    First, let me say that this FIFA is extremely buggy and EA are spitting in our face trying to milk this loot box cash cow for as long as they can before the party is over. They deserve all the criticism coming their way for genuinely releasing an unfinished product.

    Now that I've stated that, I believe EA have genuinely done an almost great job with Icon Swaps (apart from releasing it delayed smh). The only bad part about this release is the fact that only 12 are available, and we have to wait for EA on the next 12.

    But, I find it extremely satisfactory that I can play (at the very minimum/best case scenario) 50 games, and be able to get a base icon Crespo, Kluivert, Nesta, or Roberto Carlos. These baby icons are all extremely valuable to use at this early stage of the game, from now until TOTY.

    Anybody can get any one of these icons within easily a week if they truly grind and just PLAY the game. This is what the community has been begging for, to be rewarded for playing, and now we're complaining? Because the objectives are somewhat difficult in terms of the First Owner objectives, which is not that difficult if you play Rivals and FUT Champs, and do Advanced SBCs and Marquee Matchups.

    At worst, by December, I'll have 85 6"0 44 88 Composure 89 Heading and 90 Finishing Crespo as my striker, and 88 Nesta as my centerback with a shadow. As someone who never had more than one icon in my team due to work, school, and sports, this promo is absolutely amazing for a half casual/half sweat like me. It's absolutely insane that there is this many complaints about this promo, and we have to give EA credit where credit is due. The only legitimately valid complaint is the fact that we can't achieve all 24 right now. Apart from that, thank you for this promo EA. now fix your shit fucking servers for this game, release more decently valued SBCs (flashbacks, etc.), tackling, and this game will be the best FIFA since 15/16.

    Why haven't they implemented the new box rule to guarantee save buildup in your own half and erase unecessary goals with it?

    Just lost a game 4-3 in extra time because I immediately passed the ball to my player, but the opponent was quick enough to go before him, score and wins the match in the lamest way possible. Why would you potentially force me to shoot the ball into orbit instead of giving me a safe way to start my possession in my half? In the 120th minute, I don't wanna risk getting a counter like that but you basically have to shoot the ball into the opposite field unless you wanna risk receiving what I received. When I saw that new rule in rl, I was sure they would add it to guarantee save playing from the own half for all players, instead, bs goals like this can still happen and are the lamest thing in FIFA and is basically gifting the opponent goals.
