    Its sad that this is what youtube reviews have become. Nobody plays an adequate amount of games and puts proper thought into their reviews anymore. It hasnt even been 2 hours and so many youtubers have already completed the SBC, "reviewed" it, edited the video and uploaded to Youtube. No wonder we see one reviewer give a card a 7 then the next one gives the same card a 10. Its just a rush to play 2 games and upload the "review" to get early views.

    Here I am. Sitting on my bed after yet another TOTY full of grinding/saved packs and objectives. No TOTY again for me. I have a headache and my eyes are kinda dry. I wasted 5 days opening and grinding upgrade packs. I could've studied or worked but I spent my time on this beautiful game. Two of my friends got Ramos. One got TOTW Neymar in a 75+ pack (I still can't get over that). I know I'm not alone but I thought this year would be different. It wasn't. This is EAs promo.

    Please, never ever give this company your money. If you love football like I do, get you a copy of the game but never buy Fifa points. Love you guys.

    Edit: I might be kinda addicted to this game but I swear I haven't used (nor will I ever use) any Fifa points except for one 10€ giftcard my mate gave me lol

    1. Edit: Thanks for all the comments guys. I was overdramatising. I'm 100% mentally stable I was just a bit disappointed. I'm working as a student so I have a flexible schedule and even though I spend too much time on this game I'm not neglecting my social life/family/girlfriend because of FIFA. No need to be concerned.

    Just sold Angel Correa for 8000 (XB1). According to Futbin he was selling for 3k less than an hour ago. Di Maria doubled in price (30-60k), Benzema also. This is just wild.

    I know most of us emptied our clubs as prices climbed during TOTY, but I'd recommend giving it a once over to see if you have any mid/high rated cards that you don't really need.

    with all this untradeable packs ... they need to do one of two things

    1. stop with that crap of being limited of recovering 5 quick selled players per month and make it without limit

    2. just letting us stock untradable players like they let us stock position changers, etc.

    They are always fucking players in QOL things and it's not getting better but the opposite. I had to give up one Lloris and Kane because I already spent my 5 recoverys and I wouldnt make flashbacks sbc that I don't feel worthy just because of not quickselling this cards

    I don't like playing online but I am starting to feel pressured to because of all the incentives to play online (objectives, coins, packs, etc). Anyone else who plays offline modes only? I personally enjoy the lack of pressure from playing the AI and playing with my favorite players without having to resort to "meta" players.

    TOTY Manuel Neuer (96) Review

    NOTE: TL;DR towards the Bottom of the post!

    After expunging vast amounts of innocent, poor stat afflicted rare golds into the Premium Bundesliga SBC, I was gifted with the critically acclaimed TOTY Manuel Neuer. The one TOTY card that I desired most as he would fit straight into my squad.

    Ecstatic at this development, especially with the GK position now sorted for the rest of the game. I have seen several posts recently, regarding the proficiency of TOTY Neuer. So I thought I'd do my best to help you make a decision if a potential purchase is on your mind!

    PLEASE NOTE: Neuer has seen use primarily in Division 2 and the World Beaters Friendly mode.

    I have several formations that I switch between throughout matches, I won't bore you with them all!

    Chemistry Style

    The most sensible option would be to stick with a Basic chemistry style due to it bolstering the main GK stats to 99. However, I decided to go with a CAT chemistry style. I came to this conclusion as I wanted to boost up Neuer's acceleration to improve his already stellar ability to get off the mark, close angles down and generally excel at the Sweeper Keeper role.

    Diving - 9/10

    Neuer's diving ability has been absolutely stellar, he has made some quality stops on some great long range shots that I'm used to being a certain goal. The usual far post finesse efforts we all give away now and again. He's more comfortable against them when compared to popular GK cards such as his NIF version, Pope, Oblak and Alisson. That's NOT to say that these cards aren't capable of saving shots such as this. But TOTY Neuer felt more consistent in comparison.

    Handling - 8/10

    This completely surprised me, I'm used to goalkeepers parrying the ball to an attacker in the middle of the box. Whilst TOTY Neuer occasionally does this as well, I found him to parry the ball away into better situations for my defenders to recover the ball or at least be in a more favourable position to deal with the rebound. Often times parrying the ball out toward the corner flag, but not out for a corner. I didn't find him catching the ball any more than other keepers however.

