    Results from 999 saved packs.

    Posted: 24 May 2020 12:02 PM PDT

    # Hello Reddit, I'm back.

First of all I would like to apologize for not updating my spreadsheet right away. I ended up streaming the pack opening which lasted 10 hours and took a break afterwards. I then needed to get my weekend league games in. Anyway's here is a [Google spreadsheet] (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IWgW9jYYz458tcqTZa95QEkhPGOHAD9Mbg_yWJG3738/edit#gid=0) of what I got from opening 999 packs from the end of RTTF until Serie A TOTS.

Here's my team [before](https://imgur.com/a/DIGgja0) the pack opening and my team [after] (https://imgur.com/a/fC9IyrA).

I would also like to extend a second apology as my stream cut out after 3 hours and was only able to annotate about 700 of the packs on the speadsheet. Fortunately the 300 pack that went unrecorded were of the lesser variety.

    The best pulls were...

    - PIM Del Piero in a 15k Jumbo Premium Gold Pack (tradeable)

    - TOTS Nainggolan in a 15k Jumbo Premium Gold Pack (untradeable)

    - Serie A TOTS... Immobile, Theo x2, Acerbi, Pellegrini, Handanovic x2, Cuadrado, De Vrij

    - A bunch of Liga NOS troll TOTS

    - And too many walkouts to remember but one not to be forgotten, NIF Mbappe in a...15k pack.

    Was it a W?

For me it was barely a W. Like a last minute header from Ramos W. The 15k packs prevented a disaster of a pack opening as it had PIM Del Piero and TOTS Nainggolan. But it was personally a small W for me as I wanted both in my team and I was always running a Serie A squad. This pack opening was worth about 23 million coins in packs though, or 378k worth of Fifa points. So to many this might look like an L and I understand that. Especially if you look at what I packed in 15 Ultimate packs. But I have been playing since Fifa 07 and a FUT founder in 09 and not once have I packed a player worth more than a million.

    Additional Notes

    * I will be posting how I trade while saving packs as I've had many direct messages asking this question. Just not today as I just finished 7 hours of annotating each pack.

    * Out of 999 packs opened....not a single Ferland Mendy was packed.

Please check the spreadsheet as it is very well detailed and color coordinated.

If any questions please feel free to ask.

Lastly, a huge thank you to all those who watched my first stream, whether you briefly popped in or stayed the whole 10 hours which some of you did. I have a new found respect for streamers as it is actually pretty hectic.

Who else is excited for another round of "It's not TOTW, we swear"?

You guys remember this? Absolute joke.

    Posted: 24 May 2020 03:19 AM PDT

You should win if your opponent quits

    Posted: 24 May 2020 05:46 PM PDT

This has happened to me 3 times today, once where my opponent quit at 1-1 in the 40th minute after receiving a red card, once when he conceded a pen in the 85th minute at 0-0 and once early on in the 20th minute for another red card, so I lose contracts, fitness and most importantly time as I had to play most of my games today, but the game doesn't count I feel like this is such a BS system that can be abused by toxic players to ruin other peoples FUT champs

This Lukaku SBC will show the issues with this sub

    Posted: 24 May 2020 10:08 AM PDT

When EA released the TOTS on friday, everyone was so confused as to why Lukaku didnt make it into the team. Everyone was begging for a Lukaku card and EA actually delivered!

Then all the comments on the u/LeopoldMashallah post are saying:

    • 3*SM kills this card
    • Low balance ruins him
    • Poor agility this card will turn like a truck
    • Hes so shit EA bluegh

I dont think this sub can be pleased. I think this lukaku card looks to be very good

Help for those stressed by WL

    Posted: 24 May 2020 06:26 PM PDT

So if anyone cares I'm gonna offer some help for people stressed by playing Weekend League

I've had to deal with some extremely stressful situations in my life (not bad, just dangerous) and I'm no psychiatrist or anything so take it in stride. These are some things that helped me in life.

    1. Remember that you are playing a video game. Your fight or flight mechanics make your brain think that this game is important which makes you sweat and raises your blood pressure. Change your mindset and just remember it's a game.

    2. Limit your caffeine intake. Although a small or normal amount could make you more alert, if the game causes you stress then try and limit your caffeine intake. Eat an apple

    3. Do some pushups, jumping jacks, or if you can lift some weights. This will help lower stress hormones in your brain and could help you focus better without getting overly stressed.

    4. Make sure you get good sleep, and if you're tired stop playing. No more "just one more" before bed. Lack of sleep or tiredness in general will make what you perceive as stressful situations worse.

    5. Have a little "me" time. If you're not old enough to know what that means, don't ask.

    6. Seriously last one. Please remember it's just a game, change your mindset to remembering ITS JUST A GAME. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you don't win or you don't play well. Change your mindset!!!!!

    7. Ok really, last one. If this game causes you too much stress, stop playing. It's really unnecessary stressors in your life.

