| PSA: Do the Born Legend and Rising Star segments for all icon SBC's Posted: 17 Jun 2021 12:21 PM PDT Even when you don't want to unlock the icons it's worth it to unlock these first 2 segments. You can easily build the bronze rare team for 11x150c and the silver for 11x250c and you get packs with plenty silver players that are currently worth more because of the Europe/Asia SBC's. I hadn't completed any of them so had a bunch that I could do (8 players) and I was quite lucky with 3 Finnish players and 2 Hungarians (literally 50k right there). But even with bad pulls worst case is you have a small profit I'd say, just takes a bit of time, but a good grind. In my case I just got all bronze and silver players from Allsvenskan and got rid of some useless untradeables to fill it out further. But most non-major leagues will do. [link] [comments] |

Read this Posted: 17 Jun 2021 11:49 AM PDT There were a few sbc's I was looking at completing like Gerard, Raul, Xavi, and a few upgrade packs, however after doing all the swaps packs I did icon packs just to get hierro and guardiola. So with absolutely no fodder, I thought hey, let me do some player picks. Only had enough to do 1. Did it and got lewandowski. So basically I had no fodder apart from Lewa. 5 hours later my account was filled with fodder, how? Objectives, milestone, Europe and Asia. Do them all in squad battles on beginner and semi pro difficulty, try to get as many done in one game as possible and just keep doing that. 4 to 5 hours later you'll be done. You'll have about 23 packs + anything you may get in the season progress. Open all the packs. You're guaranteed at least one walkout, a few 85s and a few 84s. With the minimal fodder you get from those packs do the 83+x10 and then the 82+x8. And then with any gold rare card in your club between the rating of 75-82 do player picks. You should be able to complete anywhere from 10 to 15 and you will get loads of fodder. If you ever need a tots or totw for an sbc do the totw upgrade thing. Yesterday I was struggling to make an 81 or 82 rated squad because all I had was a few non rares and loads of silvers, now I can make a 90 rated squad comfortably without having to submit anyone from my current lineup. So yeah, if you don't have fodder, those milestone objectives are worth it [link] [comments] |
| I'm really enjoying the Asia and Europe Milestone objectives Posted: 17 Jun 2021 07:31 AM PDT I didn't even realise they were a thing until I got the notification that I had completed the Belgium scorers one (Lukaku and De Bruyne in Rivals). After taking a look at the objectives I started playing a lot of silver friendlies. Playing with the likes of Burke (Scotland) up top with Oberlin (Switzerland). Al Kuwaykibi (Saudi Arabia) on one wing. Summerville (Netherlands) on the other. It's just a lot of fun playing with players I rarely use and not feeling like I'm grinding for specific "Score 15 goals from outside the box with a Spanish Goalkeeper whilst singing the French national anthem with 11 Bronze A-League players in your starting line up" objective. | 94 (hope 99) Verratti FOF - Review Posted: 17 Jun 2021 01:40 PM PDT pace: 8.5/10 - crazy quick and fast, noticeable especially when the player is attacking the box, a feature you should definitely consider to take advantage of by putting him on Get Forward and Get in the box for crosses. being that short, he is able to recover very fast on defense too. i mean, you expect a 165cm player to at least have an advantage on pace. shooting: 9/10 - actually wow. the fact that he has 90 finishing and 99 att. positioning is kind of crucial for this guy, because he does not seem to just occupy the role of a midfielder, instead he is a potential supportive attacker. this is why you can even play him at the CAM position. his finishing seems to be like the ones that icons and unique players have. no kidding. i felt his shooting to be very accurate and powerful, as he seems to have a feature where he is able to put the ball in the top opposite corner everytime. he scored 3 beautiful and difficult goals that honestly i can't even get with my strikers sometimes. wasn't able to take longshots (ahem) sadly. passing: 9/10 - i could even give him a 10 but we all know how passing is kind of limiting and limited in this game so it's not like you can exploit his very high stats at the maximum. he does what you would expect from almost 99 passing stats. dribbling: 9/10 - given the balance, composure and agility, he is able to keep the ball sticking to his feet as it was smooth bechamel making out with lasagna papers. left and right stick dribbling comes very easy with the short height. defense: 7.5/10 - potentially, he can be devastating on defense... but obviously the main problem is the height and the absence of unique Kanté-esque animations. you see, even if Kanté is just an inch taller than