COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE ON MARKET TRENDS Posted: 06 Nov 2020 02:42 AM PST A bit tired of seeing so many lost souls wondering if their cards are going to rise or drop so I decided to write down all the market trends I know in one post in hopes that someone can use it as a reference and have their question answered. Conditions that make players decrease in value; - Weekend league sell off (Sunday/Monday); People have finished using their teams and look to sell off players that they didn't like, or to change their teams. In desperation to get their coins back they will look to sell for the lowest price. Come Tuesday, prices will start to rise again on through to rewards day when prices start to increase again. - Promo panic; It's happening right now with RTTF; new cards are on the horizon and people want to buy these new cards thus selling off their old ones to afford the new ones. Again, in desperation to gain coins back, they will sell at the lowest BIN and undercut each other. This includes all type of cards. - Big midweek sbc pack supply; This is probably more relevant to gold cards but can sometimes apply to totw or promo cards if the pack weight is good. A midweek mega pack sbc (such as uefa mm) can push prices down further because people are packing more cards through higher value packs, though prices are generally not as low as sunday/monday. - Popular player sbc; Say Ea released an 88 rated Martial champions league moments sbc that only required an 84 rated squad; everyone with reasonable logic would do this card. But in doing this card that (is so accessible to everyone and most likely be in their starting 11) would mean that they will most likely sell off their current striker to make room for him. In trying to regain liquidity, people will sell off their strikers for the lowest BIN, which will drive the prices down. Pseudo example of this is Ansu Fati sbc this year, it lowered the price of Eden Hazard. Applies to all cards. First two hours of rewards day; easy one – everyone is packing cards and looking to sell players to make coins to buy players, thus undercutting each other makes the prices low. Applies to all cards. Conditions that make players increase in value; - Lack of midweek content or sbc; generally speaking, people like to hold liquidity in case something new comes around the corner, but if there's no promo during a certain week then prices will generally be inflated into existing cards. This really only applies to META cards. Less card options/ more money injections (rewards) means that people will invest into the current META players available. - Weekend League – Easy one; people want to use the best players to get the highest rank therefore want to buy only good/high rated players for their team. Applies to Meta cards. - SBC requirements – Another easy one; either a certain player is required in an sbc or a popular high rated sbc comes out. Applies to non meta gold cards. - Popular player sbc/objective; Counter to the martial example – if a desirable player comes out then people would want to use them. In order to use them, they may have to squeeze them into their teams and will look for players that link with him. Good example is rulebreakers Opara; MLS milestones came out with useable defenders which Opara can link to. - Any coin injection: a bit of a niche example, but it happened early on in this fifa cycle. Div rivals placement injected a ridiculous amount of coins into the market, which meant that everyone had the coins to buy much better players. That is why we saw popular players increase 100/200% at the start of fifa. However, this meant that everyone with massively inflated at the start of the game, meaning the drop off was bigger than usual. Good example is bale; it only took two weeks for him to drop from 110k to 20k. - Out of pack: This happens to primarily totw/promo cards. Once the totw or promo ends, the absence of supply of these cards increases their rarity, meaning they will generally start to rise as people gain more coins and look to upgrade their team. Kyle walker totw is a good example. He fell to around 420k when he was still in packs, but after leaving packs and more people started gaining coins, he gradually rose to around 500k. This example happens to most cards but rises are generally bigger in popular cards. If there's anything else people can think of, add it in the comments below. EDIT: Thank you for the awards guys, though I must admit that I originally decided to do this because I was starting to get irritated seeing the same posts on why my players have dropped in price.... That being said, I'm glad I can help. EDIT V2: Given the popularity and how many market questions are coming in, should I do a weekly Q&A? I mean I admit I'm no analytical genius, but I can at least steer the newer people to FUT and the less market savvy in a good direction? Let me know. [link] [comments] |

BSC Young Boys Career Mode Season 1. A lot of Young talent in this squad. Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:40 AM PST |
I have played 23 friendlies today, and faced loan Mbappe 23 times Posted: 06 Nov 2020 01:16 PM PST MLS objectives? Loan Mbappe. Ligue 1 objectives? Loan Mbappe. Kounde objectives? Loan Mbappe. It does not matter what squad rating or league requirements, everybody keeps playing loan Mbappe. It makes an exciting game mode yet again the same old borefest. The solution is simple: force people to play with 11 players from the same league + bench from that league. Period. Alternatively, scrap loans. [link] [comments] |

