    Every game that I get in, I feel like I have good ping when I start but after the first minute all of a sudden I start getting massive lag out of nowhere. It's incredibly frustrating and I have to stop playing eventually.

    It really does feel like EA has the most frustrating network design of all time.

    It just makes this time so much more fun. I know the upgrades aren't the best but I remember buying Henderson during TOTS for around 500k and to be honest he wasn't that good, now that can get me Mount and Gundogan or a few TOTS. Even Kane who doesn't look that bad is cheap, Vardy even though he had 4* WF was about 700-800k during that week.

    I just think it's a lot more fun trying out these cards and they aren't stupid prices

    Something fishy is going on with the pack weight for the Midfielder Icon Pack

    So, I've been watching some YouTubers open these packs. I've watched NepentheZ, NickRunTheFurMarket, ZwebackHD, as well as Castro on stream and a few others, and something seems off.

    For starters, PIM Makélé was popping up like crazy, yet I didn't see his Prime packed a single time. Same with the English midfielders. I didn't see any normal lampards or gerrards but a lot of PIMs. Overmars as well, i saw his PIM a ton but never the prime.

    On the other hand, Prime Essien showed up 5 or 7 times, yet I didn't see his PIM once. I also saw Ballack many times, but never the prime.

    This just doesn't make sense. Prime Makelele is cheaper and should be more common than PIM, but he's not. Same for the Englishmen and overmars.

    Plus, PIM ballack isn't that great. You'd think that if PIM Makelele is popping like crazy Ballack PIM would as well, they are similar cards and essentially the same price, but no.

    I also saw multiple Peles. Two or three maybe - this could just be random chance because he didn't pop anywhere near as frequent as the guys I just mentioned, but still, weird. Pele is usually a dinosaur.

    Anyways let me know what you guys think and if you packed any of the versions that seem to not be in the packs based on the YouTube vids I watched.

    What FIFA could learn from MLB the show

    Have been playing that game and am very impressed at some of the things it does that would be great in Fifa

    1) Cards improve their stats the more you use them (up to their natural limit). More realistic than Fifa. For example look at Werner, it is normal for a player to improve the longer they are at a club

    2) More variety for playing the CPU within the multiplayer mode. Really enjoying the conquest mode which is like a hybrid of risk, with packs etc hidden behind the tiles. So much better than boring old squad battles

    3) Cross platform play, so can play you mates who have a different system

    4) Ability to create a player and actually use him in diamond dynasty (version of Fut)

    5) After a game there is a screen that shows all the progress that has been made towards objectives, so can see exactly what need to do and who to play etc

    6) Regular roster updates with ratings changing depending on real life performance

    7) A friendly community and player base where the object is to enjoy the game not make someone else miserable.

    Prime Veron Review. Imo, he’s extremely slept on even though he makes a great box to box mid.

    Alright. Some of you might be familiar with mcjell, but if not it doesn't matter. It just means that I'm clearly biased in this review, but I'll try to be objective—I promise.

    Pace: 6.7/10 His weakest area for me. It's not awful by any means, but I'm giving it a 6.7 bc almost every mid you face at this stage will be quicker than him.

    Dribbling: 7.7/10 Probably his most surprising stat for me. He's not great, but he's good enough to wiggle out of situations with the left stick. I thought he was going to feel like a truck, and he does, but it's more like a pickup truck than a massive box truck.

    Shooting: 8.6/10 Oh. My. God. I'd say this was more surprising than the dribbling, but after watching some mcjell videos, it was expected. The finishing stat feels like an absolute lie. Maybe his long shots (93) and shot power (95) make up for the finishing, but I think it's more than that. He can also hit really nice finesses all over the box—on his right foot of course.

    Defense: 8.2/10 Again, better than I thought it would be, but nothing truly special. He's better as a box to box mid than a DM; however, I use him in both roles. As TOTS keeps rolling, I think he'll be forced to play CM more on my squad.

    Passing: 9.2/10 Easily his best attribute. I don't think 9.2 passing is as big of a bonus as a 9.2 in other categories like shooting or dribbling. It's still a huge plus to have, and Veron has it. He pings balls all over the pitch like he's KDB—with a 3* weak foot though.

    Physical: 8.1/10 This is the only slight, slight let down for me. I thought he'd be a bit more physical, but he still gets it done. I've just found it a tad difficult to hold LT and shrug off defenders while advancing the ball up the pitch. Defensively, the physical stats feel a little better imo.

    Overall: 8.4/10 When I look at Veron's stats, I see a 7-7.5 player. Doesn't really fit the meta and is missing a few key stats (pace, finishing, agility, balance mostly), but when you get him on the pitch, his icon magic aura seems to be there.

    He's a little slow; however, he's also a really, really fun player to use. I think the reason for that is his ability to hit shots from outside the box. We all know long shots have been toned down a lot compared to the last few years. Veron makes me feel like I'm playing '14 or '15 at times, and I love the card for that reason.

    Team info: I used him mostly in a 4222. Back line is FS Dalot, TOTS Ricardo Santos, TOTS Goldson, and NIF tavernier (ran out of coins—need like 35k for the SIF). Next to Veron is FB Paulinho. The CAMS are NIF Neymar and NIF Messi, with prime Shevchenko (coin purchase) and prime crespo (attacker upgrade unfortunately). Crespo and Sheva got me into FIFA '05 as a child, so when I got Crespo I figured I'd run it again.

    Disclaimer: I am a g1-g2 player in d3-d4 when I use the main team. I'm currently in d5 after a run with the Brasilver squad lmao—not self relegation, I promise

    Bit disappointed that TOTS hasn't changed my starting XI yet. Haven't packed anyone good enough and can't afford them either, so far have only packed Ederson, Gouldson, got the two SB objective players and a few EFL fodders. The latest upgrade packs have drained me of fodder with no return.
