    GUIDE: The most effective way to run a FUT21 account for free.

    This is going to be a very detailed and long post providing all the key aspects of running your FUT21 account. These areas will be Trading, League SBC, SBC's in general, Objectives, FUT Champs and Division Rivals. I will not be including Squad Battles unless part of Objectives as I don't play it. Not that you shouldn't, I just personally do not.

    Before I get started, I am not saying this is the "best way" to run your account. I am simply providing a guide from my own experiences on the most efficient way to run your account with the least amount of effort.

    Sorry if my formatting is poor, I'm currently doing this on mobile. I was writing down (yes writing on paper, ok boomer, lol I'm only 25, yes only, you cheeky s***) all the different things I wanted to have done on my account and thought it might help a few of you to run your account in a more efficient way to help eventually get something close to your Ultimate Team.

    Trading!

    Firstly I want to start off by saying that Trading is by far the most effective way to make coins in this game. The market is very predictable once you understand the trends behind it. There's plenty of methods you can use to exploit the market. If you have any time on your hands and you genuinely want to make millions of coins per week you should be trading as much as possible. The best traders use multiple methods at once to maximise their efficiency and their profit. A guideline I like to use to help me out is the following:

    Monday Morning GMT: Invest in fodder from Squad Battle Rewards and flip once at 10% rise or higher (usually takes a day, maybe 2, but can go much higher than 10% if a desirable SBC has dropped, no risk involved as the market naturally creeps up anyway)

    Wednesday Evening GMT: Invest in Meta Golds that are under their current selling price, so I'll use Semedo as an example. Let's say he sells for 5k on Wednesday, buy him for 4.7k or less to cover tax if I need to sell for whatever reason, but usually I'll sell once he rises after rewards on Thursday as people buy him for WL. All meta gold cards rise for WL. They are desirable all year as new players try their shot at WL but don't have the coins for a What If Mbabu, so use the Mendys, Semedos, Walkers and Kantes etc.

    Thursday 6PM-7PM SPECIFICALLY GMT: Marquee Matchups always gives out silver supply to the market, this is the best and most effective hour in the week to make coins. If you have 1M coins you can genuinely make 500K in 1 hour if you buy at the correct time. I suggest marking 25 players' prices at 4-5pm GMT to see what they sell for. An example I'll use is Ruddy the Silver Wolves GK that sells for 7-8k most days due to the League SBC method (more on this later). During 6-7pm GMT he sometimes gets undercut as low at 2K about 15-20 minutes after MM as people with no idea about silver prices pack him and list him up for a few 100 below his cheapest price. This is where you buy. Use the marked silver players you have and buy all the cards less than 40% of his marked price at 4-5pm GMT and simply sell when you are happy with the sell price. They ALWAYS, yes ALWAYS bounce back to the same high price after a few hours or overnight. Don't list all at once and always put yours up for the 2nd cheapest. Someone will buy the cheapest one. Don't worry. If you want a comprehensive list of all the players that sell for stupid amounts, let me know. I don't mind providing a list on another post.

    Friday 6pm GMT: When a promo comes out, again this entices people to buy packs, usually packs containing rare gold cards. The market becomes flooded with fodder and it can be a great time to purchase the fodder. Again a few hours after the packs have been opened, people complete SBC's for their team and fodder prices naturally start to increase. Sell once the price is 10% higher than you paid. Again if you sit on it and gamble a bit, a desirable SBC can come out and the prices can sky rocket.

    Special Card Trading: This is where I make the most money out of any trading method. I usually invest roughly 50% of my coins at any one time in the methods stated above. This is "passive income" where I use the trends of the market to make my coins. But Special Card Trading is where I sit down for an hour or two and really try and make as many coins as I can. This is the most difficult method to use when trading as it requires you to actually put some effort in. There's 2 "filters" I like to use when Special Card trading, the first is 9900 Min Bid, 11,500 Max Bid and 13,250 Min BIN. The second is 10,000 Min Price, 20,000 Max Price and 30,000 Min BIN. You may have to adjust those filters slightly so that you only have 1 card appear over the hour to allow you to compare price and back out to refresh the market to find new cards that have just been listed. No matter what the card, go onto FUTBIN and type in the card and look at the graph on your console and find what the card has been selling for on that day. Reduce the price by 10% and write it down (ok boomer) or put it into a spreadsheet so you can learn the price to buy that specific card at if another one pops up. You will fail so many times and miss so many great deals as you aren't comfortable with the prices yet. This deters 90% of the user base so they just stop. That 10% that carry on going eventually start to remember the prices and start to pick up those great deals that can make you 5-50k a card. The best way to sell is to list them overnight for 5% higher than they sold for on the day you bought them as they rise nicely overnight. But if you want quick coins, you can just sell them for their going price that evening until you are about to go off for the night, and then just list the last batch of specials for 5% more for 6 hours and wake up to even more profit. I made 1M coins from 25k in 12 days just special card trading for 2 hours a night to prove to a friend it was worth it. He now makes millions. The more coins you start with, the easier it is to make even more. That's why I keep around 50% of my coins liquid to do methods like this.

    Icon Trading: Icons fluctuate so much due to always being desirable and the base/mids no longer being in packs so finite supply is available. Primes and PIM's are so hard to pack that these also follow the same fluctuations. They usually rise about 10-20% into WL from their price on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday so are always a safe investment as people buy them for the necessary links for their teams, but they also fluctuate throughout the day. I suggest again ear marking 25 desirable icons and monitor their price every time you have a spare minute whilst on the loo with the companion app or on the bus back home etc. Once you learn their prices you will see when they are low and you just simply buy them when you are happy with the price. A good example is 87 Stoichkov. He was sitting at about 430-450k on Xbox during the WL a few weeks ago. I monitored his price and he never went below 415k at any point during the weekend. I saw on the Tuesday after he was 370k so I bought 4 below 370k when the popped up on the market and I just held them for 3 days. Low and behold on Friday he was 435k again and I sold them all individually making a nice profit. It was easy passive profit. I didn't have much time that week to make any coins on the market so I added some extra coins on my lunch break by understanding the fluctuations on the market.

    There are plenty of other methods like chem style trading, mass biding and others. But these are the main ones I use.

    League SBC!

    Okay, so you've got some methods to help you make coins. What do you want to do with them? You want to use them to buy the best players for your team. Cool. Same. BUT, what if I said you could use those coins to turn into a degenerate gambler and open packs also? Sounds fun? Course it does. You love packs just as much as me.

    If you want to open packs for free as much as someone who spends £1000's of their hard earned cash, strap yourself in, this one's for you.

    The start is the worst part. You see little return for maximum effort. It's boring. Like really boring. But eventually you start to see the fruits of your labour and you think to yourself why you ever even considered buying FP's.

    OPEN. BRONZE. PACKS.

    I suggest doing 40k of bronze packs at a time. That's 100 bronze 400 coin packs. Any more than this and your brain will melt. Send every player to your club that isn't a duplicate and discard pretty much everything else in the pack. Some managers sell, so check those and the odd kit might sell if you're lucky. I choose not to check the kits, 99% don't sell and if one does I'm not checking every single one just for that 1%, proper cba.

    Recycle the non League SBC cards into Bronze Upgrades so you start to get a bank of silvers in the club and recycle the same with gold cards. You honestly need to complete this full cycle starting with 40k of Bronze packs until you have spent about 200-300k on bronze packs.

    Once you have spent that much usually you will then be able to start the League SBC's and your club becomes one big cycle of packs filling up all of the clubs in all of the League SBC's. Start with the CSL/Sudamericana and Saudi League. Complete any team that costs less than 2k to complete by buying their players you don't have from the market. These give you silver packs to help with the MLS/Eredevisie/Pro League etc which give you gold packs to complete the major leagues etc until it all comes into 1 big cycle. You might have to complete the CSL/Saudi etc 2-3 times before you get enough silvers but it genuinely all works out in the end. And as soon as you start to open so many packs whilst spending minimum coins to get them, you eventually start to turn a profit and have unlimited packs for the remainder of the game cycle.

    SBC's in general!

    Throughout your grind in the League SBC you get tradeable and untradeable packs. These usually provide you with enough fodder and random players in your club to complete pretty much any SBC you want without having to spend your liquid coins. MM's and daily puzzle SBC's just become another pack in to the war chest, I always sell my tradeable fodder as it's just extra coins coming back into the account. With the untradeable fodder you get, you can put that into any SBC out at the time. I have completed every PIM SBC already from my account being cyclic. I did the Icon Packs and Player Picks. Any player SBC I wanted all from starting the grind via the League SBC's. They all go hand in hand with each other and just make using players and doing SBC's all part of the fun rather than selling everything I've got in my account for a chance at a good icon.

    Objectives!

    Through the week I tend to usually try and play for objectives as I am a card collector at heart and loved the idea of having a club stacked full of all the special cards on offer. I usually focus on 1 objective per night if I get the chance to switch on my console and I genuinely enjoy using all these different cards. The new championship objective is fun because I already have all the great championship cards like Rooney, King, IF Sarr from League SBC's etc so I usually out team 90% of the player base so it makes it easier and way less stressful. You could use the players as fodder for SBC's also to make them cheaper if you don't like to have all the cards in your club, but like I said it's more of a card collecting game for me.

    FUT Champs and Div Rivals!

    Again, the best way to combat these areas of the game for me is to play out my FUT Champs games until I'm on 14 wins and see where I'm at. Usually I can get 14 wins by about 18-20 games in. If I'm on a good run I might play the full WL but usually I stop at 14 wins for time constraints. I enjoy playing with the team I've grinded for and don't really get overly stressed as the rewards don't really matter as I can get the cards I want in different ways. This allows me to use cards and players I loved watching growing up which just adds to the desire of playing. Couple this along with a few extra division rivals games with a friend in CO-OP during the week and I can usually get some half decent rewards to add to the account. It all just becomes one big weekly cycle and you can honestly upgrade your team with a huge upgrade every week or 2 just by implementing the methods stated above.

    Finally!

    It would be great if any of you have any other methods or little tricks I might have missed that you like to do to help create your Ultimate Team. If you want to add them to the comments I'll reply etc as soon as I've seen the notification.

    I've played 5 games tonight & I have only seen one CB (Varane). Every single person is using a combination of Mbabu, Klaiber, Ederson, Walker etc at CB.

    So boring and frustrating that nobody is using VVD, Nesta or Baresi because Mbabu is the best CB...

    EAGate. What I think EA should do moving forward

    I've been seeing a lot of youtubers and streamers giving their opinions on what this really means, and how it shows the current market is completely unfair to the average consumer. In my opinion, I don't think EA will touch anything with the market in terms of making it easier for people to get certain exclusive players. And while I am completely against the current layout of ultimate team, I see it's their marketing strategy. What I think should be done however is one of two things, or maybe even both.

    1) Make a free to play Draft mode. Obviously you wouldn't be able to win packs or anything but maybe they can add a special kit every week that is only available to obtain by winning the draft. This will give everyone the opportunity to try out new players and just have some actual fun with the game. It's also a win for EA because it could bring more people into FUT giving them essentially more customers.

    2) I don't think they will do this, but if I am initially spending $60 for a game I would like to have access to everything. I feel that by adding All versions of icons to the game outside of FUT would be huge. Giving us the opportunity to add certain young icons to our Career Modes, or even just playing against friends online. I know that this most likely won't happen because at the end of the day they are a business and probably don't care about us, but it would really make the game worth it for me.

    Let me know your thoughts and if there are certain reasons why these things can't happen.

    edit: I am in no way saying that this EAgate stuff should be a hit to EA. They had no choice in this. I'm just saying I feel like the community should use this to push towards a more fair ecosystem, it'll be the only time when we actually have people who do spend thousands of dollars and have no problem with it on our side of the coin. This problem doesn't affect me because i haven't spent money on this game, but if i had spend 3 grand and didn't even have a fraction of PIM Pele i'd be pissed.

    edit2: Also, I wanna make it clear that I'm not trying to start some kind of revolution. It isn't that serious for me. I'm a premed student and use fifa as way to pass time, i've just noticed that my interest in fifa always goes from fut to eventually just career mode or a different game because it just becomes too expensive (money or time) to actually better any team i have. My hopes is that eventually some more people with actual influence (so far i have seen Nepenthez and NICKRTFM) to say something and hopefully turn the tides. Because as long as we keep playing , even if we are mad, there's no reason for EA to change absolutely anything

    Every single year of Draft we've had icons to play with. Last year for player days we even got thrown the whole collection to fiddle with for a week or two.

    This year? 5 baby icons for the last few months that RARELY even pop up to pick, It's hard enough to grind coins for these icons let alone find them on the market. EA should at least let us use them in the draft, I pay for entry. Let me use all the cards in the game. I'm not saying PIM Ronaldo every draft but come on guys...

    We want every card to be unobtainable enough that you spend fifa points, but we don't want every card to be so expensive that there's value in opening packs.

    We want to release overpriced, coin sink sbcs, but if 91 rated cards are 100k then nobody will do them and keep all their high rated fodder.
