    Dominated their group, looking strong going into the Ro16 and could potentially have a bit of a run here. But the only UCL promo card EA have released for them is the the RTTF Mount sbc. No RTTF cards in packs, somehow no TOTGS when that was out. It's not like they are short of cards that would be great to use in a promo either.

    In absolute classic EA fashion, after all the hype around icon swaps, it's anything but the icons that people actually want. The 83x 25, 85x 5, and 2 ultimate packs are all phenomenal, while every icon is either not very good, will be outdated quickly, or takes too long to get. Phenomenal work EA!

    You are bored/done with the game because of what you make of it. People turn the entire game into a chore/grinding fest.

    I just saw a post asking to trade 200 golden goal wins for the silver objectives, I mean... Cmon at that point I would quit the game also.

    You hate to give money to EA but you are fine playing 200 or more games just for a stupid pack, at that point you're doing more for EA's numbers as opposed to just buying the pack.

    Its just people dont even want to play the game, they just make it about getting new shiny cards and packs. FOMO is also a big thing, most of my friends do all the players objectives and SBCs and then never use the players... Why though...

    The game should be about playing football and scoring goals, instead you make it a grind to get some card that gets power creeped in 2 weeks anyway.

    WL... For me its all about getting the most wins possible to test myself and improve at the game, could care less about rewards. Everyone tilts like hell because the miss out on some rank rewards, like, you dont care if you are good or not or that you achieve a specific rank, you just want the shiny cards...

    Dont turn the game into such a chore for yourself.

    I can't put it in words how incredibly pleasing to the eye this is. For me it just gives that extra bit of reality to the game, even though the gameplay itself is as detached from real-life football as it could be.

    Also, giving players the numbers from 1 to 11, depending on their position in the squad, is also acceptable, don't worry.

    I'm colourblind. The red ball (mainly), the brown ball (in the shadows of the pitch it's invisible), any of the 'blatantly not a bright colour' balls; they're all borderline impossible to see ingame - in isolation I might be able to see the ball if it's not moving and I can focus on it a bit but funnily enough, the ball tends to move a lot in football.

    It's hard enough to defend against people spamming 37 skill moves in a row on the edge of the box - it's even harder when you can't see the ball. If the ball goes high up in the air, there's no chance I'm even seeing it appear on my monitor before my opponent's challenging for possession.

    Just the option to either default to the white ball in 'competitive' game-modes would be nice, or let us use our own ball. The pitch colours are one thing and I can deal with that, but being able to see the ball is a pretty vital thing in football.

    ..and I'm definitely not salty I just lost to someone much worse at me at the game because I saw the ball about twice all game.

    actually no one are using drop back. Maybe it is you who take too much time to bring the ball forwards.

    LW gets the ball > fake shot(on the centre of the pitch) > Step over > heel to heel > pass back to cdm > step over again > pass back to LW > fake shot heel flick > Scoop and turn > pass to ST and by the time you actually reach the box the defensive players already position himself narrow and deep

    "But narrow and deep" is the drop back!!"

    Im not sure about that.. To be honest im not a good player by any means.. but in my experience, this year i never use drop back or less than 4 depth defense.. I always use 4-6 on both defensive depth and width, press on possession loss or heavy touch

    But every time when i faced against possession players who takes 1000 passes to bring the ball forwards, my defense always have time to sit back in the box, my cm always cover just outside the box

    Maybe drop back is not the meta at all, it is just how the game works this year

    Is a Rangers RTTF card too much to ask?

    Went undefeated in and topped a group with Benfica, Lech Poznan, and Standard Liege in it. There's so many cards that have potential to be fun or meta in that team too (Aribo, Kent, Barisic and Roofe to name a few).

    I say this a lot but surely EA have to stop shafting teams from non top 5 leagues eventually. Why can't it be now?
