    Don't play it, seriously, your mental health is much more precious than a stupid competition that doesn't even reward you that much for the stress it induces.

    People take the weekend league too seriously to the point they smash controllers and monitors and all kind of expensive devices, but mostly they don't even enjoy their rest days ( weekends ) and replace them with stress, this will burn out your mental health, take care.

    That or raise the price cap to 6k or 7k. We shouldnt have to sit on the market for any extended period of time trying to snipe one.

    Could even make the SBC 11 gold rares to account for potential use of untradeables to complete it. 6600 coins of quick sell value keeps coins coming off the market, and the +1600 premium to market price would be worth it to have one of these two chem styles on demand.

    Just played against someone who messaged me, in exchange for letting him score with serie A players i'd get the win. I dont have a serie A team but i thought, sure why not. So during the match i'd let him score, he'd let me score. Then, after all his players had scored and the match was 14-14 he went full on attack and tried to secure te win. I ended beating him 15-14. However, this is the first and last time i'm gonna help someone with an objective.

    First experience of WL was probably my worst gaming experience to date

    I just went 4-26.

    Im not an awful player, float between Div 5 and 6 in rivals.

    My god the WL is a different animal. Every game felt like I was playing against PSG whilst I used Rochdale 😂

    What an utterly demoralising experience and waste of time considering the rewards for Bronze 1 lmao

    Edit: Alot of people have been offering advice. To save me answering all individually.. 1) I think I suck at defending. When attacking the opponent seems to close me down in no time. I barely have time to pick a pass sometimes.My defenders seem to watch their players just run by, and they have so much space. Particularly just outside the area.

    2) I'd say 50% of my tackles the opponent seems to somehow keep the ball. Leaving my player stranded.

    3) I seem to have my passes intercepted a lot. My players never seem to do this.

    4) I get a lot of 1v1 situations. Since the last patch I can't finish them for shit.

    Extremely slow gameplay

    Are anyone else's matches feeling so slow with such poor input delay, I've had the odd game through out every Fifa that is so slow and Almost unplayable but game after game Im experiencing actual unplayable input delay and slowness that is costing me goals as I can't move my players fast enough to defend or put an attack together it's almost a second or two delay. Is this connection based? I have fairly decent internet that has absolutely zero connection/lag problems on other games. Is there anyway I can fix this?

    87 POLITANO review / all you need to know

    So i was out of town for a few days and before my flight today decided to stay at a friend and realised i had no sleep at all so i went on his ps and decided to do the objectives just because i had time and i wanted to pack scream cards. Getting the objective is pretty simple i just went into games and matched up against 4 people that were going 11 seperate serie a players 2 other people decided to help me and i gave away wins so it took around 2-2.5 hours to complete him. Nothing worth mentioning in the packs other than SMS and ucl cuadrado so it did not help other than stacking my club.

    Before politano my team was 41212 narrow : mane storyline zaha upfront , sterling at cam ; kdb firmino and guardiola in center ; semedo walker pique scream and militao at the back. Kind of a mid tier meta team im using around 1900 elo and i ussualy finish around 22-25 so most of the players i came up against are relativly good players. When i checked sterlings stats it seemed like politano with 3wf so i sold him and walker to get florenzi/politano into the team. Florenzi is not the best for sure but "spoiler alert" i will probably go for zambrotta to link politano.

    Pref pos :

    You can play him as a winger or a striker but you should be using him at cam for max efficency. Biggest issue about all the small cams like mertens and messi they all have low stamina so they are probably dead around 70mins. Politano can run all game long and still go strong. Like i said you can play him anywhere but cam is by far my favourite.

    Pace : 9/10 He is pretty much like messi and mertens. Quickly explodes and if you go for a nice through ball hes gone. On the ball you dont feel he is slowing down and thats why you should play him as cam. Play simple one twos and draw defenders and when he makes the run you pull the trigger.

    Dribbling : 10/10 Holy fuck. If you dont have a messi on your right side you wont get anyone better. L1 dribbling , quick turns, opening up for shots or exiting skill moves, he can do it all in an instance. Really high agi and balace help him recover and turn quickly. But i still used a chem style to boost his dribbling because his actuall dribbling stat is lower than 90. Which is far more imporant than pace or strenght.

