This next wave of moderators will be joining the team as we start preparing for updating the subreddit and re-organizing for the army of Although all moderators will be working on improving the subreddit by removing posts that violate rules, answering questions via mod mail, approving content that gets eaten by the spam filter -- special consideration will be given to applicants who meet certain criteria outlined in the form. | Don't be disheartened by this WL Posted: 17 Oct 2020 08:06 AM PDT This WL will be noticeably harder than the ones coming up due to the vast majority of casuals not having enough points yet. I'm in D1, and I'd say, including my placement matches, most of my opponents have been D1/D2 and about half of my games have felt like the games on the run up to pushing elite. Just find your system and what works against these better players now so you can finish well when WL properly begins next week. [link] [comments] |

| I feel like i’ve played the same match 10 times in a row now Posted: 17 Oct 2020 02:58 PM PDT 442 with 2 or more 5 star skillers. 4+ defenders behind the ball not even trying to tackle, just crowding and blocking shots. through ball to one of the forwards. skill moves, skill moves and more skill moves until inside the box then pass to the side. I mean, i think someone forgot to tell me there is literally only one way to play the game this year, what is going on? Was anxious to start the WL (im a div 2 player) but i simply have lost my will this weekend. Was having fun this fifa until this WL started [link] [comments] |

First game, high hopes for this WL, and I just played a pro player from germany. He could have beaten me with one finger, but it didn't help that he had a Pelé, C. Ronaldo, Mbappé, If Ben Yedder as his front 4. Lost 8-1, I take it as an achievement that I scored 1. But god damn this guy was good. On fifa 20 Nico Pepe albeit a slightly better card was 30k until the end of October (bare in mind fifa also came out 2 weeks earlier), right now on fifa 21 you can buy his card for under 2k Even the higher end cards are stupidly cheap, you can currently but a son for 230k, last year he had pretty much the same card and didn't drop below 400k until mid December Everyone and their nan has a good team already in 21 so the lower and mid tier cards are gonna be used less and less, I don't see any way that ea can dig the market out of this whole, cards are either gonna be sbc fodder or the top tier meta and there won't be any in between Thanks for coming to my ted talk. It feels like every year it gets worse, but I never had any issues with switching in fifa 17 I'm confused how they would manage to break something every year that was working before, aren't these games supposed to be better? Defend with kante/sissoko and just send through balls to the wings and do a million skill moves even when nobody is near you.... To the point that I can only stomach 2 games in a row then I need a break for a few hours. Oh and can't forget the total 3 shots each per match. Very boring meta in an otherwise great fifa.
