- How can one do elastico with Benzema/Aouar/Mertens even tho they are 4* SM?
- Conspiracy Theory: EA knows that League SBCs are cheap to do on rewards days and deliberately disabled them

| UPDATE: Just finished playing my student! Posted: 27 May 2021 12:04 PM PDT Overall record: I went 3-1 against him! 1st game: Loss (2-3) I was Arsenal and he was Chelsea. I gave up a penalty in the 3rd minute. You guys weren't kidding about how easy it was to concede penalties. Other than that, it went back and forth, and I was trying to shake off the cobwebs. 2nd game: Win (2-1) I played with Chelsea and he played with Lazio. All I have to say is Kante is still the best midfielder in FIFA. Also, Pulisic put one top bins in the second half to seal the deal. 3rd game: Win (3-0) I used Dortmund, and he took Liverpool. Haaland....that's it lol 4th game: Win (3-1) I used Dortmund again, and he used Tottenham. I had a lucky run here getting two quick headers, and he had one bounce off the crossbar early that probably should've been a goal. I had a blast. It was a great way to end the school year. A few other students showed up to watch the battle, so I've got some FIFA cred still! Downside is that all I want to do is go out and buy the new FIFA now, and my wife is not going to be happy about that. Thanks for reading FIFA friends! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 27 May 2021 04:28 PM PDT I genuinely cannot see how anyone at EA thought something like this can't have any punishment and only benefits those with a really good connection. For example, if you spam regular skill moves your player gets instantly tired and will most likely loose the ball on the next skill he does. However, if you spam skill move cancels your player can do it forever without any punishment at all. Im not saying the cancels itself are a bad idea. For instance, if you miss-pressed a pass or you see its going to be intercepted, you should be able to cancel it. Same goes for a skill move, say you didn't mean to do X skill move, you should be able to cancel it. The problem comes when you can spam it freely without any punishment. I don't see how being able to spam this adds a skill gap to the game when you are dependant on your connection being good enough to constantly do it. This just adds another broken mechanic that probably won't be adjusted. [link] [comments] |

You win by memorizing and excuting skill moves (combos) and countering your opponents skill moves. You beat your opponent by abusing and canceling animations at critical times. You score goals by learning the best angles to shoot from and the players with the best animations, body types .. etc. It is not about teamwork, strategies and tactics. It is all about how effectively you use individual players. Therefore, I think year after year, it is becoming more of a fighting game, rather than a sports game. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. TOTW is a dead promo and we all know it, perhaps including scaling TOTW rewards (similar to red picks in WL) would help. Nobody is hyped about TOTW pulls, but a guaranteed chance at decent fodder/maybe a useable TOTW would add some life into a dead concept. We already know we are getting promo cards as rewards for weekend league next FIFA, so in my opinion a logical next step is to grandfather old concepts (TOTW red picks) and implement them straight into Rivals rewards. What's the point you ask? "Nobody liked TOTW red picks anyways". This I argue, is an even bigger reason to add these as a nice bonus to Rival rewards. Casual players can grind Rivals every week (most dont care about meta power curve anyways) And everyone else no lifing can focus on Weekend League rewards. This would also solve the drained club issue most people have. [link] [comments] |

I cannot be the only one to suffer from his stupidity (he is unfortunately the only black ref) as he hands out free pens to the opposition every game, and forces me to play with 10 men every other game. | Playing Fifa 21 makes me miss Fifa 18 so much Posted: 27 May 2021 06:37 AM PDT When everyone talks about their favourite fifa I never really hear about fifa 18. But playing fifa 21 makes me miss it even more. Long shots 30 yards outside the box, Being able to use any player and getting the most out them. I had 87 Morata and he destroyed people in the air and shooting! Skill moves that were actually fun instead of defying physics. Also the ability to actually dribble just with your left stick! Also the market crash due to the World Cup mode made 99% of players easily purchasable. Actual Icon SBCs. Just an actual fun game, even when losing you could enjoy. But now we have this bore of a fifa which just doesn't even evoke fun anymore. Did it have its flaws? Obviously, the meta was pace pace pace but that was it! You could cross, press, drop back and all were viable options. And most teams were different because you could use whoever you liked, instead of the carbon copy teams of fifa 21. Wonder if anyone agrees with my love of fifa 18? [link] [comments] |
