    You could have had a player from each top league, and hell, even some players from lesser leagues. It would be super cool to see a player come from the MLS is Back tournament that is in the semis right now, but that's just an example. Why wouldn't you throw out 7-8 players to grind right now? Let people grind towards something!

    Instead we get menu grinding. Yeah, I can pump out 10 82-88s in an hour or two, but why not let people play for those rewards too? Every 10 games played is an 82-88, or 81+ or whatever.

    Give us players, give us a grind, give us a reason to play the game. Why not?

    Analysis of 171 89+ Double Packs

    The above link displays all the data & contains all the sources that the data came from. Here are a few finds from the data:

    General

    • The least valuable pack is worth 100,500 (De Gea & Koulibaly), whilst the most valuable pack is worth 7,510,000 (TOTS Neymar & TOTS Ben Yedder)
    • From the Sample, the average pack returns a value of 568,360.
    • The average pack has a fodder value (only using the cost of cheapest for that rating) 156,009 (Note, I made artificial values for the cost of 98 and 99 rated fodder since these don't actually have fodder cards, hence I did not want them to cause a major anomaly.
    • The 5 most common cards were: Ter Stegen (in 15.79% of packs), Busquets (15.20%), Chiellini (11.70%), Koulibaly (11.70%) & Oblak (9.36%)
    • The only 4 cards NOT to be packed within this sample were: TOTS Dybala, TOTS Werner, TOTS Mane & TOTS Neymar.
    • Unsurprisingly, the most common rating packed was 89, with 106 of the 342 cards being that rating (31.00%). However, the 2nd most common rating was 97 with 41 of the 342 cards (11.99%)

    Card Types:

    • 143 cards were Gold Rare. This averages out at about 0.84 per pack.
    • 18 cards were Inform. This averages out at about 0.11 per pack.
    • 25 cards were either Shapeshifter, Future Star or FUT Birthday. This averages out at about 0.15 per pack.
    • 116 cards were TOTS Cards. This averages out at about 0.68 per pack.
    • 40 cards were TOTYs. This averages out at about 0.23 per pack.

    Probabilities:

    • 1 in every 5.72 packs will contain 2 rare base golds.
    • 1 in every 4.51 packs will contain 2 from the set of base golds and TOTWs.
    • 1 in every 1.89 packs will contain at least one non-TOTW special item.
    • 1 in every 2.19 packs will contain at least one TOTS or TOTY.
    • 1 in every 8.55 packs will contain at least one TOTY.

    Overall, I dont think the SBC is as bad value as people make it out to be. The chance of getting a 'best of special' is high, and those specials are worth a lot and are endgame cards. Also, TOTYs seem a lot more common than first thought, with every 3 non-special packs, equating to 2 packs containing TOTYs! Any further questions lemme know!!

    Reminder: 89+ pack

    Before all the posts about how awful your pull was, remember that those who pack insane pulls from the 89+ are an anomaly. Pack weight is awful right now. If you're on the fence about NOT doing the SBC, don't.

    But, if you don't care, then DO IT, if you pack something awful, remember - it's a game, it's almost over. We start over from scratch the next one.

    Summary of FIFA 21 changes (Key Points)

    Full detail and explanations in the Pitch Notes. These are not all the changes, just the ones I consider most important and specific. Feel free to add others in the comments.

