    Reddit Cup Semi-Final Announcement

    Hey guys! We're close to the end of the tournament, only 2 rounds left! Below you will find the fixtures for the next round, the semi-final. We're going to pick up the pace of the tournament now, you will have 24 hours to play each other twice, adding your scores together to create an overall score.

    Please have the scores back to me by 2pm tomorrow, I am aiming to get the tournament finished before TOTS on Friday. So any games that are not complete by that time will go down as a loss for both opponents. Good luck guys, message me if you have any issues.

    Felt refreshed, well rested and better mentally.

    However when I played the first game against a much stronger opponent, I got shushed.

    Nice to see that the community is still miserable as ever. Was playing against a decent player and it was a pretty tight game. So im guessing I made it hard for him when I was supposed to roll over and let him walk all over me? When the poor guy finally scored he proceeded to shush me, and then at the end of the game paused the game 3 times in a row haha. Like damn bruh, its cool that you scored and all. And good for you, you mustve grinded like a horse to get that Vieira. But is being toxic really necessary?

    Honestly not even mad tho. Its just incredibly sad. For them. To live with such hate and toxicity in their hearts.

    One thing I do actually love about this broken game is a momentum swing against a toxic player.

    When you start a match, and you feel something is a bit off. Passes going slow, touches not great. Suddenly you're 1-0 down because you passed the ball to your fullback near the halfway line, who took a touch you didn't tell him to, and you were counter attacked. Full celebration and replays follow.

    You kick off, and within 3 passes you've lost possession, the person who was open in the middle calling for the ball suddenly has a defender on them, who wins the ball from behind your player. They play a one two, and just like that it's 2-0. Celebration, replays, tifo.

    Luckily you've played Fifa before, and you know that a 2-0 lead can be a dangerous one, and all that celebrating means this person wants you to quit...

    You get one goal back, which took you hitting the post twice and a multitude of blocked shots, but all of a sudden it's 2-1. Then 2-2, then 3-2, then 4-2. Keep skipping those replays all the way through.

    Then it's 5-2 in the 75th minute and the little "blahblah has queued a pause". My how the tables have turned. Then whoosh, the connection to your opponent has been lost.

    Wait for it... Wait for it... "Message from SaltyKid123" Excellent. Balance restored.

    1 Nation, 11 Leagues - a squad building experiment

    Hey guys,

    I came up with the idea of building the best possible FUT 20 squad for each nation but with the twist that there can only be one single player from a respective league.

    The squad has to have 100 chemistry with loyalty and each player has to be on at least 6 chem. So no strikers in goal or vice versa but for example RMs at RB or CM are eligible. Technically strikers at CB would be possible thanks to ST > CDM position modifiers, but I tried to avoid that.

    This does mean that it isn't necessarily the highest rated player from a league, for example I used 88 RM Sancho instead of his 89 LF version for chem reasons. Or 87 Areola instead of 92 Griezmann because there were no decent non-big league GK options.

    I started with the 14 countries that FUTBIN classifies as "popular nations". If you want to see more, let me know! The current ones will certainly also mostly be obsolete after the release of TOTSSF:

    Are there any things that surprise you? For me it's certainly Uruguay being in 5th place. They have rather few high rated players but the ones they have play in many different parts of the world. I hope you had fun looking through this!
