    Here is the deal am not used to whining and shits but I saw something outrageous. I ended Gold 1 and my picks were from 79 to 82 guys. All 5 of them. I got a friend, ended silver 1, 1 of 3. The guy gets Messi. Say all you want but this form of rewarding is unacceptable. And am sure many of us saw that today. You invest time and passion in this and you dont even get the best of the pool. Someone faring worse comes out better than you. Its about time EA reforms all this. Guarantee us an 85+ at least.

    I'm making my single player icon swaps objectives and I scored a goal on the first ten minutes and all they see for the rest of the game is some guy running down the wing, fake shot and fake cross once each half. If I was in a game like this I would ask for a refund

    Let me tell you about the most undervalued left back in the game. 85 Banguero.

    So out of all the players this FIFA, there is one beast player who I have yet to come across. It is one I use myself. 85 LB Banguero.

    For those of you who are unfamiliar with this guy, give me the honour to introduce him.

    To start off, not only does this guy have beast stats, we will get into that, he even looks like a beast in-game. This guy is a 6 feet 1 // 185cm tank with blonde dreadlocks. And his stats make it all even better.

    Too sloppy? He actually has decent agility (83) and composure (87).

    Physically? Like I said: tank. I am talking about 99 stamina and 97 strength.

    86 acceleration and 92 sprint speed might not be enough for some, but that minor issue dissolves with the right chem-style. With shadow his pace is 99 and his defensive stats are all 90+ except for marking (86).

    With his H/M workrates he bullies the likes of Adama off the ball. He showed me that his beautiful blonde dyed hair is superior to that of Adama (and Osimhen).

    And the best part? He's only 25K. So if you are on a budget, this is your guy.

    I know he is completely unlinkable, thus the price. HOWEVER. If you get CM 84 Nieto (who apart frlm his defensive stats is very all-rounded) you got yourself a nice perfect link. Or you could of course use Icons or Colombian players.

    So there you have it. The 85 Banguero appreciation post. The most worth-for-the-price left back in the game.

    Squad Battle difficulty isn't difficulty

    Increasing difficulty in other games is completely different than increasing difficulty in FIFA. If you're getting pasted by a boss you can go and get better gear or just get better at the game and eventually you'll beat that boss.

    If you're playing a low chemistry team in squad battles and you can't tackle or pass or score there is literally only one thing you can do.

    You can't get better players to beat the problem. My 99 passing midfielder still can't complete a pass. My 99 finishing striker still can't score in an open goal. You're not going to get better than those players. You'll do as well with a 5k striker as you'll do with a 500k striker. Your super speedy winger won't outpace their bronze fullback and if you do they'll just fall over when another player comes near them. You won't beat them on the break as their players run faster than Usain Bolt to get back in their two banks of 4. You won't beat them by playing a possession game as your final ball will always be to their player.

    You can't go off and get better at the game. If you can beat the AI on Professional you're good enough to beat them on World Class or Legendary. You know when to pass, when to tackle and when to shoot. The difference is the game doesn't let you pass, tackle or shoot correctly. The results of your action are the only things that change. On Professional your near post shot is a yes, on Legendary it's a no. Nothing to do with your skills or decision making.

    The only thing you can do to improve is to become more patient. 90% of your game is going to be frustration. It's going to be your players moving into the only position where you can't pass to them. It's going to be their defenders literally inside your attackers. It's going to be your defender tackling their player, their player falling over, getting back up and getting to the ball before your defender. It's going to be your players running alongside the ball not latching on until a defender runs the entire length of the pitch to get there first. It's going to be defenders intercepting passes through the back of your player. It's going to be your goalkeeper palming an easily caught ball to the only place where they can score. It's going to be getting constantly fouled and no free kick. It's even going to be your players moving in the opposite direction of your controller input.

    10% of your game is going to be where things work for you. 10% where you can play how you want, your players do what they're told and your shots don't hit the post. 10% where this game is actually a game.

    The only thing that changes with difficulty is the percentage of time you're in control and the percentage of time where things are impossible. Impossible, not just more difficult.

    I can't see the logic in it. It doesn't make me want to buy new players because I can't get better than 99 finishing and 99 tackling and those aren't good enough. It only makes me want to not play. I'm Elite 1 on PC every week I do SB but with the latest patch it's just frustrating to play 90% of the time so why even bother?
