    Electronic Arts: you've had many truly fruitful years with Ultimate Team in its assorted guises, but especially so with FIFA.

    As a FUT Founder, I'm not alone in having thrown quite a bit of money your way over the years in the hope of winning mere bytes of data that might transform my teams from pub squads to something that an absolute stranger might criticise me for in a post-match message, often in a different language. I think I now know how to say "credit card", and every epithet that you could possibly attach to that, in all major languages.

    I do not want to start a debate on random chance packs and FIFA Points, or how people feel about them – because those things should not be the priority right now.

    There are a lot of people who play FIFA who have reason to be fearful. A large proportion of your players, young and old, are currently contemplating the ramifications of a global crisis where it's no longer reasonable to casually spend money on FIFA Points and hope to bag a promo player, or that icon that we all think we're long overdue. Instead, many of us are worrying about rent, bills, job security and existential considerations that are mostly unprecedented (recent history, obviously) in all the sorts of places where people have an active FUT team.

    Of all the things that have disturbed my sleep this week, "have yet to ever pack a Messi" is way down in my order of priorities.

    That said, we're all going to be spending a lot of time at home in the weeks/months ahead, and entertainment will really help.

    You've done incredibly well on our dime, as a community, for such a long time. But most of us are not in any state to give a damn about a store-focused promo next week, or the week after that, or even the month after that.

    So why not step away from cash-siphon promos for now, and shower us with some small measure of love through free content for all until the world returns to a degree of normality? I think that your business model is robust enough to survive a short spell of sensitivity – or, hey, even outright generosity.

    Frankly, assailing us with promos where the store is full of special packs and lightning rounds at the moment would be plain distasteful.

    I know that I'm an internet nobody making a quixotic attempt to hold you to ransom – but you know what? It's not an unreasonable request, and I think you can afford it.

    I hope I'm not alone in feeling this way.

    Some ways to not get pissed off at celebrations

    I honestly dont get annoyed at celebrations. And like ik a lot of people get REALLY pissed off at some so like imma just write some tips and put yours in the comments also if u got any. But like all i do usually is - listen to music all game (to me i got lil uzi vert all game its like some hype music to me it gets me into the game) - after they score just check ur phone, hop on social media and scroll for a bit - pause the game and just chill for the 40 seconds - go get a drink u usually got around 20 seconds i think - eat. Its the most relaxing thing - laugh it off. Dont let it get to ur head - quit the game. Usually what i do when i get a lil mad. The game sucks and its not worth getting so mad at.

    Yea idk why im writing this its like 1 am and i just thought of it and am trying to help some people cuz i dont have the same problems as most of you. Lmk if this helps 🤷‍♂️

    Non Rare Libertadores players being the No. 1 item in my all rare player 100k packs because they’re “special” items is one of the shittiest things EA has done

    Ffs. Every 100k pack I've opened since the release of these Libertadores items has been filled with these fucking cards. They're always the first to pop up. Not only that, 95% of those cards have non rare base cards.

    Our packs are shit anyway. Why the fuck did they have to add these trash cards that sell for 300 coins on the market.