    Passing : 8.5/10 All im gonna say is he gets the job done. Has really good curve and overall passing. If you wanna do anything simple he will do it, if you try hard long passes and deep through balls he succeeds %80 of the time. Great playmaker and a number 10.

    Shooting : 9/10 Way better than expected. He feels like a lowered version of messi. You see people complain about new patch destroyed long shots ? Well either they are lying or this guy plays fifa 19. Scores every finesse shot, near post shots and easily opens up his body for far post finesse finishes. Combined with his insane dribbling he is lethal in front of goal and having 4 star weak foot helps inside the box. Havent tried hitting weak footed long shots so im giving him a 9 point out of 10 , just because there are players like son or messi that scores almost everything.

    Defending and physical : 5/10 He has no defending or power to bully people, he cant head the ball but even prime r9 cant do it so it doesnt matter. He has high stamina so you can chase people when pressing upfront. And because that he is quick to turn you can apply good pressure. Agi / balance stats help him to stay on his feet when bullied so he is not that bad but if he had around 70-80 strenght he would be out of this world.

    So if you ask me do i like him? He made me play this game far better because he fits my style so much. Im having so much fun with this card after trying likes of raul and zola having him for free is just mind blowing. He is a game changer and you would have to pay over 300k at least for a player of his quality. Only downside is my kdb playing at 8 and im forced to use florenzi which is kinda meh while likes of walker goes for 60-70k. He has 21 goals and 15 assists in 15 games despite my opponents rage quited around 9-10 times. All played in Wl and i suggest you get him asap. Im using a sniper chem style on him to boost is finishing and dribbling to max. If you like small and well rounded atackers he is your guy and he wont dissapoint. Hope it helps you to decide if you grind for him or not. Credit to ea for such a cool objective as well i hope for some more.     TLDR : he is perfect and if you wanted to buy someone like it will cost at least 300k+. You should get him

    50 Game Roberto Carlos (86) Review

    Hi all,

    I unlocked 86 Roberto Carlos from Icon Swaps a couple weeks ago and decided to type up a review. I settled on 50 games as the cut off point before I wrote the review. Maybe it is a little overkill, but I really felt like 50 games would allow me to try him out in different formations/tactics against a variety of teams across all online modes. Plus, I can remove some of the bias and emotion out of it as I feel like a lot of the reviews rating players highly are due to people still being in the honeymoon phase with the card. Overall, the grind wasn't too bad and I got a player who I feel like is pretty unique in the game. To the review we go:

    I played him primarily in LB in a 4 at the back formation, but would switch to 352 on occasion where Carlos would be the LM. All 50 games with Anchor chem style.

    ​

    Pros

    1. Dribbling- I think this is his best attribute by far. The in-game model and the quickness in which you can LS dribble makes him a threat to weave in an out from the wings. If you are good with the L1 dribbling and breaking in and out of it, this is someone you would love using.
    2. Pace- The 94 acceleration helps in switching from defense to attack in an instant. I played Roberto on balanced most games and would notice him flying down to wings after I had won the ball back. The opponent has a hard time covering this as his players are usually out of position. I've started many attacks through him and it has definitely helped with my wing play.
    3. Defense- Though an attack minded player, Robert is a very good defender as well. As good as he is at starting the counters, he is equally good at shutting them down. The quickness and agility combined with solid defensive stats mean he is quick to loose balls and to close the gap on an attacker. I've had many opponents try to speed boost past Rob but he closes the gap quickly.
    4. Free Kicks- Pretty obvious. I have found myself going for goal more often now with Bobby C. Might not always be the best choice, but it has definitely made it fun for me to try to score from ridiculous distances. If you are someone who is actually good with FKs, you will get a lot out of him.
    5. Strong link to Paulinho- If you are a Paulinho Truther like me, this is a no brainer.

