| “The SBC is more expensive than buying the icon on the market” Posted: 15 Apr 2021 01:44 PM PDT Yes, because they have all fallen to the sbc's price within 48 hours of it being released. I don't like applauding this company but there isn't much that they can do here. The cheaper it goes the worse value it is by bringing down the player's price. Use untradeables or don't do them(haven't done a single icon sbc this year). If anybody has alternatives to avoid this feel free to shout because I don't have anybody. It's also a great way to EA to take people's coins by crashing any moments card whenever they want... [link] [comments] |

| As of right now it is cheaper to buy PIM Drogba off the market than it is to do his SBC Posted: 15 Apr 2021 09:55 AM PDT Obviously with the SBCs you can submit your own untradeable cards but there was also a pay off for people buying cards off the market to do the SBC for a cheaper price at the cost of not being able to resell and helping get cards off the market for the economy. They released his SBC with the price being so tight to his current market value that it is slowly now almost 200k cheaper to just buy him. [link] [comments] |

As you can see, for the most part, EA has been consistent with the order of the releases with EFL and Community going first, Premier League going 2nd (a week after initial release) with Ligue 1 being among the last and a month after the initial release (you can keep enjoying your Mbappes and Neymars for longer). | Can we please stop with the lottery content or at least add more guaranteed content? Posted: 15 Apr 2021 02:15 AM PDT Lottery packs this year have dominated the SBC section. Icon upgrades. Party bags every promo week. etc etc. FUT is becoming extremely lottery based. ICONS are becoming heavily lottery based. One of the biggest selling points for FIFA is Icon content and they drip feed it. Nobody is going to be playing come July/August but yet there's not been a steady/consistent stream of icons. We went from getting guaranteed packs from each promo to getting party bags. We went from getting the biggest packs for massive SBCs (87/88s) to getting 35k untradable packs for the same. League SBCs were changed from a guaranteed player to a guaranteed pack (granted we have players in objectives but having one player in the end to compensate for the huge cost felt less luck based and more calculation based). This lottery for everything has to stop, or at least stay in addition to other guaranteed content. It is just getting piss poor now. [link] [comments] |

| What did the Liga NOS do to piss off EA? Posted: 15 Apr 2021 11:54 AM PDT To this day, the addition of special cards, generally non-performance ones, from Liga NOS is basically a joke. I count to 6 cards whilst the Eredivisie has 15 and counting. Liga NOS is ranked as nr6 and Eredivisie as nr7 right now based on Country coefficients. I know this prolly don't mean a thing to EA and I guess that Eredivisie get these many cards just cause theres a huge player base there? I've been waiting and waiting for Liga Nos squad foundation cards or other sbc's and/or objectives all year, I did the RM version of Future Stars Pedro Gonçalves but haven't been able to use him one bit as link options has been next to none and now he's irrelevant. Ah well, I might miss something very obvious here why Liga Nos won't get more special cards then they do, but it has been bugging me for a while. Cheers! [link] [comments] |

| Do you feel FIFA is unrewarding, looking only at the gameplay? Posted: 15 Apr 2021 11:34 AM PDT Often when I play FIFA the feeling I end up is so empty. There is no pleasure or adventure anymore. I feel like the gameplay is made for the numb and mindless. Decided to only play 2v2 from now on. Just for the social side of gaming. But 1v1 is so toxic these days. The whole sit back and counter meta is not made for me. It's only 12 minutes. Why should I spend 6 minutes or more watching how another player passes the ball around? What do you think? Is there really anyone enjoying this game? Like pure joy? The joy you get even if you don't have to make content or don't have a job as a pro. Just simple and pure joy because of the pleasure and excitement of gameplay. [link] [comments] |
