| Posted: 13 Aug 2021 01:44 PM PDT After having Henry as my best option from the 8 token SBC (fuck u EA), I stopped caring about using my resources wisely and did the Smalling SBC without any intel on if it's good or not and started champing. I'm sure others are less stupid and looking for info on this card, so here's a quick review. I played 3 games with him and he's def not dog shit and in fact seems like a solid CB. Spider legs and wins every challenge. Jockeys similar to Akanji, but is a better ball stopper. I'd rate him as a small(ing) upgrade over De Ligt and Chiellini. Also 90 stamina is pretty good for a cb. Worth it if you have fodder and want a better CB for Series A objectives. [link] [comments] |

| Is there (or will there be a) FIFA where you can play classic matches? Posted: 13 Aug 2021 06:57 PM PDT I remember it being discussed a while back but don't remember if it actually became a reality. Is there a FIFA version where you can play classic matches like World Cup Final of 1970, Champions League final of 1997 or classic teams like Argentina of 1980s...and so on? I remember back in 1998 they released World Cup 98 where you were able to play classic matches from old world cups but I don't remember any such thing from recent games unless I'm missing something. And as much as licensing goes, couldn't they simply "remaster" some of the older FIFA games like World Cup 1998 and World Cup 2002...etc as DLC content where they already got all those players licensed back then. If you search up CBs with 90+ in both acceleration and sprint speed, you'll see only two CBs - Militao and Walker. The latter is a natural RB. So there's only one true CB with 90+ in both pace stats. Does anyone know if there's a reason why EA refuses to release more CBs with high base pace stats? All of the attackers are now 99 paced, so I don't really understand why EA keeps releasing CBs with acceleration lower than 90 - Akanji, Smalling as the recent examples. Sprint speed is important, but in most of the cases the acceleration is the main let down when it comes to CBs because they lose to pacy attackers on the break. Also, I know you can easily apply shadow chemstyle and get stats over 90, but I still think that Militao or Walker could feel faster because of their base stats than other CBs with shadow chemstyle applied.
