PLAYER SWITCHING NEEDS FIXING! Posted: 17 Oct 2019 06:42 AM PDT Lost count of how many goals I've conceded through this but especially last night after the update. [link] [comments] |
My Brother Just Scored This.... Posted: 17 Oct 2019 08:53 AM PDT |
Posted: 17 Oct 2019 12:33 PM PDT What's the point of the preview this year, I don't want to just see the links, I'm trying to build a specific squad for the requirements. Why remove it? [link] [comments] |
If you're gonna relegate yourself by quitting matches, atleast score an own goal Posted: 17 Oct 2019 11:24 AM PDT Everyone is doing objectives, if you don't want to do them in your own division than atleast score an own goal before quitting so you don't completely waste my time. [link] [comments] |
What is this sh*t with the goal kick view changing. Posted: 17 Oct 2019 03:59 PM PDT It switches after a couple of seconds so I've ended up aiming the wrong way and passing to an opposition player. Infuriating. [link] [comments] |
A Trading Method that makes me profit 100k day Posted: 17 Oct 2019 01:39 PM PDT Hi guys, I make this post to share a trading method that me quickly make profit 100 ~ 120k for a 3 hours of trading. I trade in webapp while I'm working, so if you have nothing to do all day long, you can easily pass the 200, 300k day. How much I need to have to invest: Around 20k Explanation: So, this method consists in snipe these players with shadow card already applied at minimium buy now at the moment, and then instantly sell by 3,5 4k high than price you just payed. This works for me for more than 15 days, and still working. Remember: the card cannot can cost more than 20k, 25k, because the intervals of price range can dissipated the value of shadow card. Use POPULAR defensive cards (that cards you see in 8 at 10 teams) from big leagues. Any questions, feel free to tell me. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Oct 2019 03:16 AM PDT Ok lads, I know most people won't benefit from this because Giggs is at the bottom of the iconswap shopping list but I decided to go for him and this is how I feel. This review is based off 10 games in D3.
Pace
Shot
Pass
Dribbling
Defence
Physical
Other Notes
TLDR - If you want to go against the meta and have some fun but you can also see past 2* WF and aren't fussed about 3* skills then I highly recommend Giggs. He's been incredibly fun and versatile for me and has been a class above Sane who I replaced him with. I'm very happy that I picked him and cannot wait time partner him with Keane. Any questions please ask! Sorry if formatting is fucked I did this on mobile [link] [comments] |
They still haven't fixed the consumable issue Posted: 17 Oct 2019 08:40 PM PDT It's only been over a year and they cant fucking fix the issue where you have to back out and come back in to apply fucking consumables [link] [comments] |
Several (cheap) icon reviews part 2 Posted: 17 Oct 2019 01:10 PM PDT Before you judge me realize I'm old enough to have prostate problems, and I would happily trade in my money for your youth. Now we got that out of the way here it goes. Rui costa 88: I added him with a late edit on my previous post, so this one is just in case you missed it. He's very strong on the ball, as expected with that strength dribbling combo, passing is pretty much flawless. Positioning is better than nakata since he doesn't hang back that much with his low defending workrate and I don't see that much difference with a high/medium workrate either (read: he makes good runs from the cam position to the goal when needed) if you want a cheap rui costa, this years benzema is an option, his passing stats are pretty good especially if you put engine on him, and he has that same strength dribbling combo to be strong on the ball. Vieri 86: Unlike the 88 version, this vieri has a harder time keeping the ball as a hold up striker, with his lower reactions and lower strength. He's faster tho, so on the turnover he can be better (especially also with his high attacking workrates) but he's not immune to pushing from the side like the 88 is. Finishing is not too bad, and he's still stronger than most strikers, especially with that pace but don't expect this to be the cheap 88 version. He's more effective for quick plays, not for holding the ball, he's also better for high pressure play since he's faster and has high attacking workrates. The notorious Nedved 89: Best long shots I had up until now , nedved is truly a distance shooter. Quite fast as well and in the box good finishing. Is actually an amazing striker, but it's kind of waste since he's also an amazing passer. Only downer is his first touch, it's not that perfect as expected with 84 reactions, and he feels a bit clunky with his 84 agility as well but this is mostly noticable because the rest of his dribbling attributes are a lot better. Ian rush 87: this