    Cons

    1. Physical- If the crossing nonsense from last year ever comes back, you are toast. Bob can get bullied easily and is a liability against strong attackers.
    2. Defensive Position- This is probably due to my own doings, but many a times I found Chuck to be out of position and leaving the left side wide open. You could avoid this by putting him on stay back and being conservative with your build-up, but that kinda takes the fun out of using the card.
    3. Weak Foot- I feel like I think too much about his WF and end up loosing the ball as I hold onto it too long to get it on his left. I never try anything but a regular A pass with his WF and only if it is a short distance to my teammate. I loved Mendy and Atal last year due to their 5* WF, and I still use NIF Atal on my main team, so having to worry about WF on my fullbacks has been a bit annoying.
    4. Hair- Unplayable.

    Verdict- My rating doesn't really matter all things considered. These always seem random and arbitrary, so I will give Roberto Carlos a 3.75/5 stars.

    Conclusion

    Quick backstory regarding my FIFA playing level. I would rate myself as a D2, Gold 2 player, and I have been at this level for the last 3 FIFAs. I find myself having less time to play the game, so I have made it an effort to be more aggressive in my trading in order to get coins and try out different players. I think the Icon Swaps is good for someone like me. I was able to go about this at my own pace and get a 500k player that I normally would not prioritize. He fits with my style of play, and there is the some nostalgia in using him. If you are someone who grinds the game hardcore and plays Fut Champs every week,this may be a card someone you outgrow pretty quickly and be better off picking Ferdinand or Zanetti. I also think someone like Alba can give you the same things as Carlos if he picks up a couple informs. All in all , I am glad I picked Carlos, he is gonna be on my team for quite some time and will give me the strong link to Neymar.

    Storyline Politano Cheesing

    This isn't me bashing people cheesing this objective, do whatever you want. I think there should be a game mode outside of rivals to complete objectives like this anyway.

    But the FIFA community should not be surprised when EA make the next milestones player require goals during Rivals wins to counteract how quickly Politano is being completed. What do you guys think?

    Road to glory - Senegal: Week 5 "I finally reached DIV 6, but update is threatening to drag me down again"

    So this week is special for two reasons: 1st - as title indicates I finally became mediocre and reached 6th division, 2nd - i finally can submit the same squad that I did last week, because I haven't changed anything. Here it is: https://imgur.com/a/7AF4tGB. I cannot reach the exact numbers right now, but my record is around 67 wins and 71 defeat (last week's record was 57-26-62).

    Everything would be splendid, but since last update I won one game and lost 3 of them. Again, this stuff happened again, but my drop back tactics will definitely be challenged right now. For those being dissapointed of me having drop back + fast build up tactics remember that I am playng 70ish speed, 2 meters tall CB Pape Abou Cisse as my Full back, also I have no midfielder with >75 passing or >70 long shooting. So far it's the only way I can play. But I'm not being desperate, I like gameplay after update, had some super interesting games and I'm looking forward into adjusting to the change of gameplay.

    Theme of my FUT life right now is Sadio Mane. I have already 300k accumulated and I'm quite certain I'll have Sadio Mane as my main striker. Most likely option to be replaced will be Amath Ndiaye, but this dude was my best player this week. I think I've already said it, but he feels like west coast Eden Hazard. So smooth, fluid and scarppy, just sucks at finishing. Other option I could drop is K. Diatta. But I seriously doubt that Ndiaye could play at CM as admirably as Diatta does. Some serious decisions is comming along.

    People always say's that I'll soon be short of ideas how to upgrade my squad. But so far I'm just short of money. I have two legionnaires comming along. Leroy Sane and Claude Makelele. Leroy is a son of a Senegalese NT player, so he's sort of legit, but Makelele has no connection with Senegal. He was born in congo, but his RM card is too perfect for my squad and I'm gonna buy him eventually. Sane on the oher hand has to be bouht quikly, because i need his PL card for chemistry to work and he's going to be bought by bayern quickly. That's it for the week. Sorry for the mistakes, I'm typing this on laggy pc on my work computer who has only internet explorer on. So no autocorrect.

    Edit: Some feedback got me thinking and as I though more and more I think this year I won't touch Makelele. I'll just hope that Kouyate will score a banger and will receive an IF card.
