    First I'd like to start off by saying as a Mexican myself who plays fifa to have fun and out of love for the sport of soccer. I have always been one to skip celebrations and replays Aka L1 R1 or LB RB. I message people gg after a really intense game of rivals or weekend league as a form to spread positivity in the community. So I don't believe that any form of racism is okay whether if it's towards my people or any other race. People are generalizing that Spanish speaking people are toxic and what not based off badges and spoken language? I've come across so many people in the online world who send me hateful messages because of my race and that shits not cool at all. This community as a whole is toxic you can be any race, ethnicity, or even aged different but no matter what you will come across people who dab, shhh, watch replays or be the guy who performs those actions to each their own! Obviously we all are annoyed of it but it's not cool to throw it all at a race I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this but I just had to stand up for my people and any other person who has had to deal with racial issues in this game or any aspect of life stop generalizing actions towards race!

    (Unpopular opinion) I'm honestly kind of annoyed I packed an untradeable 99 kdb

    Not because he's bad. He's the best card I've ever played with and super fun to use. I would never say a bad word about my boy Kev. But I'm bad. I'm only a simple div 6, gold 3 WL player who got insanely lucky with his untradeable rivals rewards. But now, because I have a 99 kdb almost everyone I play now shushes/dabs/deadfishes, never skips replays, runs to midfield after goals, does the full sweaty 3 b2b 30 second pause runoffs after scoring in WL, I even get the "xp u must suck to lose with that team", "quit playing and giving ea money" bullshit after close losses. I started in December this year and have spent exactly $0 on the game, I even gameshare it from my brother so I've spent actual $0 on fifa 20. This community is so f***ing toxic sometimes it's not even fun. I don't get it.

    Is Squad Battles more boring than Rivals? Yes.

    But playing legendary SB and seeing my players actually make runs without LB/RB, being able to actually take small touches to turn, and actually doing first time fake shots and not punting the ball out? It's such a relief to see the game working as it should.

    The self-congratulatory posts about giving away wins need to stop

    Why do people feel the need to advertise how 'generous' they are being? It's hardly the most charitable thing to do, especially when many of the people posting have already reached their desired rank. I like a bit of wholesome FIFA just as much as anyone else but not when it's so contrived like this. Giving away wins is fine but not when you do it just to feel good about yourself by posting on Reddit.

    Edit: for those suggesting we just 'scroll past' posts about giving away wins, I am happy to do that if they are posting about having been given a win (to show someone else's kindness) but I think it's pathetic when people want to show everyone how kind they themselves are being (just to get a pat on the back)

    Another edit: based on voting and comments this is clearly a divisive issue. I suppose humility is not as much of a virtue as it used to be!

    I am 45 and only started fifa this year. Started in div 10 and now float between 6 and 7. Usually finish rivals g3 or occasional g2. So on the whole, not great.

    My nephew is 18 and has been playing religiously since he was 12. He is in div 2 and gets elite or gold 1 in champs.

    I decided last week, as I was feeling confident in my improved performance, to have a match against him.

    Oh my fucking god, how embarrassing. He smashed me all over the place. Not even sure I touched the ball more than 5 times.

    It really knocked my confidence and the rest of my weekend league was a disaster.

    Still confident that I can improve over the next couple of years though, maybe.
