    I spoke with a human in the call center for 27 minutes just now. They took a deep dive into my transaction history and said it may have been because I was too active in the transfer market, even though I told them I typically only bought bronze packs on my phone app during my commute.

    She mentioned several players I had bought and sold, including common players and specifically some 49s and 72s (if I remember correctly). She said there didn't appear to be anything suspicious, other than buying a player and listing them in the same minute.

    She looked at my login history and said someone had tried to access it from a different country but they they were unable to log in since I had the two-step verification.

    She is escalating the complaint back to the account team, although she doesn't have a timeframe since it's a different department. I also asked her a couple times if she could email me my transaction record and she said at the end of the call she would do that after the call has ended.

    Last Wednesday, EA emailed me to say I had broke their terms of service by coin selling/buying/distributing.

    I knew I had done nothing wrong so I emailed them to tell them exactly what I had done on my account in the past day or two and to ask them to review the transaction logs.

    Today, eight days later, they emailed back to say they had reviewed my account and determined their original decision was correct. They still didn't tell me what I supposedly did to get the coins wiped or what I could have done to prevent it. Another user in here said if it happens a second rime (whatever 'it' is) then I'll be permanently banned from the market.

    They never sent me any copy of the transaction log so I still don't know for certain what triggered it. But if it is as something as dumb as one player buying a handful of my cards totally out of my control then that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Do you think that it was because the same account bought some of my cards that I had relisted through the app?

    Here's my email to them.

    "I have not done anything that can even remotely be considered in violation of your rules. Over the past week or so, I have typically opened bronze packs, the occasional silver pack and any packs I have earned from Flash SBCs and maybe a League SBC or two. Again, you can check this to see for yourself.

    Yesterday I bought nine or 10 Eder Militao cards with a shadow chem style already applied. I think I bought them on bid for around 8,300 - 8,500 each. You can verify this. I listed them all up a couple times for about 9,000 bid and 9,800 buy now, since there were not too many on the market and I expected prices to rise a little over the next few days as Weekend League approached. They did not sell after two or three tries, so I lowered the price to around 8,700 bid and 9,300-9,400 buy now. You can also verify this. After my last set of listings, they sold. I think after tax, I probably earned about 500 coins on each card. Everything else I sold over the past couple days would have been primarily smaller value items, with maybe the exception of someone like a Manzukic. You will also be able to verify this with your records.

    I have no idea who purchased any of my cards, but it was not planned with anybody and it certain wasn't from a second account I own. Please take the time to look at IP addresses or usernames and I know you will see this, too."

    TLDR: I'm salty about this whole thing. Even if you play by their rules, try to make a tiny amount of coins and respectfully ask them to investigate your account, you're never safe from the EA ban hammer.

    seeing so many youtubers like MattHD starting to vote for their TOTY based on who they think would be good in game makes me so mad, especially seeing how big of a crowd they'll be influencing. why can't we go a second without focussing on meta cards and shit and just enjoy football?

    I know a majority of people wont vote for him because he isnt 'meta' in this game, but he has been my favourite ST since FIFA 14 when I used to use him and reus up top, and even now his TOTGS is a monster. Its a shame that this toty isnt decided by real life performances, because I cant think of any attacker (except Messi and Mbappe) that deserves it more than him. :( sad times

    EDIT: I'd like to clarify, I think at his best he's an elite level footballer but this year he's been very average, plus injured for a large amount of it

    Every Weekend League rewards I seem to see the same arguments constantly popping up. I'm going to go through the majority of the usual suspect takes and explain why they're terrible.

    1. Silver 1 & Gold 3 players shouldn't be getting better rewards than Elite players, that's unfair"

    Yes it would be, if they were.... but they AREN'T (in general). Its just percentages, they're more people getting Silver 1 & Gold 3 than Elite, since the rewards are random of course its going to happen SOMEONE gets better, they are exceptions not the rule. If 5000 people (for example) play WL and 3500 are S1 and G3 While only 150 are Elite 1,2 & 3, maybe 25-50 S1 & G3 will outdo the Elites, you're just going to ignore the 3000+ you did get better than to make up a narrative??

    2) "Well just boast the rewards for Elite Players so we get better cards/packs and cap the lower ranks"

    Sounds good until you use an once of Discernment. So the elite players will get elite cards, that keep them elite players so they get more el... you see the problem here right?? At what point does it just become the hypothetical rich country club house no one else can get into. What happens if a player drastically improve and maybe is a few cards away from making a legit push, what about the players who get a good card they can sell to boast their teams, all of that gone so basically the rich can say rich??? yhhhhhhhh thats a no

    3) "So what about my grind huh?"

    lool lets be real what grind, you (just like me and most of us on the sub or who watch youtubers/pro players etc etc) who looks for ways to take advantage of broken game mechanics regularly waltz right through the first 10-15 matches, the "grind" you're talking about is playing against people who do the exact things you do?? So What makes you're "grind" more respectable than the person who has to use all 30 games to maybe make those lower ranks (As they seems to be this myth everyone is just casually getting 11-0 OR 14-0 and just stopping), they also deserve the chance at something

    4) "It should be some kind of Meritocracy or something"

    LOL no, This isn't university entry requirements, WL is basically lootboxes, equivalent to playing the lottery, the only thing people are playing for is the amount of times you can play the lottery and that's it, you don't "deserve" anything, its not that type of game mode

    SO SOLUTIONS THEN. I propose a Token system, every TOTW card will have a token value (Eg TOTW Mbappe is 15 Tokens or CF Depay is 8) you will either have a choice, do the random player picks OR you're the amount of players pick you get will be converted into Tokens and you can save up for the cards you want (the obvious downside is you lose the chance are having multiple reds and even getting whatever you wanted plus extra)

    UCL/UEL Live Card Upgrades

    Below is a table I created containing all the UCL and UEL RTTF cards and whether they will be upgraded or not. Note that the bold items are TBD as all games have not been played.

    If a player's UCL card is changed to a UEL card, they will not receive an upgrade for simply becoming a UEL card, but will receive an upgrade if their team wins their first knockout game.

    If a player transfers team, they will only continue to receive upgrades if the new team participates in the UCL/UEL. It is unknown whether the team on the card will change if they player transfers.
