashing meant a trashing.

So in your opinion, how was this "problem" addressed?

    Lukebakio sbc has NO logic

    Posted: 14 Dec 2019 05:32 PM PST

Why was witsel "86" from Dortmund was an 84 rated team with an inform.

Yet this card that looks like a fun card to use is 84 rated yet needs 2 84 teams and a 85 team. Honestly who ever makes the sbcs at EA needs to be fired coz that's just dumb.

I'm convinced they do stuff to piss us off on purpose.
