    Promo SBCs to be specific I'm not really talking about POTM, FB or UCL Moments; there hasn't been one SBC which has made me think "I HAVE TO GET THAT" I mean a Mason Mount SBC really? Why not an Angel Correa RTTF you know a semi decent RW that will be used since there's a shortage of RWs or a RTTF Alexis Sanchez you know something along those lines and don't get me started on that Isco card, absolutely terrible.

    Talisca and Williams seem to be the only decent ones so far.

    Btw before anyone has a go at me for being a slave for the META I literally have a Serie A team and it's far from META.

    Hopefully Team 2 is better but I'm not holding my breath.

    EA guys, this is your chance, in a few weeks half a globe will be in a partial or total lockdown and will look for ways to try and cope with their emmerging depresion caused by losing jobs, losing people to COVID or just by the holiday season itself. Those people might have the "good" idea to try your game and my oh my, if they will touch the las vegas simulator ultimate team your product might be accused of producing dementia. This is your chance EA to do something good for the world, just imagine hearing people talk nicely about your game and not having to hide in shame behinde your direct communications bullshit account. Imagine people not breaking controllers, tv's and relationships because of you anymore... just imagine fcking extending the WL to 4 days. Is it that much we are asking of you?

    Constant Untradeable Packs Can Fuck Off

    Seriously EA would giving us a tradeable rare mixed players pack seriously be that bad? Like why has everything got to be untradeable? Your drop weight is so low anyway that all I'm getting is low tier rare golds over and over and over again, oh and because it's constantly untradeable I don't get any coins when I have to discard them because you have no duplicate storage system. I kind of get why objective packs are untradeable and if you choose the untradeable rewards from rivals that's fine, you get double but can't sell them that's the deal. But SBCs? come on like seriously you know that would do absolutely fuck all to the market. And the fact the quickly removed first league sbcs with even the vaguely good packs were untradeable doesn't bode well for the whole year (unless they change it of course). This is honestly sucking any joy this game had out the of it.

    Ok, this may sound like the most ridiculous idea ever. The most absurd thing to be thought of. But think about it. Sort of like career mode. If your decisions are really bad you'll only get to reff lower games but the better your judgment, the better games you get to reff. This will probably raise some issues with what the game thinks is a foul or other things but I've been thinking about it for years now. Stupid but yet brilliant, at least in my mind. Let me know what you think below

    Hear me out.

    I'm not one for giving a damn if something in a game is a little unrealistic but this is actually outrageously far fetched. I don't care who you are, there hasn't been a footballer in history that's somehow managed to juggle a football from the halfway line while simultaneously going in full sprint and weaving in and out of every opposition player on the pitch. It's hilarious.

    Now I know there will be people who are going to give me the "lEaRn hOw To DeFeNd" lecture. I'm bang average at this game and I do what I can but in amongst the delay and speed up lag sometimes I don't have a hope in hell. What is this shit actually doing in the game somebody please explain?

    Maybe I'm just missing something obvious but is there an actual way to defend this other than taking a foul or getting lucky by trying to do a standing tackle?

    It doesnt matter what game edition, what META, what players you have, what formation - the recurring descriptions of core issues with FIFA have always boiled down to a description down the lines of 'games unresponsive', 'stuck in mud', 'players feel like bronzes', or 'game feels crisp at 3am when it takes 30 minutes to find a game'. Yes, there are some noticeable differences since the patch (rebound goals are everywhere and AI interceptions and blocks have been buffed), but most complaints are about player responsiveness NOT actual gameplay mechanic changes.

    This is the result of TERRIBLE servers. These servers dumb the gameplay down, substantially lower the skillgap, and dramatically reduce the number of viable playstyles. 'I'm facing way more PTB and counter since the patch' - people gravitate towards this when delay is bad because its the easiest way to win against someone suffering from delay. Everything merges together into crap as playstyles fail, skillmoves cant break defences down, and kick and run becomes unnecessarily difficult to defend.

    Fix the servers rather than going round in circles with gameplay tweaks.

    This is an actual skill based game, but Rebounded tackles seriously need a fix in this game. Completely ruin the experience

    Rebounded tackles completely ruin the experience. You could play perfect defense, score nice aesthetic passing goals, but you'll end up losing the game because of a few tackles that land at the opponents feet in front of goal. Just completely pointless to build up and play and score goals when all the opponent needs is a shit rebound. These are the reason most people consider this game scripted.

    This game will never be even remotely skill based until this is fixed.

    Will we ever see FIFA move away from a pace meta?

    Every year it seems to become more of an issue.

    Players like Joe Gomez/Kyle Walker are more effective in game at CB than Koulibaly/Laporte. Kroos/Fabinho are extremely cheap as they're deemed "unusable" and probably rightly so. Wingers like Saint-Maximin/Adama as effective (if not better) than Salah/Bernardo/Sterling.

    (And many other examples, sorry, you can probably tell I run a prem team 😅)

    Just once I'd like them to build a game where these sorts of high rated "fodder" players would be useful. Pace at CB shouldn't be the deciding factor in a good centre back, Thiago Silva shouldn't be as useless as he is for instance.

    I can't see a way they'd change this meta though, at least not with the current engine/physics.

    Are most people happy with the meta, or would you prefer a change??

    After getting promoted to D1 and hating every game I've played since I'm thinking of switching to friendlies for gameplay and trading/investing instead of rewards which I take untradeable anyway.

    Anyone else not playing rivals this year?

    Stop whining about Mbappe / Icon Loans

    Is it great that they moved objectives from Rivals, was this what the community was crying for all of FIFA 20?

    Yes.

    Now with the game being in friendlies, if you're loosing you can literally just quit with no repercussions if you're not a fan of Mbappe spam.

    If it is managerial masterpiece, people using Mbappe are scarififcing a lot of "rating" that could go elsewhere in the team, it's not imbalanced as you can easily build a much better team than the ones that favour Mbappe.

    Furthermore, for a high number of playerbase playing with icons or Mbappe will be unachievable so having them unlimited in friendlies is great for people with kids / lives. (not me, but can surely understand how some people do not want to commit time to grinding rivals, champs and SBs)

    Really its not impossible to counter Mbappe so just stop whining please.
