    Hey FIFA Fans,

    The latest Title Update for FIFA 20 is now available on PC, and will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date.

    Gameplay (General):

    Made the following changes: Increased the effectiveness of shots taken 15.24 meters/50 feet or closer to the target. These shots will now be less likely to be impacted by error. The impact of ball velocity and vertical ball velocity on all types of shots inside the box has been reduced. The target, in this context, is the exact location of where the ball is expected to go, determined through a mixture of directional input, and the Shooting Assistance setting. This change is intended to bring shooting closer in-line with how it is portrayed on the real-life pitch. Improved accuracy of Ground Passes when performed in easy passing situations. An easy passing situation generally occurs when there is no pressure or interference from the defending team, and when the pass is performed at a reasonable angle and distance. This change does not impact Through Passes and Lobbed Passes. Increased the speed of Ground Passes performed during Goal Kicks, Free Kicks, and Corner Kicks. Penalty Takers will no longer move their heads once the Shoot action is performed. The Penalty Taker's head will lock to the middle once the run-up begins. This change does not affect the ability to continue aiming the kick during the run-up.

    Addressed the following issues: Instances of a user-controlled player not being able to manually Player Switch to a different player during a Standing Tackle action. This issue was affecting Player Switching with the Right Stick and the Player Switch button. The camera was sometimes taking too long to transition during Goal Kicks and Corner Kicks. Slightly increased the impact of high Attributes on error reduction for certain regular shot situations, such as high powered and under pressure shots. The change impact all shots, including Finesse and Chip shots.

    FUT:

    Made the following changes: Added a Matches Played counter on the Squad Battles Opponent Select screen. This Matches Played counter tracks the first 40 played and/or skipped weekly competition matches. Once all 40 weekly competition matches have been played or skipped, any further matches played in Squad Battles will not have any impact on the Weekly Score until the next Squad Battles competition begins.

    Addressed the following issues: The UI and Player Items were sometimes loading in at different times during kit selection. An incorrect FUT Champions Rank Crest was sometimes displaying on the FUT Online tab and FUT Hub. This was a visual issue only.

    Career Mode:

    Addressed the following issues: Visual corruption when opening the action list in the Squad HUB after exiting the contract negotiation scene in some situations.

    VOLTA FOOTBALL:

    Addressed the following issues: The Team Management screen was inaccessible during Kick-Off VOLTA FOOTBALL Survival matches. After scoring a goal, the scorer's name was sometimes not displaying during a kick-off. Update to the Open Winter FC Windbreaker Jacket not displaying on the Avatar in VOLTA FOOTBALL.

    Kick Off:

    Addressed the following issues: Live Form arrows were not displaying in Team Management prior to a match.

    General:

    Addressed the following issues: Visual corruption when entering, exiting, and re-entering Team Management, from the Pause Menu, during a match.

    Visuals:

    Made the following changes: Added 29 new Star Heads. These will only be available following a server update. Please follow @EASPORTSFIFA for updates on when this will be live in-game. Updates to multiple stadiums, badges, shoes, balls, ad boards, and kits. Updates to some of the broadcast packages.

    Thanks to those who've provided feedback. Throughout the course of the FIFA 20 season we'll provide you with more information and updates if and when they become available.

    When there's little delay, I quite enjoy WL gameplay. But Rivals... It feels scripted all the way more than Champs. It really makes me mad

    1. You're at the edge of the box. You pressed shoot. Your player didn't shoot, he just took an extra touch and got tackled. You're now going to concede on the counter attack.

    2. You're in the midfield. You pressed pass. Rather than pass, your player takes an extra touch. Even though you specifically wanted to do a first time pass, because you knew you didn't have enough time to take a touch. You get tackled and you concede on the counter attack.

    3. You attempt a simple pass. Rather than just doing this, your player forgets what team he's on and just passes the ball to the other team. You say, either out loud or in your head "Not what I told you to do, again, fantastic..." You concede a goal on the break.

    The Frank Lampard disrespect

    How on earth is Frank Lampard in his PRIME the same rating as Pep Guardiola and Deco, and worse than both Scholes and Gerrard. And that's only regarding midfield players.

    His goalscoring ability was unmatched by anyone in his position and his presence on both ends of the pitch was unmistakable.

    His trophy cabinet speaks for itself while captaining a champions league winning side. What has he done to deserve this disrespect by EA?

    Ever since EA started doing objectives in Rivals the level of players in DIV5 and now DIV6 seems to increase by the day.

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank EA and the players who I am now facing on a daily basis.

    To play and admire the skill level way above mine is the way to become better so they say.

    Being outplayed time and time again with my main Neymar Squad and seeing VVD tumbling around like my 10 month old is really educating, especially with their objective teams.

    My level is rising and rising so maybe one day I will be able to put it to use when the objectives are over.

    I can't wait. Thanks you EA and thank you Elite DIV6 players.

    My Top 5 Defending Tips - NealGuides - Improve your Defensive Ability!

    Hey, Whats going on guys!

    Anyway I saw that some people are having troubles, I found that many are struggling defensively, so I thought I will just give you some simple tips that wont force you to change the "way you play".

    1. If you are struggling defensively, esp to close out a game, use a formation like 4231 with 2 CDMs, put both on (Cut Passing Lanes, Cover Centre) but have one on "stay back while attacking" and the other one on "drop between defenders" - As one CDM drops in between, just in front of your two CB almost making a back 5, you can be aggressive with the CDM on "stay back while attacking" who is further and still have a person to cover your back line before you push anyone out of position and create a hole.
    2. Use running jockey (fast jockey) by holding L2 + R2 [XBOX: LT + RT], let go of that contain button start using this all the time when defending, you can still press X/A to tackle when you are near someone but use this instead of just holding contain and manually position yourself DEFENDING the goal.
    3. Disable Auto Switching for player switching and use Airballs. Then use your CDMs to defend first, if your CDM is available and is near to the ball select him, then try to run back with your CDM to tackle your opponent, as you can afford to move him out of position.
    4. Do not select your back line and run out crazy with them, I see this a lot, try using running jockey and hold your line, sometimes run back towards goal, if my opponent ever has a 1v1 on a counter attack, I always run back towards goal in the middle and this way to delay my opponent and wait for my team to reinforce/backup.
    5. Do not try to move your player to defend where your opponent is, move to defend where the player is going to be. Same with cutting passing lanes, predict where the opponent is going to pass to or going to pass into, not where the player is. Bonus tip: If a through ball or something else is being played, try to select the player and block the central position towards goal, note which player your opponent has selected and understand which foot they are, so you know which foot to force them on.

    On that note, please get rid of players below 70 pace in defence, I see this a lot, if you are going to use someone with 60 pace, at the very least please use a shadow. Its not about "pace OP", just think that your CB is going to be defending against fast strikers, why would you want someone slow? Faster CB > Cover More Distance/Decovery Quicker
    Unless you want to play Hummels because you are a Dortmund Fan.

    He has been a popular player in FIFA for years especially for ppl running Serie A squad.

    EA even has his rating increased to 85 this year but still doesn't have a face scan for him in game
