    Okay hear me out. Clearly someone at EA has gone rogue. Or at least according to my observations. All the recent bugs and developer problems seem like someone is intentionally doing them and haven't been caught so far.

    1. Said employee gets exposed on Twitter and EA are out to catch him/her after publicly announcing it.

    2. People start randomly getting packs and PLAYERS (POTM Messi's) out of the blue when EA said content granting tools have been disabled.

    3. People started seeing all developer options on the web app, and basically show how exactly you can add items to an account from the back end, how easy it is to take/give transfer market access etc.

    4. People cannot purchase packs with coins.

    All of these bugs have one thing in common, they're all developer oriented, and can be done from the back end. I think it's very likely it's the same employee (or group of employees) who are taking the dump on the parent company after whatever has gone down.

    Either way, it's entertaining. It's not very sustainable and history tells me the dude is going to get caught soon, but all of this is too coincidental to be just incompetence on EA's part.

    Rare Mega Packs are mega shit.

    Edit. All packs are shit, no doubt, but the Rare Mega Packs have that unique combination of being expensive, super shit, and full of shit consumables. At least if your 50k pack is shit, you'll only have players.

    The price of a card 100% impacts the pack weight rather than the rating as EA imply.

    Right now the cheapest 82 in form is around 35k. 82 in forms used to be barely over discard. Obviously they have increased in price due to the repeatable icon pack and the prime icon pack. However, 82 in forms used to be so common to pack except now I don't think I've packed an in form in about 100 varied packs. I used to end up with about three shitty TOTW cards every Thursday after rewards, yet no in form this week.

    It's like how when Mendy was 120k, you would pack 83 Acuna thirty times before packing Mendy once. Whereas now he's much more common to pack. In an older fifa, 79 rated cards would go up due to league SBCs and then once they increased in price they would remain that high due to never being packed. The same goes for the expensive silver cards.

    Anybody who does the league SBC method will understand what I'm saying and I think anybody who's noticed the lack of in forms in packs since they increased in price would understand too. EA shouldn't be allowed to be this opaque with the market and packs.

    The problem with live cards

    There's now 8 teams remaining in the Europa League and there's only FIVE UEL Live cards still active. 2 are from Man U and both are >600k. 1 is from Arsenal and he's 1.2 Mil. 1 is from Roma and the last is Tadic from Ajax (completely undesirable). None from Zagreb. None remaining from Villarreal (RIP Kubo). None from Slavia Prague. Finally, none from Grenada.

    What doesn't make sense to me is why they haven't just added additional cards from the smaller teams. Nobody's suggesting to get rid of the cards from bigger clubs, but my god, why not give ANY to these lower level teams?

    This system needs a revamp next game cycle.

    Any objective where its' like 'score in 15 seperate matches' or just 'play 15 matches' is just shit. For one thing actually playing a whole match with no motiavtion to do anything is boring as fuck, and secondly because if you're playing against other people doing the same thing sometimes they don't even bother to play the game. Most of us aren't blessed with loads of time and we don't wanna spend it trying to get cool cards by half the time doing literally nothing. 15 games of fifa is a long time without people quitting games.

    10 tips - how to behave in (and near) penalty box to score more goals

    Hi guys,

    some time ago, I prepared a little general guide about Fifa21 that many of you found helpful. It can be viewed here - thank you again for all the feedback! https://www.reddit.com/r/FIFA/comments/lwd4gu/20_tips_how_to_improve_your_mentality_gameplay/

    Many of your questions that appeared below the previous post were about attacking style - you were interested in tips that help utilizing opponents' mistakes and some tricks that can result in scoring more goals in penalty box. I thought that I create another guide for you. Again, many of you may find these tips obvious but maybe a tip or two may be useful to some of you when you want to put the ball in the net ;)

    So, here we go!

    1. Invest in one left-foot finesse ST or CAM (or 5* weak foot) - I noticed that majority of players focus on you choosing the right turn when defending (the do it on spec, hoping that you choose right foot). They are often surprised when you turn left instead of turning right. Then you have time to shoot a banger or finesse, especially when you have a player that can do it right (Raul, Messi, Talisca, David Silva, Butragueno etc.). Many people just do not know if the player is good with his left foot - that is why my Raul always surprise them (people believe he's right footed)
    2. Chip shots - quite broken this year. Sometimes GKs let them go in...in a very disgusting way. Try them!
    3. Ball roll before the shot - especially when you have 1v1 situation. They highly increase the chance of the ball going in. Roll the ball to the side you want to choose for shooting (ex. roll to the right when you want to use the right foot)
    4. Finesse shots on the edge of penalty box - they often go in, especially when you have finesse shot trait. Choose the far post shot - you will score many beautiful goals. I think that especially tall GKs are vulnerable to this shot (Courtouis, Pope, Hart etc.)
    5. "Fake" dragback and other skill moves - simple but very useful trick. Do the dragback, but continue running in the previous direction (ex. you go right, do dragback, but choose right direction again instead of changing direction). Your opponent will probably move the defender away to stop you, so you probably will have a clear chance to shoot. Useful on the wings too.
      What about the others? I recommend simple and effective ones: fake shot + crocqueta and L1 running (open up) fake shot. Very, very useful. I also like heel-to-heel and Three Touch Roulette - the last one is not very well-known and people cannot defend it properly. I like using it and immediately after the move make a finesse shot
      Finally - the bridge - most broken skill move, just double tap R1. Unfortunately it's still very effective, even after nerfing. I just beg you, do not spam this, spammers are the worst. Use it when you really need to ;)
    6. Do not rely just on through balls - especially when you are near the box. GKs will often catch them and you will lose the chance. Also, when you just spam them, you are very easy to read for a better player.
    7. Don't force the shots. Be patient and unpredictable, dribble with left stick. Make circles with the ball - many people do not know skill moves but they just cannot be stopped because of unpredictability of their gameplay. They don't force anything - just dribble with letf stick in the directions that are not obvious. Watch or record your gameplay and observe, where your oppoonent read your gameplay - try to work on that
    8. Don't run all the time. Run when he does not expect that - headless chickens don't win the games, they are eaten by better players. When you build up your play in a normal, slower way, sudden change of tempo and fast banger is surprising fot the opponent
    9. Trap the ball in the chosen direction - another surprising way of play is to trap the ball in the direction you want. Use R1 and direction or fake shot to do that when you receive the pass, master it in SB or training sessions. You will be faster and create more space
    10. Watch the GK - many people like to move their GK (because YouTubers told them to do that...) during set pieces or when you create a chance in the penalty box. It's a great opportunity to score when you read the opponent's pattern. Use it!