    Kicking - 10/10

    Fantastic, the 98 kicking really shone when it came to initiating fast counters or getting the ball to the head of one of my players. The range of TOTY Neuer's distribution is quite absurd. Previously, Ederson had the best distribution of other keepers that I had used so far. Lengthy throws and kicks, whether they be the driven versions or not. I found myself thoroughly impressed with this aspect of the card. The 4* Weak Foot is also a fantastic tool to have on a GK. Allowing you more freedom should you need to pass back and distribute the ball to a teammate quickly.

    Reflexes - 7/10

    This is where some questions began to be raised regarding TOTY Neuer's consistency. I found him conceding a few questionable goals from tight angles that you would expect a keeper of his calibre to at least get a hand to if I didn't channel my inner 'Manual Neuer' and move him myself so the ball was shot at him and even then he'd sometimes flap at the ball.

    Yet there were often moments where he made some incredible reaction saves at close range when he didn't do his kneel animation. Albeit the kneel animation has produced some great saves. But it's caused more goals than prevented them thus far.

    However, more and more players are getting players with tip top finishing stats (Both with and without chem styles) which makes the AI keepers job just that much more difficult, irrespective of who you have between the sticks. You can't expect a keeper to save every close range effort made at them, even if they are a TOTY card.

    Speed - 10/10

    Unbelievably quick off the line and it has saved me a substantial amount of times. The only keeper near TOTY Neuer when it comes to the speed stat is Ederson at this moment in time. However, in my opinion, Neuer feels a LOT quicker than Ederson. This has made me confident with giving Neuer the Sweeper Keeper instruction (I suppose it's a crime to not do that anyway..)

    Also, his speed allows him to be an imposing presence on corners, Neuer is able to charge out and get to crosses that he has no business getting to. Limiting the opponent to short corners or headed chances from a more manageable distance.

    Neuer has stopped many attacks by utilising his speed to strip the ball from an attacker who has knocked the ball forward to break away from my defenders. It has also been useful to force a poor shot choice from an opponent, or even force an early ball roll which allows my defenders to catch the attacker.

    Positioning - 10/10

    Sensational AI positioning on the card, often finding Neuer moving into great positions to gather a loose ball or save a long range shot without requiring input from myself. I never seem to find TOTY Neuer to be in a bad position. He seems to be in the right place all of the time which was pleasantly surprising. Even managing to save a couple of attempted 'sweaty' goals that I thought were hitting the back of the net for sure.

    Is he worth the money?

    In general? No, not at all. There are other keepers that will do a fantastic job for a fraction of the price in my opinion. We all know it, this card is more of a luxury purchase for those who are very happy with their teams or need a very specific link. Or if you're a Bayern/Neuer fan.

    TL;DR

    Pro's

    • Strong links to great cards such as RTTF Klostermann, RTTF Alaba
    • Perfect link to PM Boateng allowing you to potentially be a bit more creative with your other defenders links-wise
    • Will be viable until the end of the game
    • Incredible Speed and Distribution
    • Fantastic positioning to aid against long shots
    • 4* Weak Foot

    Con's

    • Special Animations can occasionally cause goals (Such as the kneel animation)
    • Lacks the Saves with Feet trait that a lot of people value
    • Can sometimes let in shots from questionable angles across goal
    • Somewhat inconsistent reflexes against close range shots

    Overall

    Despite the occasional blip that all goalkeepers fall victim to, he is the best goalkeeper I've used so far in FIFA 21, absolutely my end game goalkeeper. He has brought much needed stability to the team, more than any of the popular goalkeeper cards such as Oblak, Alisson, Ter Stegen and Pope that I have used.

    Like the Osihmen and Danny James ones last year? They were one of the most fun ive had grinding fifa, and it led me to create a ligue1 hybrid that never would have been otherwise. Id love to see some smaller league (but good nation) future stars objective players.

    I feel like separating the stats from players in squad battles to weekend league would be helpful. For example I occasionally play squad battles for objectives sake and a lot of my players will be statpadded and their stats wouldn't represent how well they are in game
