“Stop Wasting Your Time Playing Fifa” Posted: 27 Nov 2020 08:05 PM PST This is all I hear on this platform. I love FIFA. I love the Weekend League because of the competition. Gameplay sucks. But that's FIFA. I love creating teams. I love playing with my favorite player (Firmino) no homo. I love Thursdays (Reward Days). This game is the closest thing I will get to real life Futty. As soon as Liverpool has played, I load up FIFA. As long as FIFA is not fucking up your family life, friends, job, bank account, etc. who cares how much time you spend on it? People are dying of COVID every day every minute. Please don't tell people how to spend their time if playing FIFA is helping them forget about real world problems. If trading makes you happy, flip hella cards. If Squad Battles is your favorite, squad them battles. Enjoy YOUR time doing what makes your happy. FUT Harsh Truths Posted: 27 Nov 2020 11:21 AM PST There are only 3 cards worth getting between 200k-500k: Rashford, Varane, Kante. Any other card is a waste of money. IF Llorente owners: save yourself 170k and get De Jong who's just as good, if not better. Unpopular Opinion? I like Weekend League games contributing towards Division Rivals. Posted: 27 Nov 2020 04:20 PM PST I've seen a lot of hate on this subreddit this season about the change to include WL games in Division Rivals. Mostly because it means that, if you play all 30 WL games, you cannot contribute anymore games to Div Rivals, making the whole mode pointless. However, I'm actually a fan of it. Let me explain. Last year, I would play every weekend league, meaning 30 games every weekend. I'd also try and play squad battles on and off during the week, and on a Sunday, so that I had some half-decent packs and coins for Monday mornings. Finally, I would also end up having to play 20+ games of Div Rivals, between Monday and Wednesday, so that I could have Div Rivals rewards for Thursday too. All in all, that's a lot of games per week! In contrast, I now know that I will play 30 games each weekend, in the only mode I really care about, and that after that I don't really need to play matches during the week. This means I can have a break to do other things, and when I do boot up FIFA midweek I can do some SBCs or a couple of squad battles here and there, instead of struggling against sweat in Rivals. And the best bit? I can't kick myself for not getting more rewards from Rivals (as I've already earns them,) and on top of that, I get a nice little 45K bonus to my WL rewards on a Thursday morning! (I finish G2 most weeks and this normally leads to ~45K Rivals rewards.) To summarise, I get to play less of the game, can focus more on the mode I actually care about, and I still get extra rewards each week. And on top of that, I can enjoy some nice, relaxing Squad Battles (always the low-rates teams) whenever I do get the urge to play a match Monday - Friday.
