    • Timing your crunching tackle to perfection, but seeing the ball just pop straight back to the opponent multiple times during an attack, inevitably leading to a goal...

    • Every opponent playing 4-2-3-1, drop-back 1 depth, counter attacking with Kent & Adama...

    • Opponent switches 'team press' on, and your players mysteriously lose the ability to pass 5 yards or run...

    • Opponent suddenly turns into Tekkz in the 45th and 90th minute...

    It's such a pain to draw rivals, so why not have the standard football point system? Say for an objective you need 5 rivals wins, change that to 15 points so at least a draw will give you a point and it won't be a total waste of time for everyone involved.

    My Weekend League standard routine

    • Start of with maybe a 5-1 record and thinking: "you're on fire this weekend, keep it up and we finally get gold 1"

    • Play some more games and get a 6-3 record. "Okay, with this 2:1 win ratio I still reach gold 1"

    • At 9-8, I give up gold 1. "Damn, ah well maybe next time. Now let's at least get gold 2!"

    • Lose like a bazillion games in a row, all to Ben Yedder.

    • Struggle to get gold 3, only getting it in game 29/30.

    • Friday 5 days later: "I'll fucking do it again"

    Anyone else share this routine?

    Just finished my best ever ranking in WL. I'm a division 6-7 player and usually finish silver 1 or 2. This weekend I switched up my formation and play style a bit and just hit gold 3! Super pumped for the extra player pick next week. Just wanted to share my excitement, I know gold 3 isn't much, but its sweet for me.     Seriously, at least 50% of my short passes are skipping the closest, free player and try to reach a marked one at 20 meters away. Wtf is wrong with passing? I can't believe that's all because of lag and server delay. I've thrown away so many games because of how many easy chances and counters I missed because of this. Unbelievable.

    With a storied history, the once league winning Rovers deserve the shot to finally reign atop the first division again.

    I recently began a Career mode with this lovely group of lads and let me tell you, there are some gems to play with in-game:

    Tyler Magloire- A young speedy centreback who boasts 86 pace at the beginning of your first season. He lacks any attack prowess but with regular defensive training you can see him turn into a exceptional Wynnesque wall with upwards of 95 pace and 75 defending and physical after your first two seasons.

    Ben Brereton- This young man will lift you out of the premiership with his 88 pace and natural goal scoring savy. In my first season managing the club he banged home 27 goals and led the rovers to a playoff victory. After training hard for two seasons Ben Seemed as though he was the faster reincarnation of 2017 Jamie Vardy with 98 pace 80 shooting and 80 dribbling.

    John Buckley- He has an aptitude for dribbling and can become a real presence on the field scoring in big moments. With regular training he can move up to 85+ pace and dribbling becoming a maestro in the midfield to provide for Brereton.

    Dan Lenihan- The perfect paring for Magloire Lenihan provides game saving blocks and tackles in clutch moments time and time again. His ability to calm the game down and make sound defending choices complements Tyler's freeflowing quick style of defending beside him.

    Ryan Nyambe- This Man is a stellar right back who has it all. His pace is exceptional and can grow to be over 90 making him one of the fastest players on the field. He also has exceptional stats everywhere else except shooting and with the proper training regimen he can grow to be a beast on the right flank.

    Lewis Travis- Last but certainly no least is Lewis Travis. Travis is the classic 6 who's presence is always felt yet not always seen. He has exceptional defending aptitudes and is not lacking in the dribbling or passing regards also. He will be a crucial mainstay in your midfield and will provide a sense of security in big moments.

    Please consider using this exceptional group of young lads. They have provided me with 3 great seasons thus far and along with the new additions of Kang in Lee, Lucas Paqueta, Fikayo Tomori, Dominik Szoboszlai and Maarten Vandevoordt hope to make a push for the treble next season.
