    1. Bought a Meta team and sold my old Team
    2. Changed Tactic to drop back with stay back for cdm and rb and lb
    3. Abuse cpu defense and controlling my cdm all time
    4. Spam without brain dragbacks and fakeshots
    5. Timewasting if a lead with just one goal
    6. never skip replay ( mental games )

    Now im back to back Elite Player but it makes zero fun to play like this.I want to play a Soccer Simulation and not a arcade game, so im going to buy back my "fun-Team" and trying to reach my goals with beautifull football and not with dragback spams.

    I prefer it to be gold 2 instead of tryhard abusing the game to get Elite.

    This is how to beat the “bidding bug” in FIFA app. Press bid. Then when you get outbid, press “Unwatch” before you bid again. Repeat. It won’t bug out.

    If I’m manually defending my players should make the easy interceptions

    I can't even count how many times the ball has went one inch from my players foot and he didn't intercept. If I'm manually defending with that player he should at least stick his leg out once inch and get the ball. The AIs do decent at intercepting but it has to literally be right at the player you're using feet to intercept the ball.

    In the spirit of the new PTL (Pay to Lose) tag recommendation, I'd like to propose the RTF (Road to Failure) tag.

    RTF is for teams of players (like myself) who:

    - suck at FIFA, but are addicted

    - spend no money on this game outside of the cost of the game itself

    - spend more time in the companion app (investing, trading, BPM, etc.) than we do playing the actual game

    - reluctantly play, either to complete milestone/season objectives for the packs, or just enough to get DR/SB/WL rewards

    - feel there is no "glory" to be had in the current state of the game

    They need to get rid of loan players

    1) being at the top of your player search.
    2) being searchable within an sbc

    Base Icon SBC, special way of opening (a short story)

    Today, i decided to do base icon sbc two times

    I have my own way to open packs. I use to open them through mobile app and i put a small paper in front of the screen in order to hide the player's face, name etc and by moving it very slow i see the first stat i.e. PHY and then i tried to imagine if it is good or not

    In my fisrst pack i saw PhY 65, i thought in the begining that it might be an attacker, there are some very good i though, then i checked by futbin all base icons from the top of the value to the bottom, first page nothing, second page nothing and somewhere in the bottom i found that there are two options only, both thrash

    Overmars or Anderson Luis De Souza (aka Deco)

    Well it was DECO (welcome on my second bench of 18-21)

    Same proccedure. But i did something else this time. I moved the small paper to the other direction slowly and carefully to see the flag first.

    And .....the flag is the Brasilian one. Excitment at the begining, second thought. but if it is Roberto Carlos? i have him already from the icons swaps. Moved the paper the other direction to check phy stat. it is 72.

    Checked my Roberto quickly, he is 78 thanks god.

    I immediately moved fast the paper from the screen, i had no more patience and YES it was Ronaldo Nazario.

    Of course i immediatelly quick sold him (actually moved to my active squad up to the end of the game next June)

    TOTGS Martinez Review

    I picked up this card on Saturday and, looking at his card stats, I was really looking forward to using it. This is just a quick review of my experiences with him after 13 games.

    This card perfectly suits the current meta. His strength means he can easily shield the ball from the majority of defenders. His agility, especially for someone with such a high strength rating, is really noticable in game. A lot of similar cards to this one feel clunky when turning but Martinez is very smooth, even more so with the sniper chem style.

    Using him in this team and moving him up front in a 4 3 3(4) in game, he is able to have a huge impact on the game. The combination of Martinez and Acosta is fantastic going forward, especially on the fastbreak. Here his pace is more than enough for him to be deadly. Even if fast defenders are able to catch up Martinez is able to shield the ball from them.

    If I had to pick a weakness with this card it would be that his passing can at times let him down. While 8 assists in 13 games is a great return it could have been more if he had slightly better passing in the final third.

    I have used a lot of different strikers this year, from Ian Wright to Lewandowski or Donyell Malen, and Martinez is consistently able to outclass them all. His combination of pace, strength and finishing is amazing for a player at this price point.

    I agree with the redditor who posted about how he can't justify the weekend league. I also agree with folks who talk about how bad Rivals is with people dropping down for objectives, etc.

    Personally, I'm not a big squad battles guy. I find the AI both tedious and lucky.

    Supposedly we play WL for rewards and red picks. We play Rivals and SBs to complete objectives like Icons. But why? If we hate all the modes, if they're all toxic or bad, what is even the point?

    I know the easy answer is to quit. Duh. But a lot of us aren't quitting. We're still playing. I guess I'm asking an open question b/c I'm curious myself: if all the modes are for the grind, where does the fun come in?
