    Best player to buy for a non skiller?

    I can't skill. Not even a little bit. Been playing Fifa since 2008, and I'm too old and cranky to learn new things. I hate paying a premium for cards with 5* skills cause I never use it. What player is fun to use purely because of them? Have about 3.5 mil.

    His price dropped nearly 300k within hours and I don't understand. I get the new Thiago card plays a role but a drop like this doesn't really make sense to me. Thoughts?

    Edit: I also want to add that his drop in price happened AFTER his upgrade. He was hovering around 1 mill early today but once the upgrade rolled out everything changed

    EOEA Ramos decision

    To begin from the start: My friend and I had both the necessary fodder to do Ramos almost for free. After days of review searching in Reddit, FIFA Forums and Futbin comments we decided to do the simplest thing. Try both.

    My friend completed the 98 rated CB and I did the 96 rated RB (suited better to link him with untradeable TOTS Vazquez).

    Each of us used each Ramos for 30 games. That means I used my 96 rated one for 30 games and his 98 rated one for 30 games too and vice versa. To make it clear: we used both Ramos for 120 games, 60 games each. From those 60 games:
    - 20 games as CB - 20 games as RB - 20 games as CM (stay back + cover center)

    At the end we came to the same conclusions:

    98 rated Ramos: - better suited as CB or CM/CDM but not RB

    • felt stronger and more aggressive than the 96 rated one

    • he won more headers and scored more corner kick goals

    96 rated Ramos: - he delivered in every position we used him, especially as CB and I will tell you why

    • feels faster than the 98 rated one

    • his passing is way more accurate (and that helps when your opponent uses „constant pressure"). Long pass, short pass it doesn't matter. His passing accuracy was at least 95% after every game we used him

    • he recovers more ground (and faster) if he finds himself out of position or after a successful bridge/directional nutmeg

    All in all, both Ramos are endgame cards and it depends on how you defend to take the best of each card. My friend was happy with his 98 rated one because he doesn't defend aggressively. I am exact the opposite so the 96 rated one is a bless for me.

    It's not worth using Shadow on him anymore IMO. Anchor does give him 99 strength but I don't think 92 strength is a huge downgrade on that stat in-game, at least nothing that you would actually tangibly feel the difference between.

    But Engine gives him near maxed out pace and gives him INSANE agility and dribbling for a CB. 92 agility, 95 balance, 99 dribbling. Damn. That recovery jockeying speed and dribbling ability out of the back.

    With the potential of Paredes being 5* 5* it seems like a waste to have him at RB but is there any midfielders from either La Liga, PL or Ligue 1 that could play RB? I probably can't afford Acuna either