is an interesting card, since he is, stat wise, similar to shevhenko 88. First thing I noticed he was a worse dribbler than shev, and that made it more difficult for me to create a chance for shooting. But he's a bit a faster and still good in keeping the ball tho. Still, at first I though this wasn't a very good buy, but then I started noticing that with every loose ball Ian rush was there to shoot it in. Ian rush is a great poacher, if you can't play fifa, buy this guy. Crespo 87: As expected quite agile for such a big guy, and that's how you get that typical crespo gameplay, it's still there, keeps the ball closer to the foot than I thought (since this is mostly a problem with crespo), the passing ain't too bad either, sure it ain't great, but it's better in this one than in most other fifa's (apart from 14 of course there he was op) Finishing and heading is great, this is a nice card. I did some analysis and created Indices for three categories of players in Fifa 20. Details inside Posted: 17 Oct 2019 06:04 PM PDT Hi All, TLDR, i created a Messi Index, a Kante Index, and a Van Dijk index in this spreadsheet --> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BBl8NmQJ-P-LlHae7QCsfL_H8qXlLoXDGSOm-vnR-54/edit?usp=sharing Before i dive into what i did, please note that this analysis was based on how i like to play the game. I enjoy holding possession, taking on my opponents on the dribble, and trying to open them up through clever passing and dribbles. That being said, i think this analysis can be useful info for everyone. Details on my methods: I scrapped necessary data from Futbin, for all gold cards +specials, removing icons, and including prices as of 6pm EST on October 17th. Then, i created separate tabs in three general categories: 1) Forwards, Wingers, and CAMs 2) Defensive and Box2Box mids, and 3) Defenders. In a patch that EA announced a few weeks ago, they made changes to the feel of dribbling in game for players who have 80+ in each of the in game stats of agility, balance, and dribbling; on a average sliding scale up to 99. From this, i created my first Index that i called the Dribbling Index. This is quite simply the average of agility, balance, and dribbling. For my second index, i sorted all players in the game by height. I then crafted an index called the Height Index which i assigned to each player a number between 1 and 99 based upon their height. The tallest player received a 99 in the Height Index. The shortest player received a 1. Then, i crafted what i am calling indices for each of the three archetypes based on what i think are the best at their positions in this year's installment of Fifa. These three indices are based on Messi as the best attacker, Kante as the best holding mid, and van dijk as the best defender. For the Messi index, i assumed Hunter would be used on all attackers for the sake of simplicity and fairness (i was not about to go and determine the most advantageous chemistry style for over 2000 cards). The Messi index is comprised of the unweighted average of Pace, Positioning, Short Passing, Vision, Finishing, Composure, and the Dribbling Index. Unsurprisingly, the player with the highest Messi index is Messi at 96. The second place recipient is a 2 way tie at 92 with Neymar and Hazard, and third place a two way tie between CR7 and Mo Salah at 91. Mbappe falls in at an 8 way tie for 5th with an 89, tied with players like Reus, POTM Vela, LW Mane, Regular KDB, and Mertens. For the Kante Index, i assumed Shadow would be used on all midfielders for the sake of simplicity and fairness. The Kante index is comprised of Pace, Aggression, Interceptions, Marking, Reactions, Short Passing, Standing Tackle, Strength, Vision, and the Dribbling Index. The player with the highest Kante index is Kante at 89, but he is not alone in first place. He is tied with Allan and FB Lukasz Piszczek. EOE Schweinsteigher is in second at 88 and IF Acuna rounds out 3rd place at 87. Vidal and Fernandinho are tied for 4th at 86 followed by a 14 way tie for 5th at 85. It was surprising to me that Kante is not alone at the top of his own index, but then i recalled getting absolutely dicked in WL by a man running kante and allan as his CDM pairing. So the results replicate my experience. For the Van Dijk Index, i assumed Shadow would be used on all defenders for the sake of simplicity and fairness. The Van Dijk Index is comprised of Pace, Height Index, Aggression, Interceptions, Marking, Reactions, Slide Tackle, Standing Tackle, and Strength. The player with the highest Van Dijk index is Virgil Van Dijk alone in 1st place at 94. A close second is Koulibaly at 91, tied with FB Lukasz Piszczek, Sule, Manolas, and Varane. Third place is a 3 way tie at 90 among Chiellini, Tah and Pique. Finally, each tab has a column that identifies the cost of the index. That is, simply the price divided by the Messi/Kante/Dijk index. Interestingly, Neymar is a 92 and Hazard is also a 92 on the Messi Index. Neymar costs nearly 11k per index point whereas Hazard costs only 5.7k per index point. Also interestingly, Kante and Allan are both 89s on the Kante index but Kante costs 5k per index point whereas Allan costs only 706 per index point. Finally, Van Dijk is a 94 and Koulibaly is a 91 but Van dijk costs nearly 7.4k per index point whereas koulibaly costs a measly 525 coins per index point. Food for thought... EDIT: this doesn't account for things like custom animations, premier league bias, cover star boost, and things like that. [link] [comments] |