If anyone has questions or needs more tips just let me know, I'm here to help

This is what Lukaku’s card would look like if they took the averages in each category. Not quite as good

    FIFA 21 Team Prediction: Chelsea

    Posted: 24 May 2020 12:59 PM PDT

I went from Div 8 to Div 5 in one week and it's all about the basics

    Posted: 24 May 2020 07:58 AM PDT

First of all, it's not a huge achievement but I'm happy about it. Secondly, you can check my user history, I commented about being in Div 8 last week and Div 6 around 3 days ago so definitely not lying.

Yes, I went from 300 points to 1k in one week and I played weekend league last week finishing with 11 wins.

If you're an above average player, this post isn't for you but I thank each and every of you for posting your tips on this sub which helped me improve.

Here's what helped me do it.

    1. Mastered the ball roll - Spent a good 3 matches in rivals just practicing this. It's a game changer

    2. Forgot the sprint button unless you've lot of clear space to run into - the toughest thing I had to unlearn, in tense situations I still mess this up but I'm getting there.

    3. Double tap passes/through balls - again it comes with practice but I did this during matches and some of those passes/throughs that didn't get to your striker/wingers earlier magically start landing.

    4. Left stick dribbling - I've not mastered this by a long way but based on someone's suggestion in this sub I tried this in the middle of the field to get some idea how it helps in getting you an extra second to think.

    5. Played with 2 CDMs - Okay, this is only if you struggle defensively. I always start with 2 CDMs and then if you think you're superior than the opponent, you can switch to a 1 CDM only or 1 CDM and 1 attacking B2B partner.

    6. Mixed up formations: I used 4-2-3-1 to start the game and if it wasn't working out or if felt the opponent isn't good defensively I'd go to a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow formation. The reason was that I found in FIFA 20 you can draw/lose to even weaker opponents because you concede goals even if you're not at fault so rather exploit their defensive mistakes and push on for more goals. It's fine if conceded 1 as long as I scored 3 at the other end.

    7. Fuck the higher division wankers who play on Div 6-8: I'm not kidding I faced toguher opponents in Div 8 and Div 7 than I did in Div 6. Division 6 was probably the easiest so far. If you come across someone who's clearly from few divisions above you, just quit the match. Fuck them and their objectives. You don't need that bs. Do NOT let it affect you. I always thought I was shit and that's why I'm in Div 8 but the fact is, once you get past those wankers, you'll get opponents of your level and many even below your level. So don't let those losses affect you.

Yes, these are the basic things but as an average player, I was not doing most of these or atleast not doing enough of these things.

Hope this helps someone. I'll try adding my team in here soon.

All the best to everyone and thanks again to everyone who share tips to improve in this game.

My reasoning on how rewards ruined the game (don’t hate, its just my opinion)

    Posted: 24 May 2020 10:19 PM PDT

I think we can all agree that Fifa 13, 14, and 15 were EA's glory years for FIFA. Back then there was an amazing community compared to now, KSI was uploading Fifa, life was good. And back then, there wasn't really any competitive Fifa besides of grinding for Div 1 which really didn't have a crazy reward back then, and knockout tournaments which also didn't have a crazy reward.

Fast forward to Fifa 17, what some people call the last good Fifa. Fifa 17 introduced fut champs for the first time, which was 40 Games (btw how did we manage to play 40 games in 2 days back then) during the weekend. This in my opinion was when EA gave players insane rewards for playing the game (I.E. monthly red players, weekend league rewards, etc.). Finally players had the chance to get rewarded for winning games, and added motivation to play the games.

Now fast forward to now a days, Fifa 20, which has been one of, if not, the most toxic FIFA's in recent years. You hop on Weekend League, and it's the same thing. Ball roll, drag back, near post power shot, drop back, AI defend. We all complain about this, but we also all do it in some ways, whether we know it or not, because we don't want to lose. Everyone knows that if you follow the meta for Fifa, you'll increase your chances of winning. And because of the rewards you get in return for winning, players will start to do whatever it takes to win games, which is where being toxic comes into the field.

Being toxic makes your opponent angry, mad, and leads up to them rage quitting. Let's be honest, after watching all the replays for Kent scoring and immediately shushing and dabbing against you, you get angry. Once you get angry, you play worse, and might end up rage quitting. The sad truth is if being toxic means your opponent will quit sooner, lots of people will do it so they can get better rewards. Now I'm not saying that EA should remove rewards, I think they're great, but they need to do something about it, maybe make rewards better for lower places, or better for decent places, just an idea.

    You ain't "Done with FIFA"

    Posted: 24 May 2020 10:24 AM PDT

95% of this sub, at the weekend, is people who have done bad in Champs saying "they're done with FIFA". You're not "done with FIFA" if you still play 20+ games every weekend league and go claim your rewards on Thursday and look at the content they release each day.

My Gold 1 Clutch WL Recap!

    Posted: 24 May 2020 02:13 PM PDT

What do you do when you’re giving away wins on WL and the opponent celebrates and watches all the cutscenes?

    Posted: 24 May 2020 08:26 PM PDT

Squad: all bronze Name of the squad: Free Wins WL

I score an own goal on kick-off. My opponent celebrates, watches all cutscenes. I give him the benefit of the doubt and score another own goal. He repeats. Then this is the conversation:
