EA Sports FIFA Squad Battles Rewards Megathread

Already made a post on here the other day about this TOTY, but wow... what a disappointment. Overpriced player SBC's. Only league specific upgrades. Not many promo packs/lightning rounds, meaning things are more expensive. 82 rated team for a kit.... anything else i missed? Rubbish. For arguably the biggest promo of the game.

it would be great if instead of watching opponents celebrate when conceding...

you could choose your own animation to watch such as your manager trying to rally your players or even just your own players looking demoralised while your opponent celebrates in the background.

People celebrating right in my face doesn't trigger me at all but it's not normal for players to celebrate right in front of the opposition. It doesn't represent how I feel.

Does anyone remember when Adebayor got charged by the FA for celebrating in front of the Arsenal fans or Van Nistlerooy getting booked for celebrating in front of his opponent?

I get that they removed the dab and shush animations, which is great and all, but I think with FUT they could take this a step further. People can watch their animations if they want, but if they're doing it to taunt you and waste time then they might think twice if it's not something you're directly looking at.

This is just the opinion of someone who skips replays and celebrations to try and save time. I don't even mind having the option to watch the opponent to celebrate, people should still be allowed that. Just another option to see a different angle would be great.

Don’t let this sub make you think TOTYs are really common

This sub is usually full of likeminded hardcore FIFA players, and this last week has made TOTYs seem really common place with all the pulls (and congrats to those guys!).

I just played 30 games of WL (G1 finish) and 15 games of rivals (division 2) and I only came up against TOTY Ramos and Bruno in one of those friendlies, so after about 50 or so games I came into contact with 2.

Has Muller done something to annoy EA?

Has he pulled a Wilf Zaha and slept with someone at EA's Headquarters daughter?

At the beginning of Fifa, Bayern's low ratings after a treble winning season were attributed to EA only using the first half of the season for player ratings because of the impacts of Covid. Stupid, but at least it was an explanation.

But the omission of Thomas Muller from this entire TOTY Promo is very confusing. I won't go into his stats for the year but they are absolutely mental. Yes I understand Bayern got an SBC Boateng card but even then the obvious choice for that is Muller.

Has there ever been a TOTY snub like this before? They've got one more day of the promo to add his card but at this point I'm not holding out much hope..

You should be able to lock duplicates into an SBC without completing the entire squad.

For example, I've packed a duplicate Allison.

I want to use him in the cannavaro SBC but I can't complete the entire squad yet, I should be able to lock him in to that squad & have him removed from my club & then I could add other players as I get them.

Would make grinding these sbcs a lot better.

Fair enough, if you score, I'm not against celebrating. But it's the stupid t-Rex dance, the stop and stare, the Macarena and a few others that really bug me.

They just take way too long... People purposely use that aspect to trigger you and to make you rage.

They removed the dab and the shush because it was toxic.
