My Personal Icon Swaps Etiquette Rules Posted: 16 Mar 2020 09:39 AM PDT If opponent asks I will always agree to golden goal rule (first to score wins). This has happened about 5 or 6 times so far while grinding out my first 9 tokens. Play until I'm down 2 then forfeit. While it's not impossible to make up three goals the likelihood is low and not worth the time. And if someone can go up by two I don't have a problem conceding defeat and moving on. If tied in the last ten minutes I'll make one more concerted effort to score and if it doesn't succeed I'll either let them score or OG it and give the win away. Draws are pointless so at least someone should get some benefit. These are my attempts to make the grind a little less soul crushing for everyone I match up with. For the record I started on the edge of div 5-6 and have finished 9 tokens and have only dropped one division as a result of the losses. Dont be like me Posted: 16 Mar 2020 10:56 AM PDT Im just a casual player, mostly doing just sbcs, so i got a bit excited when I saw I could get a prime icon pack for 9 Tokens. I didnt done the icon swaps before. 4 could be done in Squad Battles so I thought I just need 5 in Rivals. And Because Im casual, I didnt want to invest too much time so i did it ... i relegated myself. And damn bro's do I feel horrible. I just won to someone 6-0 and he didnt quit and then I realized ... fk, this dude Im playing against maybe just came back home from work like I did and is only able to play 1 or 2 games a day so just wants to fkn play this game and nothing more. He would have had so much more fun playing against someone actual from his division and stupid me ruined his game. Im skipping every replay but that doenst make it any better. I just wish he gets a big pull in some cheap sbc and I deserve Lehmann or something in my prime icon pack, nothing more. In conclusion, please dont relegate yourself, there are people put there with 50k team not cause its fun, but because they cant play much more to gain coins. Some of the clubs i've sold from that have significantly gone up in value: Galatasaray Everton Valencia Lazio Roma Atalanta Leipzig West Ham Benfica Man United Chelsea Crystal Palace I'm sure there's loads others as well...
