    Every mention of promo players/teams directs the user to the store. It doesn't matter whether it is a big promo like TOTS or FUT Birthday, etc, or smaller promo cards like MOTM.

    All I'd like to do is see the team in game so I can compare players or even just browse at who is available.

    Give us a screen exactly like TOTW. Maybe even give us the option to play promo teams in Squad Battles (this latter part is a little ambitious I must admit, lol).

    The features are already there EA, let us use them please!

    Everyone and their nanny invested in rare Serie A players because it seemed like easymoney, but with EA making the requirements being 9 instead of 11 rares, prices are lower than they have been 4 days ago.

    I am able to buy these rares for 1.2-1.3k on bid because the market is flooded right now. Actually, it was never so cheap to complete a specific league upgrade and since I'm running a Serie A team, this fills me with joy.

    Earlybirds still made some money, I guess, because they were able to pick rares up for 800-900 coins which is nice, but I hope all stragglers learnt their lesson and don't follow investment tips which are spread all across social media in the future

    Elite guide for the 4-3-3(5) aka the false 9 formation

    Backstory, I consider myself a decent FIFA player, I started playing the game regularly in FIFA 08, I was an online season player. Back in the days there was no ultimate team just ranked head to head matches, I reached top 100 hundred twice or three times in the leaderboards. Anyway, I stopped playing the game after FIFA 17 and came back in January 2019 with FIFA 19.Fifa 19 was a stressful game and reward brainless players with 0 football IQ, the first time shots through terrible angels goes in, the shaolin soccer style with the headers, I struggled a lot to reach Elite but I reached it for first time thanks to TOTS Benzema who was the missing part for the 4-3-3(5) to work perfectly. With FIFA 20, I became a regular ELITE 3 player since December and never went beyond it till last weekend thanks again to TOTS Benzema, I reached Elite 1. I despise 4-2-3-1 and I think it is a limited formation offensively and lacks creativity, The ST and CAM are easy to be marked which occurs a lot and its frustrating to deal with. My squad

    Why using 4-3-3(5)?

    This formation is suited mainly for spacing and creating diamond shape for passing options. It can be played as a Tika taka possession or counterattack depend on the opponent playstyle. in defense it is an aggressive pressing formation to press with and cutting passing lanes. Cons of the 4-3-3(5) It is an expensive formation that needs specific type of players to work smoothly, challenging to get the right instructions, it is a risky formation and prone to counter attacks and it's require decent manual defending skills.

    Players that fit 4-3-3(5) and roles

    Let us start with goalkeepers, Fast and good with the ball are the most important things for the GK, Ter Stegin, Neuer or the PL Brazilian Keepers work perfectly with the role.

    The center backs the pace minimum is above 80 since the formation is a pressing not for drop back, good with the ball and amazing Defense ability are needed. TOTS Ramos, Varane, Diego Carlos, Gomez, Jerome, Fuchs, TOTY De Ligt are good options.

    The fullbacks are the backbone of your offence you need to invest a lot of coins to get the elite ones they are the players that create more chances. High Speed, dribbling, defense, High/high work rates are preferred or at least one, high passing and physical attributes. For the left side HL Alex Tellas and TOTS Robertson are the best options. Right side PIM Zambrota, Lainer, Prime Zanetti and TOTS Trent are the best options. Make sure the player preferred foot matches with the side, left footed fullbacks are in the left side etc...

    CDM should at least be 6ft tall and have 4 WF to minimize passing errors, High reaction, Def awareness, interceptions with physicals and pace are the key attributes. A lot of valid options are available but make sure the above attributes are cheeked player like Kante or Allan do not work here since they are short to intercept the ball even though they are godly in defence.

    CM I prefer having 2 players with 5WF or at least one player. The other player should have 4WF minimum you cannot have any 3 WF since they are prone to errors and easy to predict. The 2 CM will score a lot of goals with this formation. Tots Toni Kroos, SS Atal, FB Ramsey, Leon Grotezka, Ruud Gullet, FUT Pogba, Zidane, TOTS KDB and Eriksen are the best options. The 2 CM should at least have 80 def stats, you can use one player with 70 def stats but make sure he is the attacking cm. The roles of 2 CM one will be the playmaker that control the game like Kroos, Zidane or KDB, the other CM will act as a secondary striker that run toward the box and have more scoring options. high finishing stats is the most important attribute for this player, Atal, Gullet, Grotzeka, Ramsey are perfect for this role.

