    As we all know, there is a lot of anger to be had in FIFA. Many controllers have lost their lives in the 90th minute. Some call it handicap. Some call it scripting. Sometimes it's just the general online bullshit that send you into a rage. This is our weekly support group -- where we come to vent and rant against all the things that shouldn't matter, except they do!

    When your opponent activates team press, the man-marking is so good because nobody moves to get open. They just stand with a man on their back and dawdle around until you turn the ball over or go long to play off a second ball.

    Moreover, when you pass a player the ball, you aren't even able to control him and bring him towards the ball. He just stays stagnant, and you can't move him, allowing easy interceptions for the opponent.

    I don't understand how hard it is to let us move players to/from the ball as the pass is moving toward them, especially when it auto-switches you to that player anyways.

    It’s that time of year again

    Where we look back at the previous fifa with rose tinted glasses. Dear god the amount of posts bitching about this promo are insane. Comparing it to last years is so stupid. We did this last year too, complained how shit futmas was and said 19s was better. Same with 19 and 18.

    Last year the market was completely different. People didn't have as many coins so sbc's were cheaper. Not to mention the fact that we can essentially grind fodder out at a much easier rate than last year. So of course the sbc's are gonna be more expensive.

    The players might be worse than last year, but the objectives this year are far superior imo. Not to mention the gameplay (which is the most important aspect imo) is head and shoulders better this year. This sub moans for the sake of moaning.

    I know people are doing it, because I've politely messaged them to draw it to their attention, and got various interesting replies.

    I don't have any kind of visual impairment, and find it difficult sometimes, especially that leather fucking thing. So I can't imagine what it's like for people who are visually impaired to any extent.

    Like I said, don't be that guy.

    Here me out but fifa have missed a serious trick here with the levelling up system to keep player engagement.

    I'm not a serious player. I work full time, enjoy watching films with my fiancé and socialise at the weekend, in between I love playing fifa when I can do I just find the tiers such a drag.. How many different badges can you get? I've not changed my badge since day one and have no intention to.

    Each level should be a reward for the player, for example;

    • Packs to open
    • coin boosts
    • Draft tokens
    • Player picks every 5/10 levels
    • In game coin boosts x5/10/15

    Not badge after badge, kit after kit.. it's demoralising spending hours on a game to achieve another level and get a badge of an owl...

    Just my 2 pence, people will agree, people will disagree and some will be say something irrelevant.

    Be keen to understand others views!

    I might get a lot of stick for this SO i'll take cover right when I'm done however I've been a part of this community for SO long and I'm getting a bit blunted by now. Or my memory is a lot better than a wast majority of this community cause I sure can't remember everyone praising these promo's in the past :)

    Everywhere I see these posts and threads about how FUTMas (nowadays called "Freeze") was so "much better" in the past. However as I recall it, people were SOO mad about the majority of the card released both on FIFA 19 and FIFA 20.

    I remember Heung Min Son on FIFA 19, EA didnt even upgrade the rating from the UCL card (that was +1 in rating from the base card on FIFA19) and the SBC were over 200k to finish. Last year Sissoko, Mendy, Rashford were all over 300k and people went bananas. Sure they released cheaper alternatives as with Lozano that was approx 30k however with him people complained how EA had nerfed him too much from FIFA 19 where he was one of the most OP cards ever on FIFA.

    There's even a FIFA 18 tribute post and people referring to that promo saying it was way better than this year. On FIFA 18 the lowest rated FUTMas cards was 81 and 82 rated ones. Imagine EA releasing 81s and 82s this year.

    I'm not saying "Freeze" is the best of promos, of course EA:s gonna do what they can to drain the community of coins and fodder in relation to what you get in return , that's what they do. However I would think people these days in general has more coins, more fodder. The removal of fitness cards should've had such impact as well. Of course the SBC's will be more expensive. Sure the selection of players could be better, but it's to early for mega meta OP cards yet. At least not "cheap".

    I'm just a bit curious what you guys think. Am I the only one who remember people going crazy over "bad promo's" such as FUTMas etc on the old installments as well?

    RTTF Kessie is my best purchase of the year

    This is by far the best purchase i have made in all of Fifa. I have a serie A/prem hybrid and he is an absolute rock in the midfield, he's also pretty much one upgrade away from the 80 club (plus already has 93 physical).

    I know it's hard to fit him in most hybrids but if you were looking for a new card in your team i would HIGHLY recommend.

    I got him for ~190k right before he went out of packs, i think he's closer to 280k now but still worth every single penny.

    You wouldn't get any pack rewards from them, but you could still play online draft for rewards. I think it would be really fun to make a draft that you can play against your friend. At least make a casual draft mode without rewards that doesn't cost anything. Every time I play draft I lose around 5k.

    Who remembers chem gate in FIFA 16?

    That was the best ever time of Fifa for me, would absolute love if they had a huge revamp of the current chemistry system

    For anyone wondering, if I'm not mistaken, during this period, all special cards would receive 4/5 chem regardless of links and positions so you could play them absolutely anywhere and they would still receive a minor boost.

    I remember an IF Layun at CM, and you could use absolutely any player you wanted because links didn't matter

    I come on here once in a while and then regret it several minutes later, some of you make a game I enjoy sound worse than impending doom. Yet everyone that complains, still plays it.

    From being on this subreddit for a little while, I have written a brief description of what it feels like.
