I've only just got round to trying this deliberate abuse of momentum and I have to say it's the most de-stressing experience of fifa online I've ever had. I've only tried it 3 times in div 2 but with huge success, here are screens of my first 2 games in which I won both (drew the 3rd)

    I won with 8% and 15% possession at half time

    I recommend you read the original post, but I simplified it by just max power booting it down the middle of the pitch every time I touched it and focused entirely on defending while trying to get my pass accuracy as low as physically possible.

    I have never had so much fun purely because after 45 mintues of focus, you can mess around and do whatever you want, and the game will actually do it. All your skill moves, passes, shots, pace everything will work better, and your opponent will finish the game with >70% possession so he will be misplacing passes and shots for the entire half.

    The highlights for me were Sissoko scoring a 30 yard screamer with his left foot, Ramos absolutely rinsing Mbappe for pace multiple times in one game, and auto blocking about 5 shots in a row until a guy ragequit.

    It's not beautiful football, but it's fifa the way EA wants it to be played, so cheers u/ruho6000 for making fifa hilarious again

    I'm good but not great at the game, last week I got Gold 1 in futchamps. But I really enjoy playing it. I obviously don't think the game is realistic, and I know the goals are all quite similar(passes into the box/cutbacks) and creativity is not really rewarded, but I just love the game. When I lose in futchamps, I rarely rage now, I just accept that the other person is better than me and I look to how I can improve. I get as much BS in my favour as my opponent does, so I just can't complain.

    I wish rewards were better and that I'd feel rewarding for playing well (82 red picks) etc, but overall I love the game

    Even squad battles can make your players feel like there is delay

    So about half the games I play online are unbearable due to it feeling like there is a delay, but when I checked the quality report tool there was no difference in the quality between those games so there is more at play. I only play during the day when there is a good connection ~98 score.

    I played a few squad battles and for the most part the delay was not there as you would expect. I tried on ultimate difficulty against a very low rated squad with low chem, beat them, but the same frustrating feeling of your players having no reactions and stuck in mud, poor passing etc kicked in, off-line... it was a lot more noticeable after half time

    It sucks that squad battles affects your players abilities instead of just juicing up the opposition, and even worse that this happens online too..

    to add on If You win sometimes,Your mood can be so good and you feel like you're so good at the game. But when you lose like 5 games in a row, Your entire day changes. but here is the thing. You have excuses such as delay,scripting ruined your game and made you lose, but When you're winning you don't say that kind of stuff.

    Playing of the high pressure, keep the ball in the team. Oh a centerback out of position? Time to use a one-two pass. Through on goal gotta be a goal now. Nah, Joe Gomez that were nowhere to see suddenly appears for a great block. Shame I did not stop and wait for him, do 10 stepovers followed by an elastico... Only way you can hit Elite+ this years by the looks of it.

    SBC BABY VAN DER SAAR APPRECIATION POST

    Well to keep things short - I did the SBC. I just wanted to have a good goalkeeper and sort this position until Oct/2021.

    It was quite a risk for 300k but it was worth it. He is doing great saves, he's blocking those far post crosses and managing to do multiple saves in a row. He won me some games this WL - I'm not a good player but the limited time I get to play fifa at weekends he really spiced up my experience 👍🏻

    Sure he got chipped by 84 Yedder inside the box, nutmegged by Adama but seeing him play in my team again makes me feel a big joy! He's a legend - thanks EA.

    There's a 25% discount of annual renewals for PS plus subscription ending on 1st December.

    If you're on auto renewal this discount won't be applied so you need to cancel the renewal and manually renew it through the PS store.

    I can forgive EA for blatantly mugging us all off with crap overpriced SBC's. Ruining league SBCs. Atrocious un tradeable rewards etc. IF the game actually worked. THE GAME DOES NOT WORK. Been trying to play a handful of games today, its not possible. You can play if you like your players to not respond, to freeze, to speed up. If you want to play a rubbish guessing game of WTAF is going on and going to happen next.

    We should create another class action suit against EA for a refund for a game not fit for purpose. i've always been fairly relaxed about this sheet in the past, I think the difference now is that they are scummily mugging us in too many areas.

    Utter bag of balls company.
