    Didn't mind getting gold 3 the pst weeks because the minor leagues were actually really good. This one is just terrible, not even these cards would be in my bench. I luckily got Gold 2, but if I would've got Gold 3 i'd be salty.

    What I mean by toxic? It's very, very frustrating, causing a lot of negative/toxic feelings in the player's mind, ruining mood lots of times. This is my experience so far.

    I will state the flaws I noticed from my own noob experience, being very familiarized with Fifa, but never playing FUT before:

    1. The passing system. As most of you already know and complained about, the passes are just obnoxious at times. Sometimes the direction doesn't work as it should, other times the power, and in some moments even the pass itself is failed, when the player does a weird animation out of nowhere and it moves the ball 1 m in front of him. While all of these things would be understandable if it would be rare cases of them, in FUT the reality is the opposite, and these things happen way more than someone can take them.

    And the through balls, one of the best things about Fifa imo, are now a complete mess. The passer and the receiver can both be in the most proper positions you could think of, yet when you press that through ball button, the ball either goes right to the defender, or into the GK's hands. It's incredibly poor made and it's just a shame.

    2. The goal scoring system. I'm a division 9 player, so I'm not good compared to most of you probably. That being said, I don't think I'm bad either. Anyway, in FUT 2020 it's so annoyingly hard to score. I do everything good until the last moment, yet I just cannot score even a third of the big opportunities I have. That's waaay too much. Why? First of all, delayed animation sometimes. I press the shoot button, I give it power, all good, yet the player doesn't do the animation as soon as possible. No, it stops for a bit, and that 1 sec delay, maybe less, it's enough for the defender to come and block me, even if he was behind my player. It's just wrong.

    Second of all, heading. As everyone already knows, you just can't score with headers anymore. I used to love playing Fifa with crosses. It was my thing. FUT? It's simply useless.

    Third: long shots nerfed to the ground. Same like with headers, almost impossible. Who doesn't like scoring long shots? Why was it "removed"?

    Fourth: inconsistency with the direction of shots. Let's say I have some player with big finishing, like 92 Joao Pedro, with some shooting chem also. Good positioning, I press finesse, all easy to do, ball goes out near crossbar. Same situation, same player, I do the same, it's in. What changed? The opponent. I can't understand how to finish properly, if sometimes I shoot and it goes very well, yet most of the times it's a miss, even if it was the easiest press of buttons ever. I don't expect to score 90 % of the times there is a very good opportunity, no, but finishing is just frustratingly inconsistent. And yes, I even shoot with LT a lot, as I heard it improves power shot and accuracy. It's the same story for me, I mean it.

    3. The attacking player's movement off the ball. This is one of the biggest factors that annoys me when playing. It's so unrealistic nowadays. So many times the striker behaves like he is meant to run from the ball, instead of trying to find a proper position to receive the pass (especially on counter attacks). And no, I don't have "get behind in" on. It's not that. It's like they're hiding in a way they cannot receive the ball anymore. The same goes for midfielders, but for them it's the fact they do not move enough. They're so static it's absurd. It's crazy that now I have to also "manipulate" the position of the receiving player every time, with the LB RB, otherwise he won't move. Just nonsense.

    4. The lag. I only played Rivals, not Fut champs, but the lag is in there too sometimes. This should never happen in a game where every animation can matter so much. Yet it does, and I believe it's no coincidence they aren't fixing them. It's all part of the frustrating environment, but you may call it a conspiracy theory, I don't mind, it's simply my opinion.

    5. DDA, as people called it. I was lurking this sub before getting the game and I heard about it. Well, needles to say, I noticed it, it's in there and it's awfully obvious. I cannot recognize my players in some moments, be it they play way too good or way too bad. There is something very fishy about the player's behavior in some games, and there shouldn't be too many people denying it.

    Big sorry for (if) anyone who reads this, as it is a very long post. I just needed to get this off my chest. I, for one, am decided not to buy the next Fifa. It's the best thing I can do for my brain, mood, and mental health. It's totally not worth it.

    I'm sure almost all of you guys will still buy it, and I totally understand you. You are addicted, same like I am with Dota 2. I strongly believe that this HUGE frustration caused by the game is the main thing that keeps people addicted. I think EA knows this and is using it for their benefit. They're not evil, they just want your money, in whatever ways possible.

    I am also a big football fan, so I understand that this addiction came from a passion. That being said, I'm sure lots of you are getting a way lot of negative feelings out of this game, rather than positive ones. The passion does not belong to this toxic game, that's my opinion.

    And one last thing, I thought Dota 2 is toxic, but the big difference is that Dota's players make the game toxic, while in here it's honestly the gameplay, not the shush, dabs, replays etc. It's not where the real toxicity comes from.

    I'd say Benzema is the real troll probably, also because of the position, but it is still a W IMO. The other trolling flag is England.

    Why removing icon sbcs was another dirty move by EA

    Was just thinking about this, but it's kind of disgusting on ea's part that the only way to play with the cover star, Zidane, before May this year, 8 months into the 11 month cycle, was to have accumulated over 2 million coins.

    Imagine being a 12 year old kid who buys FIFA excited to play with your favorite player of all time only to find out that the only way you can do that is by either spending thousand on packs or countless hours of grinding. And that's only to get the worst of 4 options.

    Not having icon sbcs this year was a huge miss. Icon's pack weight is terrible and the top icons are completely unattainable for 90% of players. Pretty sad considering how big of a selling point icons are for FIFA.

    At the end of the day, FUT was founded on the idea that you could make a team of players that had never played with each other before but what's it's really become is showing you a desirable card and then trying to force you into a corner to where the only way to play with that card is to spend real life money. I mean icons aren't even available to play with outside of fut.
