    Forget Prime R9. Forget Adama/Kent subs in the 70th minute.

    When NIF Aguëro is in the opponent's starting line-up, I have more chance to pack POTM Ben Yedder in a Bronze Pack than to win the game.

    When this guy scores and the crowd goes on a 2 min rant of SERGIO SERGIO, I'm more triggered than when a guy runs around the pitch and dabs till his arms fall off.

    Can we talk about what the latest patch has done for Career Mode players?

    It has absolutely ruined the gamemode for me. Let me give you some background info first:

    I've been playing Career Mode since 2004, and it's my most played game (mode). I play FUT aswell, where I'm around 1850/1950 skillpoints and Gold 1 in WL (only played one WL this year). Getting Elite 1 in Squad Battles is easy for me, it's rare I don't beat teams on legendary with 5-0 or more.
    This is not a not-so-humble brag, but to show you I'm not just some random dude with no experience complaining because I want to complain. I actually care about career mode, and FIFA in general, but EA has gone too far now.

    Playing career mode hasn't been challenging for me for a couple of years now. As I got older, it's easier to notice patterns and adapt. So when they announced that Ultimate difficulty would come to CM, I was excited! Now, it hasn't made it that much more difficult for me, but it's better. I don't win 5-0 with Paderborn against Barcelona anymore, so that's good. When I read in the patchnotes that they had upped the difficulty of Ultimate, again, I got excited.

    But they fucked it up. Big time. The AI is more aggressive, play more attacking, score more, take more risk (and execute this well) and they don't just boot the ball out of play. So that's great! A highly needed upgrade.
    But it looks like they've taken all realism out of the game. Every players seems to have 99 stats across the board. Bas Dost just dribbled past Upamecano like he wasn't there. Sebastian Rode was faster with the ball at his feet than Roussillion without ball. It's almost impossible to play realistic football, let alone enjoy a match. It's become a math problem you need to solve. Surely this is not the way to go? Going back to legendary is also not an option, because that's way too easy again.

    I know this isn't FUT related, but I hope more people will voice their concerns. But knowing EA they'd rather fuck up some SBC requirements, which they'll fix within minutes ofcourse.

    Latest patch is worst state the game has been in so far, anyone agree?

    . Connection & Delay worse than ever

    . Input delay or no input at all, it's happening constantly right now

    . Player locking seems to be back to its hideous broken state though it was never fully fixed as promised, a player an inch away from the ball wont get it but yeah I'm locked onto my full back who's on the other side of the pitch. You just know your gunna concede whenever it happens.

    . Game feels like it's on 0.00001 speed modifier. Players are in mud.

    . I can no longer seem to break down low blocks

    . Player switching is HORRIBLE, especially when you're desperate to swap into a defender and it keeps selecting other midfielders.

    . Finishing isn't even noticeably better for me, I still hit posts from easy chances, costing me games.

    So yeah just a few bullet points, managed 26-4 last weekend in decent gameplay but I'm 15-7 right now. Game is painful and unenjoyable, every game is won by 1 or 2 goals in horrific gameplay with very little chances.

    I'm genuinely depressed playing a game, what other game is like this? What other company could get away with buttons not registering and terrible coding, it's even worse in a football game as everything needs to be quick and responsive.

    Decided to sell my TOTY Messi and scream Aguero to try Baby Eusebio out and holy shit. This card is unreal. Stuck in a weird angle and think there's no way you can score from there? Yea Eusebio just scored that with his eyes shut. Gameplay makes you feel stuck in the mud? Yea Eusebio is already taking a shit on the ball in the back of the opponents net. Is VVD pissing you off? Yea Eusebio just nutmegged him while we're having this conversation. He is the second coming and the four horsemen of the apocalypse rolled into one 5'8 Portuguese man of war son of a bitch. Best striker in the game.

    Elite every single weekend I play 30 games. I have only ever lost a game in the first 14 twice this whole year.

    I am 7-4, and losing to some of the most outrageous bullshit I have ever seen. I am playing people I literally beat every WL, like beat by large margins, and losing.

    2048 SR, but apparently can't do shit. I cannot believe how fucking awful this new patch is. I play pros on the regular and compete (not saying I am anywhere near pro) but I win some and don't get blown out. Now I can't even beat a normally G3 player.

    You know the funny thing? My players are moving as fluid as ever, my gameplay in terms of delay has been great!

    Game has gone to absolute shit though. I have played idk, 35 games with this new patch. It's dead. Everyone I have asked in D1 on how they felt about it says it's dead.

    I stuck it out all year, but this genuinely is remarkable.

    I used to be a pretty good fifa player. I didnt really play much fifa 19, but with fifa 18 and before I was a pretty good player. I'd average 20+ wins in the WL, I fluctuated between Div 1/2, and I had a pretty good win to loss ratio.

    With Fifa 20, it's a whole different story; I cant event get out of division 6; when I play the WL, I'm lucky if i break even with 15 wins and my win to loss ratio is abysmal.

    The game has changed so much, every game I play seems like a complete grind, it's a mission to even score and an even bigger mission to hold a lead (the number of times I've thrown away the lead in the 90th minute...🤦‍♂️).

    Anyone else found this Fifa to be particularly tough?

    Not even talking the packs and the turned down pack weights. I'm just talking when you dominate someone and the game gives them a couple of rebound goals and you get the loss. You just genuinely feel like you have been robbed afterwards. It's unreal how much this game toys with emotions