    CF Messi (gold and IF cards) and Neymar do not work here, they might work against weaker opponents but when your facing good players they are easy to disappear and marked since they lack the physical presence when the game is close. Tots Benz, Suarez, Aguero are cheap options available right now, for Luxury Mid R9, Fut Birthday Mbapape, TOTS Lewa work perfectly here. You CF will be all around attacker he will carry your offence do not cheap with this player.

    Wingers I prefer to have one player act as a true winger and the other one act is the creative player that can do anything and move freely in the pitch. The winger role you can use players like Adama, Visca, James, Gnabry, Corona, Rashford. The Creative role players Like Neymar, Messi, TOTS Griezmann, PIM Del Piero, PIM Laudrup, Cruyff, Reus, Sancho works perfectly here since they have the space and freedom to roam the pitch, if you use them in the CF they will easily get marked against the OP center backs available now

    Team instructions and player instructions:

    Def Style If you are comfortable with Manuel Defending use Pressure with heavy touch or after possession loss, if the game is lagging use balance and press manually.

    Width 4 or 5

    Depth 6 or 7

    Player instructions:

    GK: Sweeper Keeper, comes with crosses.

    CB: Default

    Fullbacks: Default except overlap make sure to make them overlap since they will provide the width for you.

    CDM: Stay back while attack, cover center.

    CM (the playmaker role): default expect cover center

    CM (The attacking one): Get forward and cover wing.

    CF: Stay forward, Target man.

    True winger: Comes back on defense, get into box for cross the rest are default.

    Another winger (Creative player): comes back on defense, get into box for cross and free roam.

    Offense:

    Offensive style Balanced keep it simple u can use Possession if you want to hold the ball to secure games but it's is not valid here because it's slow up your offense and less dynimc.

    Width 8 bar

    Player in box 5

    Corners and Free Kicks optional but for me I put 2 bars

    In conclusion I truly believe the 4-3-3(5) is the most fun formation for attacking and valid option to counter the 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2, the passing option available and the spacing is unique in this formation. You can play it like Pep style with the Tiki taka or play it aggressively and pressing high like Klopp style. It is versatile formation and rewarding in both offence and defence and in real life Teams like Barca, Real and Liverpool use it.

    EA Keep Track of Some Weird Variables

    So I was scanning through the Network Requests in the Developer Tools of the Web App to find out how many items I have in my unassigned. The /usermassinfo XHR edit response data contains said information, but it also contains some other weird stuff. This request (/usermassinfo) to the server is made by the Web App (client) when you land on the page so all the relevant information is loaded up front rather than loading it bit by bit (ie unassigned pile, coins, squads, tradepile, etc).

    The one that really caught my eye was this:

    "reliability": { "reliability": 91, "startedMatches": 2858, "finishedMatches": 2764, "matchUnfinishedTime": 0 },

    I thought this was really interesting. I've finished 2764 of the 2858 games I've played, which is 96% of my games (I rarely ever rage quit). This is a random thing to keep track of, but on top of that, it doesn't match up with my reliability score of 91, which to be fair isn't necessarily a percentage, but it would correlate pretty closely. This makes me wonder two things:

    • How is the reliability score calculated exactly?

    • What is it used for?

    There are a whole lot of other weird variables i found in that request. Here are a few boolean (0 = false, 1 = true) variables i found:

    • "tradeOffersEnabled" - 0

    • "enableRegionalKillSwitchFramework" - 0

    • "rivalsPlacementRFactor" - 240

    • "enableSimMatch" - 0

    • "tradeProcessConfidenceValue" - 50

    • "rivalsInitialSkillPointsInPlacement" - 1000

    This is the link to the network request made to the server: https://utas.external.s2.fut.ea.com/ut/game/fifa20/usermassinfo. You won't be able to hit that without setting proper User Agent, Phishing Tokens, CORS, etc (which the web-app client does when it sends that request), but if you want to search through the network tab to find that request, that's what you wanna look for.

    TL;DR - There's some interesting stuff that EA keeps track of and it makes me wonder why. There's no concrete answer based on what I've seen and I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone else who has done some more digging.
