    A Quick Mid Rijkard Review...

    After getting lucky and packing baby Essien, I figured I'd sell him and go through as many CBs as I could in order to find the perfect pair.

    I'm currently in love with Varane because of his WR, height and pace, so he's who I'll be pairing guys up with.

    I went with Rijkard first because with how important manual defending is this year, ball control seems to be what keeps those great tackles from turning into lost tackles and with an 89, Rijkard is tops at the back.

    Pace-I feel like if the silvers matches has right me anything it's that a combo of stamina and pace matter most here. Rijkard maintains his pace throughout matches and only gets bested by the monsters.

    Shooting- while I only have one header with him, I'm not afraid to have him join the attack when I'm down. He def has presence in the box on set pieces.

    Passing-he rounds out the top 10 for CB in passing and it shows. He's able to send them deep when needed and more than makes up for a stat that his counterpart has trouble with from time to time. The other place this shows is set pieces when he receives the ball and needs to kick it back out and his 4*WF makes it so you never worry which foot he's passing with.

    Dribbling- his combo of reactions, ball control and composure are class and it shows. If he gets the ball, it's rare that he's giving it up unless some slide tackles him. He keeps the ball close even as he pushes up the field.

    Defending-the only non icon that has his combo of stats is Chielini, who is fun to play with but tires quickly and can be beat late in game. He's class here. His body type is big enough and he rarely let's someone get around him. I've yet to commit a foul with him but he constantly leads the team in tackles when playing. He's just really good here.

    Physical-Rijkards only downfall is his aggression, which only hurts when you have a loose ball and it's near a near post scoring opportunity. He's not afraid to mix it up, but he's not diving in there on his own. His Stamina really makes the difference here and shows in games where there's late pressing and he's got to move around a lot.

    Overall- I'm going to have a hard time trying other players after him. He's just so solid in so many ways. If I had to draw a comparison, the closest thing I could think of is Diego Carlos live card from last year, but even then, I'd say Rijkard is better because of how much stamina matters this year.

    Not sure if this has already been posted but i played 2 SB games this morning with a squad which contains OTW cards and IF's and the games counted for the 200 rare battles milestone objective.

    Live FUT Friendlies is exactly how Icon Swaps should work

    I absolutely love the implementation of how Live FUT Friendlies work. Silver Lounge is a phenomenal way of unlocking a card. We get to use Silver players to do the objectives without having to be afraid of getting absolutely battered by a god squad in Rivals.

    This is exactly how they should implement the Icon Swaps in FUT 21. No self relegating, no unfair matchups, no ruined stats. Timed Swaps objectives would be timed game modes in Friendlies. Everyone doing challenges will face someone else doing challenges. It's a level playing field, and everyone will have a better and more enjoyable time doing so.

    I fear the time when Swaps will have to be done in Rivals, and I'll end up losing all my ranked matches because everyone will quit at 0:0.

    PSA: Having both tradeable and untradeable consumable and consuming it stil results in game using tradeable over untradeable.

    It's been a long time question to fix it and still hasn't been fixed by EA. While the game is moving into the right direction small things still gets people irritated.

    The silver related content (Vydra,Objectives etc) are great and should be repeated weekly!!

    Especially at this early stage in the game. I love using silvers. They are not very usable after 3 months or so when everyone runs meta op teams it's just not fun, but right now, using silvers is not only fun but you can still somewhat compete if you're a competent player.

    Cards like Vydra are fun to grind for and it changes up the pace of the game and forces players out of using their usual op players.

    More stuff like this would be great EA.

    (It was sneaky making one of the objectives score 10 with a silver TOTW, but seeing the market react was somewhat funny and I like the curve ball there)
