    So I stopped playing the game completely after the first WL that gave you a guaranteed totssf at gold 3 (I think it was about 2 months ago?) it was for numerous reasons, but mostly due to how angry it was making me due to EAids, broken mechanics, scripting, the usual bs.

    I also stopped because it was having a bit of an effect on my mental well being. I know it's just a game, but when it was at the point when controllers were being thrown, and I was just ending up in a shit mood for hours after 90% of the games I played (even the ones I won) I called it quits. It says a lot when I'm usually a pretty chilled guy and no other game made me that pissed off.

    Since then I've felt so much happier. I feel healthier and just much better mentally. I genuinely feel like I've beaten some sort of drug addiction. I've also been back at work since I stopped playing as well, so the time I have available to play has reduced, but even when I've had time I've had no desire to play it, and frankly, haven't missed it at all.

    Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

    Unpopular opinion- Every icon they have announced so far for fifa 21 are going to be dreadful to pack.

    Playing WL for the 1st time as a Div 10 player

    Thought I'd give the weekend league a shot as people were saying it's tough at the start but it's worth giving it a go and thought why not lol.

    I usually play in Div 10 and tbf am not great at the game like I don't really know any skill moves but just like to give it a go.

    Would absolutely recommend people to play it if they're unsure as came out with 8 wins and Silver 2 which I'm well chuffed with.

    My standout lads when playing were by far TOTSSF Suarez and SH Lenglet, those guys did absolute bits on the field.

    So yeah, basically if you're unsure about doing WL give it a shot, not as scary as I thought I'd be

    Everything 85 and 86 and up is max bin or extinct. I'm trying to do the Militao FB SBC because I packed duplicate unreadable Piques and I can't get a single player for under 30k. It's August wtf.

    So I have been playing FIFA since 94, online for nearly 20 years and never I have ever lost a game by conceding six goals. But that happened today, but it isn't the reason I am quitting, it the manner of the game which is causing me to quit.

    We have all seen the threads of what FIFA does to effectively nerf you, you move your defender to intercept passes but the ball goes through anyway, on through balls your defender stands still letting them run through on goal, instead of clear as you asked it knocked the ball back in front of goal for their advancing forward to have a free shot on goal... it is just a joke.

    But equally, at the other end, my 89 pace winger got beat in a footrace by a 53 pace RB despite me having a 5-yard advantage. Then there were the 3 times I hit the woodwork, the 4 free headers that completely missed goal, one of which I was about 3 yards out with no keeper and headed it into the floor for it to then bounce over the bar. And the 4 1v1's that I missed, one of which they brought their keeper out, I had a simple pass across to my other striker for a tap-in, I tapped the pass button but the pass was hit so hard it went out for a goal kick.

    This match is just the straw that broke the camel's back, it is when all 'FIFA Bullshit' came together in one match, but this stuff is happening every single match and it is just as unenjoyable when you know the guy you are playing is getting screwed.

    I am just done with a game that I do not enjoy anymore. From turning the console on to turning it back off again I do not enjoy the game whether I am winning or losing. I was actually not going to buy FIFA 20, it was just heavily reduced at Christmas and I gave in. But whether it is better or worse I am going to PES, EA has their cash cow in UT and we will see how long it lasts, but I for one am done... anyone else?

    L1/LB switching worst this year.

    Is it just me or the L1/LB player switching is really messed up this year? Conceded so many goals due to this. Getting better with the right stick switching but even then the bumper switching was never this bad before.

    My 96 OVR Player Character cannot win Player Year. That S.O.B Mbappé wins every time, but I've won the world cup, champions league, scored more goals and assists, and have a higher overall. I'm on my 6th season rn and its getting ridiculous. Who the hell is Mbappé paying to win every time undeservingly? Is this a bug?

    First time Gold 2!!

    I just finished my last game and cant believe. 2 weeks ago s3, last match for g3 and got disconected. last week g3 with last game for g2, got disconected. Today finaly g2 with 1 game to spare. I think the key for me was stop tryhard meta 4231 since i just couldt score with this formation but hey everyone play it so i must too lol. 433(2) helped me play better. and today for last games i tried 4222 and won everything. And ofc thanks this comunity for sharing tips etc.

    WL Observations

    G2 18-11

    1. Greenwood - I'm not good at doing skills so I don't care about 3* SM. But boy does he finish everything?! Easily my fav player this weekend. Surprisingly I only faced him once. I'm also a big United fan and like greenwood so it was nice to be able to play well with him up top.

    2. TOTY Messi - I packed him from the player pick pack last week. He was okay for me. What I hated the most that I would try hard to create space on the edge of the box to do his traditional finesse and most of the time it would get saved. Maybe I need to get used to him more.

    3. Loan players : lots of teams playing loan players. The only one to cause me problem was TOTY cr7. Just too much strength and would bully my defenders. Personally I don't care if my opponent plays loan players (I know a lot of people here don't approve of it). Usually it works for me since they don't know how to get the best out of new loan players.

    4. Goalkeepers : too many matches are decided by goalkeepers in this game. I wish that wasn't the case. Just hoping for more consistency in the future.

    5. Not weekend league related but I wonder if cr7 has a hidden 5* WF (as he should). Very few attackers have as strong a weak foot (in real world).

    6. Actually waiting for fifa 21 now. Want to play with NIFs again!

    Every single card from promos, shapeshifters, future stars, winter refresh, you name it. Just like FIFA 19, but with a slight change...

    All player SBCs are back. From FB Theo Walcott to FB Rooney, from FB Rooney to RTTF Kent, from RTTF Kent to SS Olaza, from SS Olaza to SH Sarr. Some other upgrade SBCs will come back too, like the TOTS guaranteed pack and the 85-92 upgrade Every promo SBC will have their own section to sort them out.

    It'll be carnage, everything will plummet. But listen, everything will be insanely fun.

    I also can't really see a downside to this. Everyone get to use a player they might have missed or can't afford at the time, EA get to make a fortune off a bunch of lightning rounds, more people will consider buying FIFA 21 because of that.
