    Friendly Matchmaking on PC Regional Location is Broken as of at least 1:00 PM EST today

    When searching for friendly matches in either the Silver Lounge or Managerial Masterpiece, I am only finding games with 300-500 ping. When I queue rivals, I instantly got a 28, 40, and 42 ping game. I searched 10-15 times in friendlies with bad ping games. I then turned off the use approximate location matchmaking setting, and after 5 searches of bad games found an opponent that is actually near me, a 22 ping game. The problem is not currently with my internet as far as I am aware. All I can think of is that somehow my "location" has been changed, and the matchmaking thinks that I am located somewhere that I am not, and that somewhere is 300 ping away from my actual location. I usually get 100-150 ping when playing on EU servers for pro clubs from East Coast NA, so I have no idea what is happening right now.

    Edit: appears that this isn't just an east coast NA issue, or a PC issue, is affecting EU players and Console Players.

    I just played one of the most fun rivals matches this month. I went up one goal four times but everytime my opponent adjusted to my change of tactics and went on to score an89th minute winner. I really enjoyed it and would have sent him a message, congratulatingm with a job well done.

    A simple GG or thx for the game message you can select after the match would be such an easy addition to the game!

    Low rated players you never pack

    Finally got my Beckham rare pack and who's stern disapproving face do I see staring back at me? That's right, it's Thomas Strakoshka.

    This isn't the first time Tommy and I have met, indeed it's at least the 4th just in the last month. But this got me thinking. Lazio's big number 1 is rated 83. Isn't the scouse Maldini also 83? And the ever present Ferland Mendy? and even his teammate Valverde? I've never seen these guys once in packs, yet Tommy and I have become firm friends over the few weeks.

    I assume EA weight packs based on demand of player, not just face rating, but does anyone else have any low rated cards they just never see?

    Hi guys, i would like you to meet Diogo Leite.

    Diogo is a 21 year old center back playing at FC PORTO, part of a really good group of youngsters coming through at the club. He started Porto's last 2 champions league games against Manchester City at home and Olympiacos away. In both games he put in a strong performance even being motm against the greeks.

    I think he is a really good shout for the Future Star promo and i hope it does happen. Plus his last name translates to milk, wich i think is nice

    EA is ignoring/allowing cheaters on PC - Will they become a threat for the cross-platform?

    Maybe it's not something really known, as the PC version has way less players compared to the ones on consoles, but it's years that it's common to find (mostly in Drafts) cheaters that can give you a dc (or even crash the game) with a simple click.

    EA some years ago implemented an "anti-cheat system" that does everything, except preventing cheats...
    Basically it just gives you a dc if you do anything outside of FIFA during a match, so even change the song played on Spotify could cause a disconnection.

    The "fun" part is that they don't give you any warning about it, the only way to learn about it is by getting a dc just beacuse you wanted to reply to a message (maybe in the pause at halftime) or, even worse, just because you received a popup, even from the game itself.
    Cheater can go around the problem easily, because (for example) just by using a key-bind activation shouldn't cause any disconnection.

    I really don't know how to send a clear message to EA, it's years that many PC players are asking for a change but the only answer I saw in their forum was "yeah we know it's a bad feelings, but we can't allow cheaters"... Is it even an answer?

    Every year the feeling that the PC version is treated like a "B league" community by EA grows little by little but in the last days I started to think about a bigger problem:

    This game, in a way or another, is going to become cross-platform, maybe not this year, maybe not the next one, we don't know how and when, but I think it's the logical evolution for the FIFA series.
    If this game becomes cross-platform that means that those cheaters that are a pain only for us PC players will become a pain even for the "A league" consoles...

    I think the sooner they fix this problem the better is for everyone in the community, I just hope that EA will finally start to listen to their comunity...

    Ping skyrocketed for anyone else?

    Really as title says guys. I have a wired connection, usually get between 10 - 20 ping. Since I started Fifa today that's jumped to over 170. Just looking for ideas as to what's going on. No issues with my broadband or ISP right now so pretty confused.

    The obsession with using skill moves every 5 seconds really ruins FUT.

    Some people have no idea how frustrating it is to face someone who obsessively spams skill moves everywhere on the pitch, even if you aren't challenging them for the ball...

    They run into your box and ball roll 500 times, perform multiple rainbow flicks, 360s, bridges. And then they run 30 yards out and repeat the same process again until they glitch past your defense. The nerf to the speed boost glitch did absolutely nothing.

    In real life skills are difficult, and cause you to be exhausted pretty quickly. It would be amazing if a game based around football would add a tiny tiny slither of realism and maybe add stamina drain so people cant just spam skill moves.

    It is impossible to defend against when you have any sort of delay or lag.

    Everybody wants to be the next Tekz. What happened to wanting to be a doctor or a fireman, when did we strive to be a wannabe roadman?

    Why are we not given the option to choose the order of our penalty takers?

    Nothing worse than getting to the shootout and finding you have CBs taking the first few penalties.

    Surely this would be a very simple feature (or is that asking for too much?)