Verratti, he can still be very frightening to go against. defensively, i found Verratti even better than, for example, 93 Nainggolan, which was quite odd in this matter. he is not Kanté, but it's not like the height totally kills him. he is still very useful defensively, but he cannot be your main CDM, as he needs support from someone bigger than him, like Vidal for example. he still shows to be a defensive oriented player too, by the way. 7.5 can even be an 8.5 at times, it really depends on the situation, i suspect. physical: 7/10 - even if he has 99 aggression, i was not totally blown away, as i found other players to be more bulldog-y in this regard, (freeze Torreira, for example). nothing incredible to mention here. resume: for all i can say, he can even worth 500k for how unique he is. he feels like an icon in the sense that there aren't many players with these kind of animations, as i felt in my experience. honestly, i did not even find the height a huge issue given how he is able to compensate with his quality. being from italy, i always loved Verratti since his Pescara days, and being able to replicate his movements and short-spaced glue dribbling is a such a sensation [link] [comments] |

| EA Have Made a HUGE mistake... Posted: 17 Jun 2021 07:12 AM PDT All the recent sbc's require tots or an inform. These recent packs the 82x8 and 83x10 WOULD have been good value. However, with no tots or informs in packs for the next two weeks the inform/tots fodder market is skyrocketing to levels unseen before - the Jamaican in form goal keeper Blake hit his low of 14k 10 days ago, and today is selling as an 85 tots for 50k... I kid you not, 50k... nearly a 400% return on investment. With absolutely no supply of informs and tots out of packs of EA continue to require an IF or TOTS for there sbc's we're in for a content limited few weeks, sadly. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 17 Jun 2021 06:13 AM PDT As we near the end of the game cycle I thought I'd partake in a little experiment to try and find the best nation in fut. The rules being I will play 10 games comprising of a squad of players for each nation it is possible to get a starting 11 from. Once I have ran through I'll take any that have the same record and play alternate games with them until I have nation standing. Few caveats to note is that I started in division 1 with a skill rating of about 2100 which took a hit early on. Also I started this with about 300k coins and so I was bolstering squads to roughly this level. I don't have the best of the best players for 3ach nation or really any icons but I've done most objectives players throughout the year so I have pretty good squads. So for nations beginning with A it is only possible to get a squad for Albania, Algeria and Argentina, Australia and Austria. This post covers the first three of these. Albania up first and my god it was a struggle. A mix of bronze silver and gold players with very little pace trying to keep up with dembele, coutinho, mbappe etc was never going to happen. In 10 games I was hammered in 8 and narrowly lost the other 2 as corners were just unstoppable. Star man STRAKOSHKA who at times kept scores from getting too embarrassing. Next up Algeria. I purchased 89 uefa motm mahrez and had europa league atal in my club. I also brought in IF delort. Despite games being much closer I still struggled against the pace having mandi at the back. Also I'm not a player who likes to do too many skill moves so mahrez was slightly lost on me although he did score a couple of really nice volleys. All in all I finished my 10 game stint with Algeria with a record of 9 losses and 1 win which was a rage quit after I raced into a 2-0 lead. Star man DELORT who either scored or assisted nearly every goal and bagged both goals in my solitary win. After 19 losses and 1 win my skill rating had plummeted and I was feeling confident in my chances with the next nation of Argentina. As I mentioned I dont have many of the god tier players or icons ala Maradona or Messi but I did have dybala, benedetto, correa, lanzini, pastore. I used my coins to bring in tots otamendi, tots romero and libertadores totgs chancalay. Boy this team was a lot of fun to use and even my weak link of rulli in goal was making some quality saves. I rounded off my world tour A edition with a record of 7 wins 2 draws and 1 loss. Star man moments DYBALA although there was plenty of candidates and the goals and assists were shared around the team, he scored a couple of game winning goals and was all round a delight to use. | Best place to dump fodder right now? Posted: 17 Jun 2021 10:24 AM PDT I'm looking to open packs for the endorphins, but I'm sitting on dupe 90/87/85 players with no quick sell recovery. Gotze and Jota don't fit my squad, and the path to glory upgrade seems like a trap. Not really looking to start a premier icon either.
