    There's a HUGE issue on PC that no one is talking about.

    TL;DR

    A lot of PC players can't play FUT and no one knows when it's gonna be solved.

    So basically, on PC there's this thing called EA Play Pro, which when bought allowed you to play the full version of FIFA 21 10 days early. (+ it gives you some cool bonuses, really good deal in overall.)

    A lot of people (including me) only bought it for a month to get the game early and then buy the full game.

    It also allows the people that did it to instead of buying the standard edition, buy the Loyalty Edition, which is significantly cheaper and gives you 500 additional FIFA Points.

    Obviously, most people saw that the Loyalty Edition is much better value and bought it.

    As it turns out, in the Loyalty Edition, you can't open Ultimate Team. Every time you try, there's an error. Due to this, many people weren't able to finish the Weekend League or complete SBCs (such as the Talisca SBC). This has been an issue since the 1st of November. There have been multiple threads about it on EA Answers HQ (one of them being 60 pages long) and we still haven't got any actual info from EA.

    We also can't open the Web App, because it requires logging into the console (which we obviously can't do.)

    Some employees have told us that they are working on the issue, but no one knows when is it gonna be fixed, or what caused it. All we can do at the moment is wait. And it's frustrating.

    I don't see anyone talking about it, but it's affecting a lot of people and I want to spread awareness.

    Please, share this or something, it would be greatly appreciated

    I hear people saying that TOTW is outdated and that there needs to be a different concept as playing Champs is pretty much pointless.

    What do you think? Does TOTW need to be abolished, do player picks need a revamp instead?

    What's wrong with CDMs this year?

    EVERY formation I've played, where there are CDMs (mostly 442, 4231 and 4222), both of them LITERALLY stand still when opponent has the ball.

    For example, if my opponent is close to my penalty area, i sometimes switch to CB or LB/RB to defend and try to stand close to attacker. What are my CDMs doing in the same action? Standing few metres away from the action, doing abolutely dog shit. It doesn't matter if I change formation, tactics, instructions or even players. I checked a lot of them (Zakaria, De Jong, Can, Delaney and few other) and result is always the same

    Am I doing something wrong or this year it's even more important to use ONLY CDMs to defend and never ever touch CBs?

    If you're trying to complete the Mollet objective, but are struggling to actually win, I can tell you why that is.

    It's not because you on't use Mbappe.

    It's not because "PeoPle aRe sO ToxIc eVEn In fRiEnDliEs"

    It's because you're bad at the game without your P2W team that got you into your division, and you can't play with 77 rated players against people from your division with a similar team to you ratings wise.

    Random opinion: calling the lowest rated icon "baby" is weird.

    A lot of the time, the lowest rated version is actually the player at when they're at their oldest. And aside from that it just sounds fucking weird.

    Please just call them base icons.

    maybe 3 or 4 times I tried to buy but a little bit before finishing the transation I remember the feeling when you open a pack bought with fifa points and gets no one, that regret makes me think twice. Fight for it if you are a compulsive buyer, you don't need to live with this regret.

    I decided to bite the bullet and buy a £250 gaming router(Nighthawk Pro) because I had probably lost years of my life stressing over slow delayed gameplay.

    This router has something called geo filtering, which is the ability to choose specific areas and ranges for your video games to connect to and to block others, I have about 230+ regions blocked.

    As I am from the UK, I only have London, France, Germany and Amsterdam selected, this has basically eliminated any delay, lag or the "stuck in mud" feelings that we all feel.

    From this the game has become ridiculously responsive, smooth as butter and it is a joy to play in terms of freedom of movement. Skill moves work!

    The only downside is that games sometimes take a little bit longer to be found if it is not peak time.

    I did monitor my network traffic before hand and I found that I was connecting to US servers and beyond, rather than the EA server in Amsterdam for example which is only 400 miles away.

    The 'meta' (I hate that word) in FIFA always has been and always will be pace. But we all know in real football that the fastest players aren't always the best. Players like Kane and Lewandowski arent as effective in general than players like Teixeira and Rodrigo.

    The problem is shooting. It's too easy. Any half decent player can slap the ball into the top corner from inside the 18 yard box on their wrong foot. It just shouldn't work that way. There should be a bigger gap between elite finishers and average ones.

    Outside the box is a different story - very difficult to score with anyone. Maybe only finesse finishes work. Played a fair few games now including two WLs and I think maybe one or two goals from outside the box.

    Whilst I agree blocking is 'OP', it's just too easy to score when shots aren't blocked. It gives a little balance to the game, and stops games being 9-7 (they're 6-4 instead)..

    Maybe this is EAs way of levelling the game so that casual players with cheaper teams can compete with the more expensive teams, but for me I don't think they have the balance right. Shooting is too easy and real life finishers just aren't valued. No one should want Rodrigo in their team over Kane in real life and it shouldn't happen in FIFA.

    Also I miss scoring the occasional 40 yard screamer. When you get an open look and just hit it. It's my first FIFA since 18 and I feel like every goal is the same. This is even more noticeable when you watch pros play against each other. Meta this, meta that. It's always the fucking meta.

    Just my two cents. Do with it what you will.

    PSA: PC players, you can report cheater as soon as you see his bronze-36chemistry-squad. Here is how:

    Right after squad screen, PAUSE THE GAME BEFORE KICK-OFF (the most important part), then press "square" on your controller to see player list, and see his username. Then press SHIFT+F1 (to open origin in-game) --> Friends list ---> Add Friend ---> enter that guy username, and his profile will open. From there open profile menu, select report for "cheating" --> in-game cheat. In additional comments write down it's fifa 21 and add what game mode (rivals, draft, fut champs etc.). We must raise awereness about the fact that playing on PC is becoming impossible!
