    [Guide] Most efficient way to complete SBCs

    I've been meaning to write this guide for a while and with Messi POTM, EPL POTM and Futmas just around the corner I figured now would be a good time.

    The key to this is using the SBC Brute Force tool. This tool is incredibly useful as you can enter the ratings of players you already have (perhaps untradeable), and then it will tell you the ratings of players needed in order to achieve the desired target. This is made even more useful when plumbing in values from Futbin here.

    Example: Say I wanted to do the 84 rated team for Benzema, which needs a Madrid player too. The steps I would do are as follows:

    • Step 1: Figure out which Madrid player to use. The best way to approach this is to configure the filters to select Madrid players and set a maximum count of say, 10k like this. Let's go with James, he's 9k which is decent for an 85.

    • Step 2: Now, let's plug in James's rating along with any untradeables, in this example I also have Gimenez untradeable too along with a Pacheco, so they can go in too.

    • Step 3: We now want to plug in the average values from Futbin here. Note: Sometimes people will list players well below min-BIN, so it's worth double checking or putting values slightly higher than what Futbin lists

    • Step 4: After putting in those values, calculate the combinations that work - the most cost effective one will be at the top

    • Step 5: Now we know which combination we want, we need to decide which players to use. Again, use this page, but remember chemistry plays a part. With this in mind, it makes sense to expand the ratings and filter further on either nation or league like this

    • Step 6: Build the squad in Futbin to make sure it fits all requirements (specifically chemistry). For this example, I've made it here in the imgur guide below

    The biggest thing to make sure you get right is chemistry, which is why i believe putting it in Futbin first is key. You can still use this guide even if you don't have any players already, just follow the same pattern but don't add any items at the start.

    Every night before going to bed, I open futbin, search for mid Ronaldinho and just look at his stats for a few seconds, briefly imagining how bloody good he is in game. Then I wake up, open webapp, stare at my Sissoko and switch back to reality.

    A review of some 700k++ cards I've used so far.

    I'm not a serious trader or anything, but my pack luck has been pretty good this year (packed 89 Giggs on the first day of release and then baby Carlos Alberto just yesterday, among others), which allowed me to feed my habit of trying out new cards every couple of days for my ever-changing hybrid team.

    I've used a few cards that are priced between 700k and 2 million, but I consciously stayed away from buying into the Messi, Mbappe and Neymar "meta" because I got so bored playing against them, let alone with them. Here are some short reviews on the cards I've tried:

    88 Raul (ST/CAM, Hunter): Before I sold him yesterday, he was the longest-serving player in my club. He's so well-rounded that I'm surprised that I hardly come up against him. Agile, good balance, superb finishing, great finesse shots, good physicals and great pace with a Hunter. His left foot is so deadly and he can play CAM or ST. Has the 4/4 combo as well and perfect work rates for an attacker. Composure is a bit low so he does miss some easy chances, and left footers may not be everyone's cup of tea. Rating: 8/10.

    RTTF Kante (CDM, Shadow): Best pure CDM I've ever used this year. A huge upgrade over his gold card (the pace got boosted by a substantial amount). He may not be the strongest physically, but his interceptions are insane and he just tirelessly hounds the opposition all over the pitch for 90 mins. Don't expect him to contribute anything to your attack though. Rating: 9/10.

    Scream Aguero (ST, Hunter): I still believe he's the best non-icon ST in the game. He's a complete package: fast, strong, nimble and a deadly finisher. The only downside is he doesn't seem to make very good off-the-ball runs. Rating: 9/10.

    87 Carlos Alberto & 87 Cannavaro (CB, Shadow): Two very similar CBs. Fast, agile and top tier defending. They're perfect for the 3-5-2 formation due to their pace. Two of the best CBs I've used this year. Yes, even better than VVD, in my opinion. They're a bit on the short side though, so they do get bullied by big strikers every once in awhile. Rating: 9.5/10.

    RTTF Alba (LB/LM, Sentinel): Not worth the price at all. He's fast and agile and that's about it. Gets bullied off the ball too often, and his tackles didn't seem to be very effective. Rating: 6/10.

    89 Lineker (ST, Hunter): Very similar to Aguero except for the skill moves, but he compensates it by making unreal runs off the ball. If you're looking for a pure finisher, he's your man. Think Vardy, but 20 times better. Rating: 8/10.

    Scream Insigne (CAM, Deadeye): Probably the most fun card in this list. It's true what they say, he's literally Messi with 99 stamina. His agility is nuts, and his high acceleration means he has this unpredictable turn of pace that leaves defenders for dead. Finishing is not exactly top tier, but I am playing him as CAM so he's more than good enough. Rating: 9/10.

    RTTF Militao (CB, Anchor): This is a weird one. He's so highly regarded in this sub but I couldn't really get along with him at all. He does have the pace... But I think his body type is too lean to be a great CB. He's very good, but for me, not worth the price tag, at least not yet. I very much prefer RTTF Gomez. Rating: 7/10.

    90 Dalglish (ST, Hunter): He replaced Raul in my team. And my God, he's easily the best damn card I've used this year. In fact, I enjoy using him way more than I did with Prime Eusebio last year. He has everything, and I can't find a single downside to this card. 5* weak foot makes him so unpredictable, and his finesse shots are goals 90% of the time. The hype is real with this one. Maybe would've preferred 5* skill moves though, but I'm just nitpicking. Rating: 9.5/10.

    86 & 87 Zambrotta (LB, RB/LM, RM, Anchor): 4* skill moves, 5* weak foot for a fullback, this dude is probably the best in his position. Strong, excellent defending and can support the attack. He's the perfect LM/RM for a 3-5-2. Downside is the exorbitant price tag. Rating: 8.5/10.

    Van Dijk (CB, Shadow): He did not cost over 700k but he's a popular card so I thought I might as well include him. Even though I'm a huge Liverpool fan, I've to say VVD just didn't click for me this year (loved his TOTS card last year). With pace being so important, I found him too clunky and slow to turn. Once he is in contact with the attacker, he wins the ball 99% of the time though. Maybe my style of defending just doesn't suit this card. Rating: 7/10.

    87 Kaka (CAM, Deadeye): One of my favourite players growing up, so I had to try him out. Unfortunately, I sold him after about 20 games. He's just way too expensive for what he offers. Has great dribbling, good passing... And not much else. Felt quite clunky and not very fast. I actually preferred using NIF De Bruyne over him. Rating: 6.5/10.

    That's all I can remember. I hope this review is helpful for those who are considering any of the cards above so that you won't lose out so much in EA tax trying out new cards like I did!

    Edit: I just checked and I stand corrected. RTTF Kante has a +3 and +1 acceleration and sprint speed boost compared to his NIF card so it's not that substantial. But in game, he felt wayyyyy faster than his gold card, which was why I made the deduction.

    Edit: Left out baby Kaka. Added to the list.

    Even if you know what you're opponent is going to do it's useless because thanks to delay/momentum your players will not intercept passes, tackles will bounce, fullbacks will go out of position, etc.

    Meanwhile my opponent spam passes, shoots from weird angles and scores.

    I'm done with this game.

    Im a bit salty because in my group of friends everybody seems to be hitting the jackpot. I always play FIFA with five other guys so we're in a group of 6. This is what the other five guys have packed together:
