Sometimes it's just the general online bullshit that send you into a rage. This is our weekly support group -- where we come to vent and rant against all the things that shouldn't matter, except they do!

    I made a post a little while back asking how to keep my tics from impacting my gameplay.

    I received tics from my time in service and the potential solutions people provided was just heartwarming to see.

    I got back after being out of it all for a lengthy 8 months, had to adapt how I played the game and I received immediate assistance.

    So far, I've been doing a lot better and been able to play sort of like I used to.

    We're easily the 2nd most important continent in World Football and we've been completely ignored through the game cycle. EA has the rights to both continental tournaments and asides from some MOTM there have been 0 special cards. Also I'm pretty sure the Argentinian league has had 0 IFs all year. No Flashback cards, no Moments, nothing. And by killing League SBCs, there are no longer any special players at all we can grind for.

    And even worse, most Sudamericana teams never had their winter transfers updated in game. It's ridiculous.

    They'll probably give us a one week promo like last year and call it a day which I personally think is a waste of a tournament's license.

    15,000,000 coins for Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Gullit, Zidane and Pele is nothing short of a joke since it literally costs 10's of thousands of pounds to get those players, in a game (which is essentially a DLC) which lasts one year, either you spend thousands or you play the game non stop 24/7 and never get those players anyway, all players should be accessible to atleast some players, no one has all of those players even people like Bateson87 and Manny who have already spent 10's of thousands, which makes the name "Ultimate Team" completely ridiculous

    There's just no explanation or reason for it to be so random and so bad. Like seriously how did a group of developers sit down and actually program it to be this way?

    There's instances where my 96 Messi with 99 in every single passing category will actually turn around and pass the opposite way right to the feet of a defender.

    Oh there's an easy through ball for a goal? Let's pass it randomly 25 yards to the side near the corner flag. Run onto that.

    Oh an intricate move around the box, one little pass and it's a goal! Automatically a 90mph through ball into the keepers arms.

    Huh? You've got it with your 76 rated right back with 50 short pass? Here's an inch perfect 80 yard through ball around the entire team.

    And they wonder why people just sit back and run with it on the counter.

    Imagine being D1/R1, E3 (SB) and G1 (WL), for every week since release, and being nowhere even close to R9 or R10.

    I've also gotten every player objective, look spare me the shaming, however deserved it is. I'll just say that I prioritize family time, work and house chores, I might be doing all of this at the expense of sleep time, but here I am.

    Feel free to ask how I do all this, but that's not the point of my post.

    Managing the time and skill to do all of this is not easy at all, I'm not even bragging about being good, G1 takes a lot of effort these days for me, yet I'm nowhere near close any of those 15 m players.

    Look I enjoy the game, flaws and all, and god knows I need a hobby to escape the day to day, but how can EA tell us with a straight face that all players are obtainable through gameplay.

    Note: I know I could've traded better, but I use my spare time for you know... actually playing, I've gotten a few decent pulls, I got a decent team that I enjoy, but I've been beaten up by the EA tax for trying out icons.

    I'll do admit tho... why do I put myself through SB ? On that I do deserve ridicule, I don't know why I do that.

    His stats are absolutely insane. He has 92 pace, 92 dribbling, 93 shooting, 86 passing, and even decent defending (for a striker), all for 880k. Why is he so cheap? Is his stats a lie or something? Anyone who has used prime stoichkov, please tell me how he plays, and if he is really worth it.

    Why are you still playing?

    I'm a casual player, and for me the best part was building my team without buying FIFA Points or opening packs, just playing the game and using the transfer market.

    Now i have a good team, my best players are untradeables, and keep asking me why i am playing? I don't really have a chance to get the best icons or TOTY/TOTS players, i feel like the grind is almost over.

    What make you play this game? Is it for rewards? raking?

    A rivals short story

    This morning I found myself at 1400 SR and aimed to reach 1500 for the one time promotion reward. Around twenty games later I am at 1390 SR and have learned the following:

    • if I can't perform a first time fake shot I am very likely to loose the game
    • as i was concentrating on winning I bottled so often, as soon as I was playing relaxed I won more easily
    • out of 5 times meeting the giroud card I got destroyed once pretty bad and the other times he was just shit (already submitted my card to the 5x85 sbc)
    • 50% of People just try to fake Shot Bridge After Kick off (this is so annoying)
    • met a 20mil team once and destroyed it, met some gold team and have been destroyed by them more often than I want to admit
    • Momentum clearly plays a role and as soon as the opposing team gets it just hold the ball for 10min
    • missed a penalty and got a message saying thanks for missing it on purpose

    What are your stories of rivals this week? Feel free to share them!

    TLDR: what is the one time promotion reward for reaching div3? Probably not worth the sweat of 20 games.

    Console on, one game, bad gameplay, dominate, concede throughball BS, pause, quit, turn off console.

    Try again tomorrow. No motivation to do objectives, no motivation to craft packs, nothing. The heart of this game outside of all the flash is still gameplay. And gameplay is a turd no matter how you dress it up.

    Just so disappointing.

    EDIT: Forgot to add the final stage of FIFA grief is I come to reddit to feel better about myself lol.

    I have 4 fgs tokens, shall I do the mega pack sbc or will there be another token?

    I know they said there would be 10 total and this is the 10th token I think... But the SBCs are there for another nearly 2 months, surely there will be more events before then?
