    How a game of CS:GO would play out, if it was made by the people in charge of FIFA.

    You enter a match of competitive CS:GO. You immediately realize that your ping is 147, and by checking profiles, also realize that out of the 9 other players on the server, only two are on your continent. At no point did you have a chance to adjust your matchmaking preferences. However, before entering the match, the game did show that your connection was a perfect A+.

    Once you begin the warmup, you notice that all your actions only happen on the second press. However, your movement responds to your controls just fine, but varies from approximately 65% speed to approximately 143%.

    Then everyone has loaded onto the server, but two players on the enemy team want to watch all the pregame information. About the same map they've played at least five hundred hours of.

    Warmup ends, and you buy what you need. However, the game decides that you actually wanted to buy 7 decoys and another P2000. As soon as the round begins, your teammate pauses the game, and you have no idea why. After 30 seconds, the game resumes, and you make your way to bombsite B, along with a teammate. Moments later, you notice enemies and the bomb at A, and start to rotate. However, you cannot move for 13 seconds, since your leg is temporarily broken.

    As you finally arrive at the site, having fixed your leg and fought the delayed controls, you manage to get a headshot. But, unlike the previous match where a headshot did 110 damage, this time it only does 86. This does not apply to your enemy, who kills you, winning the round for their team. You and your teammates then get to enjoy highlights from that round, in which you utterly humiliate yourselves, but not before you witness the opposing teams 2 minute performance of Gangnam Style to celebrate.

    This continues until the game is at 14-14. Miraculously, and obviously without any sort of assistance from the game, you have pulled it back from 0-14 to 14-14. All but one of the enemy teams players have quit, leaving just the one guy (who by the way lives 14500km away from your city) and 4 bots. It's down to a 5vs1, and you are just about to secure the lead for the first time, when the last guy quits.

    You are taken back to the menu, and a pop-up tells you that since you were not winning, the game has been declared a tie.

    The error has been made, and corrected, before. Hopefully EA recognize their error and make good by updating Westin Mckennie’s IGS to match their advertised tweet. It clearly can be done, the question is— will it?

    I am by no means a good fifa player. I purely play the game to try out different players, do SBC's and (try to) have some fun. But the one thing which really really ruins my enjoyment of the game is when a new set of icon swaps players which are available only through rivals comes out. I will go from playing against players of pretty much my skill level in div 6 to playing against some insane player who has just purposefully dipped to my division from like div 2 just so they can get some shitty icon which won't be in their team come fucking April.

    I literally cannot win games at the moment and I don't know what to do
