    FIFA 21 is fine

    Yes, it really is. Manual defending is fantastic, build up os great aswell. Finishing is also way better, and overall the game is more rewarding than it ever was. I lose when i am worse, I win when I Play better. Not so much random results like last year. Please EA, do not change this game by 180 degrees cause some folks cant defend.

    Top Tips for Pro Clubs

    1. When you don't have the ball, make sure to keep spamming A/X - wouldn't want a teammate in a better position to get it.

    2. When running with the ball, make sure to dribble past every single opposition player rather than passing it to a teammate for a simple 1v1.

    3. When through on goal, make sure to take the most difficult shot possible and miss, instead of passing it for a simple tap in.

    4. When receiving the ball in defence/midfield, make sure to do lots of skill moves and dodgy dribbling, it helps you lose the ball quicker.

    Edit:

    1. If you're a goalkeeper, make sure to charge out of goal and go on the attack constantly for no reason. You'll be able to concede goals and frustrate your teammates in one swift move.

    2. When taking corners, make sure to blast the ball out for a goal kick. Do not under any circumstance cross the ball to the 6ft8 striker waiting in the box.

    3. If you're a striker or winger, make sure to select a midfield role in the menus. This will allow you to run forward, and leave as many gaps in midfield as possible.

    4. When you're the captain, make sure to keep pressing up the field, so you are as vulnerable as possible to through balls.

    5. When someone's running through on your goal, make sure to pull your keeper out every time by holding Y/ triangle. As chip shots are very OP, this will help increase the chance of the opposition scoring.

    6. Finally, and most importantly. When you get into the game lobby; make sure not to select a team so you can waste as much time as possible. Additionally, when you miss out on your desired position, make sure to instantly quit rather than playing the game.

    Maybe this game just fits my play style I guess. I'm seeing a lot of people place very high but they keep falling down. I'm the opposite.

    As title says.

    Players who have never done a skill in their life doing rabonas and unlimited drag backs whilst you stand there or dare go near them just to be given a red for breathing in their personal space.

    Needs toned down fast!

    The ratings were done way before bayerns second half of the season, because of corona they had time pressure (via FCBinside)

    "If the performance of the second half of the season were counted in the rating, the ratings would have been way better"

    Thoughts?

    Edit: acoording to Bild.de the ratings of bayern players were done by only one german ea employee, how can 1 person be objective?

    My favorite "cheap” striker so far. 99 strength and mid 80s for pace with a hawk-eye chemistry- style. Absolute bargain.

    352 is one of the best formations this year

    Because of how FIFA 21 works, the 352 is such a good formation this year imo, and here's why:

    ​

    • You can exploit wing play, and if you have the right players with a decent amount of pace they will offer a great alternative offensively.

    ​

    • With how good one-two passes and through balls are this year, it helps your build-up play a lot, when you have 2 strikers supporting each other.

    ​

    • When playing against opponents who press high and intense having the option to play narrow and wide is a huge help. I have also tried 4222, and in that formation i felt there were huge gaps sometimes between the lines, which sometimes made it hard to pick out passes. You won't have that problem with the 352.

    • The formation is rock solid on defense. Sometimes your wingers may get caught up the pitch, and can't make it back, but i also faced that problem with other formations having fullbacks. When they were caught up the pitch, it was extremely difficult to defend. Having 3 CB's in the 352 who will always stay back, is such a huge help. Even if you're not a great defender, this formation will provide you more stability defensively.

    • The only negative thing i have to say about the formation, is that it is more challenging to build a proper team. You need players who will fill out certain roles perfectly, and there aren't a lot of players that can play on the wings in a 352 or play as wide CB's, where pace is very important.

    They've added MORE splash screens after division rivals matches

    In fifa 20 you had the skill rating screen, WL points screen, then the rivals points screen and then you were dumped back to the menu (why not put us in the team screen so we can start another one?)

    This time around its

    1. WL points
    2. Opponents skill rating
    3. Your skill rating (with the opponents skill rating on the screen too btw)
    4. Rival points.

    Each of these screens has their own animation which takes time and after all that you're dumped back onto the menu again. The number of arbitrary "clicks" between games just to dismiss pointless information screens which could be displayed on a single screen is getting ridiculous.
