    Community - EA, can you stop giving us ugly unplayable balls? EA - say no more

    EA are doing their best to kill the game before black friday.

    • Mane/Salah missing sitters while Dembele who has never won a GD thing in his life bangs them in from F all; same for Rodrigo, Ben Yedder, Lucas Moura, Alex Texeira.
    • Icon SBCs more expensive than their actual cards on the market
    • League SBCs with expiry dates, untradeable rewards and no player pick
    • Game limits in FUT Friendlies.... FRIENDLIES.
    • Patches making gameplay worse.
    • No red cards for last man tackles.... sometime not even yellow cards
    • 6 behind the ball, 4 stay forward no midfields.
    • Blatant 45 minute, 90th minute goals no matter what you do to try to stop them.
    • Opponents tactics impacting your players as well (you can feel you players get slower when your opponent switches to a pressure tactic.)
    • Button delay so bad that passes just fly all over the place sometimes backwards; no rhyme or reason to the pass weights either.
    • Trash red picks. Trash pack weight.
    • No reward for just playing rivals (beyond 30) because of a game cap.
    • All untradeable packs from most sbcs yet no untradeable duplicate storage.
    • Goalkeepers completely useless... like entirely useless.
    • Unattainable players regardless of the number of hours you dedicate to the game (even playing fifa as a fulltime job couldn't gain you access to all the players or content within the game)
    • All this on a 1 year game cycle. Am I missing anything else?
    • EDIT: Crazy clown balls, goals, and out of bounds lines that are hard to see for COLOR BLIND PEOPLE.
    • EDIT: Phantom fouls in the box resulting in PKs.
    • EDIT: EA: "We want a fun experience so we removed certain celebrations" ALSO EA: "We have added a conga dance line that drags on, Mbappe cry celebration, freeze frame look back and stare into the camera."

    I went from being hard core, 2-3k games a year, to barely turning it on for days. Everything EA is doing is directing you to the store and fifa points tab. Untradable packs, wack objective rewards, overpriced SBCs, forcing competitive play down your throat, and bad rewards. It's very sad to see the game we are all huge fans off and have massive potential goes downhill every year.

    How I went up 2 divisions in less than 5 hours

    First came a change if tactics

    Then I gave my team a pep talk

    And I stayed confident all the way through

    I even changed the kit numbers hoping that would help

    And here I am, up 2 divisions in one day living a gr8 life.

    Forgot to mention I packed mbappe. That part is crucial

    This game leaves you unsatisfied and stressed because the margin for error is zero but your control of the team isn't 100%

    Well think about it. When was the last time you had a great fun session which didn't leave you either fuming, exhausted mentally/emotionally or just dissatisfied.

    There's no margin for error in this game. You make once wrong player switch, one slight movement and you concede. You can't even recover. You know it's inevitable after that 1 split second mistake.

    But then you make a perfect tackle and the ridiculous rebounds kick in to give back to ball. You see your player is tracking/making a run and at the most critical moment, just betray you. Don't even get me started with the goalies.

    Most times, you're just a sitting duck, you have zero control over those things leading to a goal or losing possession.

    You can possibly play the most perfect game ever, read each and every thing your opponent is about to do and still lose 3-0.

    I'm not saying teams don't get penalized for mistakes in real life or that rebounds and ridiculous stuff doesn't happen but the frequency with which it happens in FIFA is ridiculous.

    I'm not playing the victim card and saying it's always against me. I've had my share of luck and I score and win but it's such a shitty way to win that you're not even happy. You're relieved.

    We'll continue to play. This will go down as just another whiny post. And we go back to as things have always been.

    Don't commit to icon SBCs you will regret it

    Had to make another post because reddit police nowadays doesn't allow us to express opinions or anything that they don't agree even if you are not breaking any rules.

    Don't do Icon SBCs my dudes. It's an insane coin and card sink. You will never get anything back and 95% of the icons are not that great. Imagine spending 1 million on Figo when you could buy Neymar or Mbappe. Then imagine EA releasing Figo prime card then it's prime icon moments card. You will question why you did the SBCs in the 1st place.

    These SBCs used to give MULTIPLE, i repeat, MULTIPLE 100k packs on fifa 19.

    I did prime Best for like 1.4 million and then EA wanted me to spend 1.2 million more to upgrade to his prime icon moments cards.

    Remember that boys. Be strong. Don't get tempted, show EA you don't care.

    CMV: High-level fifa is just boring

    Change My View: Proper, elite level defense and attack are both objectively boring. No creativity, not with gameplay and not with teams. At lower levels its fun being creative with pass combinations or even unusual skills. But for WL, to get above gold, you absolutely have to join the dark side. Do croquetas and stepovers outside the area for 20 minutes until your opponent's cpu switches them to the wrong CB. On defense, just run around for 20 minutes until you opponent risks it and tries finally to actually score a goal, and then autoblock his shot.

    FIFA's structure of rewards and continuously slightly better players is addicting. But good players can beat you with antonio anyway if you dont play the same boring way. There is no end goal really

    Loan Figo SBC has no chemistry requirement. Might be a mistake from EA

    SBC says 11 rare golds with minimum rating of 60. Should be 60 chemistry in my opinion, better do it now!

    Meanwhile every WL with 20ms has a .5 second delay, skill moves dont create any space, ur players hobble along in mud and your attacking AI just stands there. Great job EA really playable game btw.
