We all know 97 Luis Alberto doesn't show up as frequently as 97 Ben Yedder, this maybe is fair, but we should have access to data showing us what the chances exactly are. I opened my packs two days and ended up with a pretty decent haul: Walkouts: 27 Premium Players: 3 As promised I donated $107 to Color of Change ($1/Walkout, $20/Premium Player, $20 because its a great cause) in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. I would call that an awesome success. So what in the world am I supposed to call it when two of those premium players were Prime 91 Desailly and TOTS 99 Ronaldo? And what am I supposed to call it when, on top of my donations, those watching donated an additional $750 dollars? I could have never imagined that opening some FIFA packs would lead to such an incredible outcome, and my heart is full for the amazing people who donated and kept me company. Originally, I wanted to keep close track of pulls and return on packs, but it quickly became evident that larger things were in motion. The FUT takeaways are that packs are a scam unless you pull TOTS Ronaldo in your 5th to last pack. Of ~10 Mill worth of packs I made back probably 4.5 Mill (1.5 Mill without Ronaldo). The bigger takeaway is that with the kindness and generosity of the people in this community, you can take your odd obsession with league SBCs and make a real difference for a vital cause. Whether it is donating, giving a charity stream a shot, reading up on important issues, encouraging people you know to vote, or any other number of things - your small effort can make a big difference when supported by the amazing people around you. | EA are going to remove the free market and are conditioning everyone before they do it Posted: 11 Jun 2020 12:24 AM PDT Everyone knows eventually EA is going to have to change their model for UT, likely when the UK and Germany take action against loot boxes. EA knows this too and are preparing people. We already have a large part of the community who enjoy building untradeable teams via SBC's, this is something EA is encouraging. The next step is for people to accept untradeable rewards without complaining, something everyone complained about at the start of the year but over time people get used to it and accept it as the norm. I'm fairly sure EA will sell players outright to avoid lootbox laws. For example, Neymar could cost 1000 fut tokens. They'll sell these for real money or let you earn them incredibly slowly by playing the game, through sbc's, WL/Div rival rewards. This will not only allow them to monetise the big cards everyone wants to use, it'll allow them to monetise what we call 'fodder'. If you want to compete a player SBC that expires in 3 days but don't have the cards for it, you'll buy a 90 rated Ter Stegen to make sure you can complete it before time runs out. This is why they removed Icon SBC's in my opinion. They know how desperate people are for them and they'll reintroduce them in the future and act like they're caring about the community. They'll likely go as far as making these types of SBC's only available for a limited time in order to push people to impulse buy and continue to bring them back every so often. People will say 'oh i'll quit fifa if they do this'. It doesn't matter to EA if the f2p players quit, this model will change nothing for a p2w player. Infact, it might encourage people to spend more because they don't have to spend so much time opening packs and with no way to trade cards to get a return on them, people will have to buy, buy, buy to continue to upgrade their teams. Posted: 11 Jun 2020 01:50 AM PDT Finished constantly G1 throughout this promo, my best red pick has been Alberto (today again, paired with Sommer). No red picks improved my team, the only usable was hakimi but I have no one to link him. Besides that, I got the usual GKs and some reserve players. The guaranteed TOTS SBCs have been horrible. In my last 7 packs I, no joke, got 6 GKs and Serdar. (Szcesny, MLS GK, Rajkovic, ROTW GK, Sommer and Henderson) Really sad, but what did I expect huh, just hope that EA eventually release a Ultimate TOTS SBC, so I have at least a chance of a high end player. Anyway, this might be the end of FIFA 20 for me, no need to grind 30 games if rewards aren't actually rewarding. Just wanted to share it here, because none of my friends play FIFA [link] [comments] |

Obviously they also did it so people tryin to earn coins opening packs can hit tots and still barely make any money.