    ​

    1. Agile Dribbling (Sterling in the trailer)
    2. Directed Runs: taking 360° control of teammates runs.
    3. Directed Pass and Go: decide where your teammate makes their run after a pass.
    4. Player Lock: R3 + L3 to lock to current player when in attack. When you're locked to a player and pass the ball, the CPU AI will then take control of the on-ball player allowing you to move your off-ball player and ask for a pass back in a better position.
    5. Multiple buffs to Attack Positioning attribute.
    6. Multiple buffs to Defensive Awareness atribbute.
    7. Competitor Mode (basically a smarter Legendary/Ultimate difficulty).
    8. Manual Headers.
    9. Improved Shoulder Challenges and Seal Outs.
    10. Directional Nutmeg: L1/LB + R1/RB + RS any direction.
    11. Cancel Foul Advantage: L2/LT + R2/RT.
    12. Set-up Touch 2.0: faster animations, ball closer to the player, more accurate shot.
    13. Improved Finesse Shots: The Curve Attribute will now have significantly more influence over a Finesse Shot's ball curl. There has also been a focus on using Player Personality for these shots, along with a cleanup and rebalance of all Finesse Shot animations.
    14. Call players into box on Goal Kicks.
    15. Skill Moves Cancel: you can cancel specific skill moves during the move.
    16. Increased the number of complex Skill Moves that you can chain without the ball getting away to 3, up from 2 in FIFA 20.
    17. Increased the number of normal Skill Moves that you can chain without the ball getting away to 6, up from 3 in FIFA 20.
    18. Drag Back: Remapped Drag Back to be L1/LB + R1/RB + Left-Stick in 180° of player facing angle. Added Player Personality to Drag Back, making it slower for lower Skill Move Rating players.
    19. Ball distance was made closer for Rainbows and Flicks.
    20. All Access Skill Moves: All players can now perform Right Stick Skill Moves, but their effectiveness depends directly on their Skill Move Rating and Attributes. Lower rated players will perform slower and more error prone variants of some of these Skill Moves.
    21. Removal of some celebrations, including Shush and A-OK (Dele Alli) FUT Celebration.
    22. Removal of the walk back cinematic after a goal in Online matches.
    23. Reduced the length of goal celebrations.
    24. Reduced the waiting time for multiple set pieces.
    25. Auto Skip some animation sequences when ball goes out of play in Online matches.
    26. Reworked logic to improve detection of when the half and end of match should finish.
    27. No ball collision with hands (outfield players).
    28. Ground Pass Assistance: changes to minimize the avoidance of an opponents' players when making an assisted ground pass.
    29. Jockey Acceleration/Deceleration: Players with a lower Defensive Awareness attribute have a reduced Jockey effectiveness in order to encourage Jockeying with actual defenders as opposed to forward players.
    30. Near-post shots: Changed goalkeeper positioning behaviour to better cover near post, in order to more consistently save near-post shots.
    31. Throw-ins: Better positioning to provide quicker targets for faster and more urgent throws.
    32. Chip Shots: Improved chip shot targeting system to improve consistency and accuracy of these shots.
    33. Rewind (Kick-Off only).
    34. New Rules settings to call a handball for Goalkeepers when handling the ball outside of the box.

    So the gameplay this year involved players making none of any sorts of (attacking) runs in the game. Now they're adding it back into the game in the form of creative runs, gassing it up as if it's some innovative new feature. Was this why my Mbappe just stood there looking like he was waiting for the apocalypse to happen for the last few months?

    If so, it's a big brained move by them and definitely a reason for us to buy Fifa 21. 😁😁😁 /s

    Whats your wildest FIFA related story?

    Was browing /r/TIFU and came across this story: tried to crosspost it but theyre not allowed, so I figured I would create a post and ask you guys.

    "TIFU By buying game cheats from a terrorist, who then got me arrested and forced to marry my GF.

    (I'm really sorry, i'm from North Africa, I speak French & Arabic, but my English isn't that good).

    I'm 22 years old. (21 when it happened)

    Ok so long story short, in the beginning of 2019, i was playing FIFA on my PC (FUT), i was sad and mad, because i kept loosing all my games, then i had a fabulous idea, i looked over google, for some Cheats, i searched for hours, then i've joined a Shady FIFA Cheats Discord. Contacted a guy who was selling some nice cheats, he showed me how it works, i proceeded to the payements (over paypal), evrything was fine, the dude was cool (we texted each other, i never heard his voice).

    One month after that, i heard a knock on my door, a really loud one, i went to open the door, and there was like a full squad of Police officiers, at least eight of them, i was horrified.

    As soon as i opened the door, they handcuffed me, took me to their place without any explanation, my mother was out of her mind, later, they've explained me that they work for Afripol. its like Interpol but for Africa.

    They also explained me that they're suspecting me, and i was likely to carry out an attack in the Algerian territory (not only because my beard looks like James Harden's beard) but they also traced a transaction between my Paypal account, and a Russian terrorist who is actually Wanted. (the same f***er who sold me the FIFA CHEAT!!) don't ask me why a terrorist is selling cheats on the internet, i don't know.

    Anyway, they carried on by searching into my phone, in the heat of the moment i totally forgot about my Girlfriend's (-18) pictures with me, autorities in my country have evry right over the citizens, so it would have not changed anything if i wasn't ok with them searching into my phone.

    Same day, they brought my PC to their place, searched it too, they found nothing suspicious,

    I explained them for one hour that the only thing I bought, was a FIFA cheat for my game, i'm a really chill dude, i was smiling the whole time because i was stressed as f*ck , they believed me at the end, but i was left with a big problem, my gf and I. Because in my BEAUTIFUL country, if you're caugh by the authorities with your GF/BF f***ing or even kissing, its either you go to jail or you marry her/him, i was lucky enough, because i was planning to marry her since a couple of months, my family knows her, hers know me. it just did speed up the process a little bit.

    TL;DR: Bought a Cheat Software for my PC game, ended up suspected in a terrorist case, and forced to marry my gf."
