    For all it's problems, FIFA 20 gave me 12 months of fun... It was a good year (for me at least, feel free to downvote)

    So yeah.... just to recap, I'd say overall it was a very good year, I got 12 months of (mostly) fun,

    Let's get the bad out of the way:

    - Matchmaking, punishing AF both on the WL and divisions (D3-D2 player, with a few incursions into D1). It sounds impossible but it's as if most of my matches were against better players than me.

    - Objectives... looking back "first owner" requirements.... so unnecessary, and this in turn caused self-relegation which also caused high divisions to be hell on earth. Also criminal pack odds.

    - P2W is still here, talk about skill all you want, but when you tackle perfectly Neymar or Mbappe and they keep going as if nothing happen.... you tell me.

    So with all that said.

    Gameplay was fun, there I've said it, as long as me and my rival were playing on even conditions I thought the game was good, better teammate AI (though manual runs help to an extent), and a little heading extra accuracy were my only gripes. I never saw that many bugs, and in thousands of matches the game crashed twice at the most.

    Also content wise... well there was stuff pretty much every week, that's ok I guess.

    Got my best year results wise, on the WL at least, I got worse on Rivals (thanks objectives!)

    Finally, given all the hours that I've put in the game, I'd say it was a good year. Much better than 19! Let's hope it gets better on 21.

    SBC Requirements Will Have to be Reworked in FIFA 21

    It seems like in general, EA have downgraded the overall rating of most players which will make it more difficult to get higher overall rated players for SBC fodder because of the smaller pool of players that are 85+. In FUT 20 there were an additional (24) 85 rated cards from the start compared the amount that will be available at the start of FUT 21. With that in mind, surely EA will have to figure out new ways to make SBC feasible for a portion of players. What are your thoughts?

    Is EA trying to readjust the Power Curve?

    Everyone is pulling their hair out over the ratings and tbf a lot are mind boggling but surely with some of the players who got a downgrade in face rating was done to make room for special cards.

    The likes of Auba, Werner, Thiago etc. will likely put in a lot of good performances so EA is just making it so those players have even more room to have more special cards without capping out too quick. With even some of the players who got downgrades, the face attributes haven't even really changed all that much but the rating has gone down.

    EA has given a transfer card to the entirely wrong team.

    The player is Brady Scott. A bright prospect for the US Youth national teams. He signed with Nashville SC over the summer. Problem is, they gave him an FC Cincinnati card. A team he has never played for.
