Both teams are just passing the most innacurate shit, sometimes exchanging possesion 5 times in 30 seconds. Tackling is just random. Sometimes Varane decides to go between the ball and the striker, sometimes Martial tackled their striker from behind with a perfect challenge. Sometimes your AI presses the shit out of them and you are pelting the opponent with shot after shot, the same game their AI presses the shit out of you and you can barely string 2 pases together. Shooting, oh shooting. Sometimes every shot goes in, but most of the time you have a wide open shot in the box and your ronaldo can't even put it on target. I am having the best WL ever, 11-3 but god damn this game feels so random and shitty. [link] [comments] |
| this game is adjusting to noobs with every patch Posted: 03 Nov 2019 08:33 AM PST once again, you play demo it feels great. then you actually open the full game, few things changed but it still feels new and great! suddenly you need to defend yourself and not rely on AI. however with every other patch, it feels like EA just wants to lower that little skillgap they created. they say Strikers set to Come Back On Defense Player Instructions will not join the midfield defensive line if it already consists of the maximum allowed players. yeah, who needs a striker to comeback when you already have your 2 CDM's playing almost like a CB, while your opponent just chases you down with Rashford. they say Increased the likelihood of shots going off-target when taken from 45 feet, or further, from the target. this is 13 meters, just near the penalty spot. and like AI blocks were not enough, now your finesse shots are flying to the 43rd row. no matter if its Thierry Henry. I've found this to be an issue primarily in FUT Champs, though Rivals isn't much better. | Div 6 Player - First WL Review Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:01 PM PST Saw someone do one of these, got inspired. Been playing Fifa since around Fifa 15, pretty casually, but this weekend I had the opportunity to play my first weekend league. I attribute the fact that I was able to play so many games of fifa this weekend to the amount of painkillers I'm currently on due to an infection, lol - seriously, it was really tough to churn out 25+ games, kudos to those that can do it consistently, it's a real skill. Anyway, here's my squad: https://www.futbin.com/20/squad/10467120 Backstory: I've had a PL squad since the beginning of FIFA 20, got bored of them, so decided for this experience I would try out a brand new squad. It had it's ups and downs, but I would ultimately say I enjoyed this squad. despite the fact that every member of my team felt like they 40 phys and got pushed off the ball like toddlers every time they got down the front line, would recommend. Notable Stats: Dybala: 14 goals, 27 assists Mertens: 29 goals, 7 assists Gomez: 14 goals, 8 assists Hulk (super sub): 15 goals, 3 assists Laxalt: 6 goals, 2 assists Handanovic: 0 clean sheets (fuck this guy) MVP: Dybala was certainly involved more often but man, Mertens was a real treat to play with. That guy takes off with almost every opportunity he's given. Don't get me wrong, if anyone catches him, he goes down and takes a year to get back up, but when they don't catch up, phew that guy can run. Dybala's passing was also consistently ridiculously good, so feeding to Mertens was always easy. Definitely recommend those two up front, just maybe someone stronger at the CAM. Special shoutout to Scream Hulk for consistently scoring everytime he went in, that dude is a monster. I swear you can't take the ball from him unless you have two defenders on him, what a card Biggest Letdowns: oh boy where do i begin, despite a fairly decent result there were a lot of these. First and foremost this motherfucker giorgio chiellini absolutely can just not keep up with anybody. 60 minutes on the pitch and he starts to look like he's come from a nursing home, looks absolutely pathetic compared to anybody with over 80 pace trying to get down the pitch. would not recommend this clunker to anybody Laxalt was an absentee player, half the time i forget he's on my team. have no idea where he's fucked off too half the time but occasionally he would speed down the center line and score. good for him, but i swear he wasn't on the pitch for half the games i played. decent when he showed up i suppose Handanovic was probably the most hot and cold goalkeeper i've ever used in fifa. half the time he sits there watching balls go through his legs and the other half he's got 4 legs speeding to the other side of the net faster than i've ever seen. unreal when he wants to be, which wasn't often Medel has a phenomenal card for a CDM, but man this guy got bullied every match i played him in. that 83 strength is a flatout lie, i saw dybala push him off the ball, which is a real fucking surprise considering mine gets pushed off the ball by a wrongly timed gust of wind. anyway don't get this guy if you're looking for strength, even matuidi faired better than him Summary: My first WL definitely taught me a lot about attrition. I played several games where I went up 2 or 3 in the first half and the other person left. I also played several games where I was down 2 at the half and made the comeback. Also played games where i just got utterly destroyed, several actually. But playing so many games in succession really made me solidify my mentality and not get tilted when things weren't going my way, definitely an important skill to have in WL it seems. I ended up with a final record of 14-14, I believe. I decided to forego the last two games because it wasn't going to change my rewards and I just didn't have the energy to finish up the last two. Would say overall that I had a good time. Did not enjoy the people I played that wanted to watch every second of every replay and do all of the worst celebrations. We're all in the same boat trying to get these games out of the way, wish we could just get it by quicker - cheers to those that skipped with me though!
