    Hi Guys,

    I recently started a new job as a data analyst, I thought it would help me get used to the tools I use in my job if I apply them to something I'm passionate about, and so decided to collate TOTW data, and analyse each week against the TOTW so far to see if anything interesting has happened!

    I've made a few graphs presenting this weeks stats against the average of the previous weeks:

    Headlines

    TOTW14 has the 3rd highest average rating (83.04) of any TOTW

    TOTW14 has the highest average total IGS (2128.57) of any TOTW

    TOTW14 is the 2nd highest week for cards rated 86+

    TOTW14 has the highest average Dribbling & Passing stats of any TOTW.

    TOTW14 is joint last place in terms of League Diversity, with only 11 leagues represented.

    52% of this weeks TOTW cards fall into both a Top 5 league and a Top 9 nation.

    TOTW14 is the second shortest (180.87CM) of any TOTW

    Conclusion

    The numbers say this is a better than average week.

    It should be a good week for red picks and a bad week for headers given the headlines above.

    If you're running an Eredivisie, Scottish Prem, MLS or Saudi team you're only really competitive until Christmas. Why the fuck aren't their SBCs available from launch? These leagues all get shafted in TOTW and Promos, so throw us a bone EA

    Rivals game, my opponent loads in with a front line of Pepe and Zaha, clearly trying to do the Gbamin objective. All good. I've been giving wins to these dudes after a half of good play, trying to be nice the way others were to me during the grind for that card.

    5 minutes in, he scores the crummiest rebound goal I've ever seen with Zaha. He runs to the sideline and does the big man. Watched the whole replay, all the cutscenes, all of it. Paused three times before I could kick back off, waited 40 seconds every time.

    Of course, now I want to beat him, no free wins for this guy. Ends up sitting back and playing safe the rest of the game, watching every single cutscene for offside calls and missed shots/saves. I can't break him down (trying to score with Gray and Antonio for the Trossard objectives). He ends up winning 1-0. The game took 25 minutes. Wildly frustrating.

    Trying to skip through to the menus at the end of the game, I realize I can't. We're frozen in the post game cutscenes. The players have walked off the field, and it's just a live view of a few stragglers standing around the field and twiddling their thumbs.

    He tries to queue a pause. Nothing works. I go to dashboard my game, when I realize. He's probably doing the Gbamin objective, and he needs the win. If I quit, he gets it. But if I don't?

    So here we are now, 25 minutes later, still sitting in a stalemate. I have my messages set to private. I figure the dude had nothing but time during the game, hence the pauses and the long celebration and watching every single cutscene. Guess what? I've got nothing but time myself, I can sit here and move an analog stick every few minutes to keep from getting an "inactive" disconnect.

    I've mixed a drink, got Netflix on my phone at the ready. I needed a break anyway.

    Never underestimate how far an annoyed FIFA player will go to inconvenience a dickhead.

    Two reasonably priced Futmas cards, loan SBCs for both players, a RTTF challenge for a league outside of the major five, a TOTW that's not a waste of time. All that's missing is a pack SBC...what's going on here?

    Guys I Need Answers/Comfort

    Hello

    I would like to tell the tragic tale of what happened to me.. Believe it or not, but it is true. The most ultimate cheese from EA Sports, which is borderline robbery. I did 3 Base icon upgrades (stupid I know) and got 85 Blanc three times in row. Three times!!! Had to quick sell some of them... EA I need answers.