Anyone thinks SBCs have been underwhelming? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:16 AM PST I know it's really early in the game cycle but the SBCs have been very mediocre except for Fati maybe.I literally have some untradeable duplicates sitting there waiting for a good SBC and today it will probably be Isco who is below average. What the fuck have they done to gameplay? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 12:46 PM PST Just hopped on to play some weekend league after not playing for ~10 days due to work. What. The. Fuck. Has. Happened. To. Gameplay? It feels like fifa 20 all over again. Slow, lethargic and passive. What the fuck is this shit show? Nobody is seriously enjoying it are they? [link] [comments] |
Has EA just removed straight red cards from the game? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 06:32 AM PST Seriously, did someone face a straight red since the newest patch? I am running alone towards the keeper, get fouled from behind and there isnt even a yellow for the foul... This company really needs a company-wide definition of the term BALANCE!!! Another Day, Another Promo, and still no Serie A SBC. Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:58 AM PST 3rd or 4th best league in the world. Completely ignored. [link] [comments] |
This RTTF might be the worst one ever Posted: 06 Nov 2020 02:45 PM PST I'm sorry but this RTTF team is soooo bad First off, Marseille have 0 points and are 4th in the group, so Sanson will most definitely not even get one upgrade Secondly, did we REALLY need to have another version of Klostermann and Davies? Like we don't see them enough already? At least EA, at least use some different players. It would be a lot more fun if there were other players chosen which could maybe replace the Klostermann's and Davies' we see in every squad already. Thirdly, really Salah, Oblak and Griezmann? Weren't they in there last year or the year before? It's just so boring to see these again. Had at least chosen Torreira from Atletico Madrid to get a RTTF for the links with RB Gimenez and OTW Suarez instead of Oblak. And maybe TAA instead of Salah. I know it's all about money but this team insteadly turned me off RTTF [link] [comments] |

How can the patch be making everyone lose? Who's winning more now? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 05:12 AM PST Half the posts on here the past couple days are people claiming they went on a huge loss streak because of the recent patch, but surely your opponent is experiencing the same thing as you so there's no reason you're more likely to lose? Last WL I went 19-2 on Friday and then got 3-6 on Saturday to finish with 22-8. My players went from being gods on Friday to useless (combined with a bit of bad luck) on Saturday. There was no patch between those days, that's just how inconsistent fifa gameplay has always been. [link] [comments] |
Marseille : 3 games, 0 points, 4th place. RTTF worthy. Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:21 AM PST |
I don’t think the patch has changed anything at all? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:04 AM PST I've seen so many posts saying how the new patch has destroyed their way of playing, how they're losing, how their 99 pace winger has no pace etc but for me it's been the same; pre patch I was scoring and conceding a shit load of goals and post patch I'm still scoring and conceding a shit load of goals. Bar the yellow cards and the whistle being blown in inappropriate situations; the games not changed at all imo, everything's still the same for me whether it's good or bad. Basing this off my experience nevertheless. [link] [comments] |
They should add a Youth POTM alongside the regular POTM. Posted: 06 Nov 2020 04:01 AM PST Anyone else think this would be a good idea? Could provide some nice variety each month and some cheaper alternatives. [link] [comments] |

Should I stop playing weekend league? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 06:33 PM PST Every game I'm coming up against van djik and Gomez at the back and either cr7 or mbappe upfront. I just feel like I'm being used as fodder for the guys that remortgage there house on packs it's so disheartening I feel like unless I play literally perfect I don't stand a chance it's exhausting. Are you really better than your opponent? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 06:28 PM PST Obvious answers: Of course, I'm the best there has ever been, nobody has seen a Fifa player like me before, tremendous numbers Depends on my opponent Must be because I won Must not be because I lost etc etc etc My answer is how am I meant to know? I know for a fact that sometimes I win and get a bit of luck to change the game. And same as 99% of the community also "know" I get absolutely screwed in some games. Inaki Williams with his phasing ability, somehow bigger than Sissoko but more agile than Messi in one game one game, the next he's anonymous. I've lost so many games to people who I think I've been far better than. But what's to say the opponent I just destroyed 7.2 doesn't think the same? Was I just that bit quicker on my key pad or did my players just decide to start making runs on their own for this game? Were his players turning like trucks or did my Fred fluster him? So how are you meant to enjoy a win when you don't know if your opponent was just screwed over by lag or connection? The only time I really enjoy a win now is against an over skiller who skilled themselves into oblivion, or one of those rare games where its close, both players seem evenly matched and there's no bullshit during the game [link] [comments] |