Unpopular opinion: the biggest issue with this game is the majority of the community Posted: 17 Oct 2019 12:37 PM PDT Feel free to downvote, I'm expecting it, and honestly not bothered about karma. Also before I say this, I totally understand there are dads of three out there who get half an hour a week to game, which is completely okay. This is aimed at people who have been playing FIFA daily for years. 95% of those I just mentioned are playing on settings akin to a call of duty aimbot. A mario game that auto jumps when you approach a gap. Or someone entering a cycling event at the Olympics with stabilisers. I don't want to sound elitist, but how is assisted still fun for you? You are playing pure RNG and then moaning that passes aren't going exactly where you think you've placed them. Can I ask what exactly you expect from assisted? All I see on this sub is people hating on the game until their 500th pack gives them the player they wanted, then there's a love in for 5 minutes until you hate the game again. As you play it now, FIFA is by FAR the easiest game on the shelves every year. For my first few months of FIFA, I hated the idea of manual. I played a few games on it against people who'd locked the settings to just that (back when that was a feature), and one day I actually messaged a guy at the end asking why he'd done that. The reply he gave me was the most important message I've ever received on a console. It was a much longer version of "git gud". And you know what, there is NO stigma around saying that about any other game. Especially when playing in higher ranked modes. Let's ask ourselves why FIFA is the exception, and why you're consistently playing the game on settings that have such a low ceiling, and spending every day moaning about how bad the game is. It clearly isn't fun for you guys, so why not make a change? I got absolutely put down by that guy back on FIFA 10, and as annoyed as I was at the time, I realised that I'd been playing a ridiculously easy game, and wanted to feel like every goal and even every pass was actually rewarding. Full manual settings is exactly that. Pass stats effect how much the ball "slices" off the players foot, which only makes for a bigger challenge, identifying which player is on the ball and who has the ability to do certain things. Your controller input is what's shown on the screen, which simply isn't the case on assisted. Like I said earlier, I'm expecting downvotes and nasty comments, and sure, bring it on. But whether you guys believe it or not, I'm giving you a way to, with just a couple weeks practice, enjoy the game 50x more than you do now. Full manual settings, and combine it with the broadcast camera (not Tele broadcast). Every pass and shot you make, successful or not, will feel real, and when it's successful, the slightest thing will feel rewarding. Losing to people still on the baby settings? Who cares, you're a thousand times better than them if you can even complete one five yard pass a game. I've been playing full manual since FIFA 10. I have a tradition where I play five assisted games at the start of each year to check that it's still just as pathetic (which it is) then I switch back. I play most days and I am still nowhere near my ceiling. That's if there even is one. There is such a brilliant learning curve on manual that is easy to learn, but takes years to master. The only elitist thing I'll say here is this: if you've been playing FIFA since FIFA 15 or prior to that, are consistently in divs 1-3, and are still playing assisted.. then I'm sorry, but you are the biggest problem with FIFA right now and you should be ashamed of yourself. TL;DR this game will NEVER be "fixed", "eSports ready", or remotely taken seriously in a competitive world, until at least divs 1-3 are locked to manual, the same way as it is in any other competitive game. Aimbot settings years down your FIFA path are not the one, and require zero skill. For the last time, bring on the downvotes, but I'm trying to help. I used to hate manual, but can't tell you how red in the face I go now whenever I think about the fact that I played assisted for longer than a few weeks. [link] [comments] |
