    Pace test part 2 - Height & stamina

    After the first part there was a huge request for a new pace test, so here we are. I've tested a bit less for this post as it takes hours and hours to test all of this.

    So for today i've tested:- is it worth aplying a hunter on a very high paced player for when his stamina is drained?- Does height have an impact on pace?

    1. Is it worth applying a hunter for stamina reasons?

    The theory some people had was when stamina gets drained the hunter boost more than a hawk, as the pace boost from the chemstyle is bigger. Even on a player with maxed out pace.

    so once again we did a run from the edge of the box to the halfway line. This time though i would have ran around an entire half with FB walcott, leaving him with just under half a bar of stamina when i started the runs.

    I did this once with a catalyst, a hawk and a powerhouse. 5 runs with each chem style.

    The numbers are pretty clear IMO. Once a player is capped at 99, there is no changing this. So even with a drained stamina bar the catalyst boost doesn't out do the hawk boost. So from all testing done so far we can savely say that boosting a player ''over'' 99 is useless.

    1. Does height have an impact on pace?

    The theory here is that a smaller player with the same stats as a tall player should still be faster.

    So I created 2 custom players who had the exact same stats, body type, weight, etc., the only difference was their height. One was 6'6 (198CM) and the other one 5'6 (167CM)Again with both of them I did a run from the edge of the box to the halfway line.

    Turns out they are pretty much as fast as each other. On average the taller player was actually 0.03 seconds faster. I would say this is more down to human error and how the game sometimes gives you a faster or a slower animation when starting a sprint from a stand still position (This difference seems very very small, but is definetly there)

    All in all from this test is looks like so far only the actuall stats matter when it comes to pace.

    So that is all for this test. I will still test on ball with different dribbling stats, weight, body types and running animations. If there is anything else you want tested let me know.

    There was also a lot of demand for a video, but I don't think i'm allowed to post my YT

    TLDR: Boosting a player over 99 pace with a chemstyle when stamina is drained is not a thing. Height has no impact on pace.

    I did this a few times, but now i won't be able to play for the next 4 months, so i wanna share with you all icons i have tried so far and how they felt for me. First of all, i like to test out meta and non meta icons, and especially the cheaper ones! With each Icon, i play at least 10 games before i have a honest opinion about him. So lets start:

    • Base Okocha (85) - was really fun to play with, his finishing stat is a lie! He finished almost everything inside the box. (8/10)

    • Prime Okocha (90) - had even more fun with his prime than with his baby version. So smoth on the ball, and such a good finishing. For me he was worth the 850k (9/10)

    • Middle Overmars (88) - VERY fast and good dribbling. Some shots are inconsistent, but i was very happy with him, maybe gonna pick his prime up, when im back (8/10)

    • Prime Deco (90) - Bad shooting, and felt so weak and clunky. Played him as a cam. I don't liked him at all. (3/10)

    • Middle George Best (90) - this man is a BEAST. Right Wing, Left Wing, Striker, CAM. He can play everywhere and he do not dissapoint me. Strong finishing and he is very smooth. (10/10)

    • Base Garrincha (90) - bought him before i bought best, and he was very good, but also inconsistent. He had his games where he gets a hattrick and some games, where i don't recognize him at all. Dribbling and and shooting are very good. But i like george best more (8.5/10)

    • Base Hagi (85) - underrated (?) icon, very good cam and plays way better than his face stats. Good shooting and he was always in position for me (9/10)

    • Base del piero (87) - inconsistent like garrincha. But also had some very good games. I liked his shooting the most. I sold him after 15 games, because i got very bored of him. I don't know why (7/10)

    • Base Hugo Sanchez (87) - all i can say is, this composure is a lie. Played like 14 Games with him, and NEVER had a single problem with his composure. He is very clinicl and way better than 85 dribbling imo. Only thing that sucks was his 72 stamina. Man was down af in the 70 minute. (8.5/10)

    • Base Crespo (85) - Played 10 Games, and sold him right after that. Played him next to sanchez, and i didn't like that crespo that much. 2 Goals in 10 games, and he hit the post so often it was annoying. I would say, dribbling was the best stat on his card. (6/10)

    • Middle Pirlo (90) - I loved him in draft, but something wasn't right when i bought him for my team. Anyways, his passing is phenomenal. Sooo good. He has one, if not, the best passing i tried this year. Pace and his dribbling was a little bit let down to be honest, but maybe it's just me (7.5/10)

    • Middle Butrageno (90) - Still in my team. So far, i love him. He is very fast and he finish almost everything inside the box. Middle/low workrates sucks sometimes, but that doesn't change my overall opinion on him. (9.5/10)

    • Base Gattuso (85) - damn, what a good cdm he actually is. Probably a underrated icon for sure. If you searching for a icon cdm and are ready to try out some "cheaper" one, go with baby gattuso. So good at intercepting and always in position. (9/10)

    • Middle Baggio (91) - so many people told me to try out mid baggio, so i did. I don't know man. Doesn't fit my playstyle. He was clunky and heavy, finishing doesn't felt like 85. Maybe because of his 73 shot power. He also got pushed way to often off the ball. Personally, i wouldn't recommend him (5/10)

    • Prime Larsson (90) - Surprisingly very good! Finishing and his finess shot are very consistent. Only thing that sucked for me was his agillity (89) and balance (82). Some games he felt way to slow when moving. Could also be the servers tho.

    We had this thing where u could see every opponent you have played against and track all scores, but the last time the feature was active it was FIFA 16, I would be humble if we could be able to access our match history with the same post match screen and player post- match ratings you get after every match you play.

    Last WL game. Win required for first time ever gold 1. Leading 2-0 at half time, suddenly start getting immense lag, get a message of losing connection to EA servers while my internet is working the whole time. Log back in and i have a loss. Contacted EA help, they say they cant even check because its all automated servers. Honestly i cant even feel angry thats how sad i am right now. Its just unfair. Put in so much time and effort and get this kind of shit in the end. Week in week out.

    Seriously I know it's like beating a dead horse but how can this game be so terrible, inconsistent and basically developed as a high school project. It's just a random roll of the dice what your players are gonna do at any time. I just lost a game where my goalkeeper kicked the ball after catching it up without me pressing a button after 2 seconds right into the opposition player... like cmon what kind of retardation is that the keeper doesn't wait it's 6-10 seconds with the ball without player input. And that's just the icing of the cake, the movement, the tackles etc. it's all just so inconsistent and you can't replicate the same thing twice even if you tried. Fuck EA and fuck FIFA
