| Didn’t realise how much this game affected me mentally. Posted: 11 Mar 2021 06:07 AM PST I didn't realise that FIFA had caused a huge dent in my life to form. I could look around my house and see stuff I need to tidy or put away. But it was always "I'll do it tomorrow" and then sinking back into my chair and losing yet another rivals game. It impacted work, finances, friends and family. I sunk so much money and time into it but in the end it amounted to absolutely nothing. I still have a mediocre team, I still largely suck at the game and in several months it'll be completely irrelevant. I made a concerted effort recently to put the controller down and as of a week later, my head feels clearer, my house is spotless and actually have the motivation and drive to do something with my life. My days don't disappear in what feels like 5 minutes! Sometimes id get on at 9am and then suddenly it's 5pm. I'm just trying to say that, if you relate to anything in my post, please consider walking away for a little while. It really helps! In the end this game isn't worth breaking a controller or slamming your fist on your desk. Edit: grammar. [link] [comments] |

If it's not Varane and Gomez being better then Nesta and Baresi, it's fullbacks with insane pace and playing them out of position with no penalty at all? I've never enjoyed the meta or sweat so I change my team using underrated players, that's my problem if I lose but it's so much more enjoyable until you play a team full of players out of position but it seems like they're all on 10 chem.. The game needs a whole rework from the ground up, next FIFA is make or break for me. [link] [comments] |

I figured 50 games each was a good sample size and made a note each time each keeper conceded/ made a save. Here are the results In save percentage

I'd advise taking these with a pinch of salt as of course play style can vary for people, and also 50 games might not be enough in the grand scheme of things. I did think you all would be interested though. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 11 Mar 2021 06:39 AM PST Don't get me wrong I unlocked almost everyone of them and did the Morgan and Stoppelkamp SBC but I still wish EA would do maybe a silver WL in a non qualifier month or more objectives were you have to use silvers. Posted: 11 Mar 2021 06:47 PM PST I wrote a post not too long ago asking who else only played squad battles as I did not want to play online:https://www.reddit.com/r/FIFA/comments/lb8viv/anyone_else_here_who_plays_only_squad_battles/ I decided to be brave and play some rivals and online friendlies and here is my verdict of each mode: Rivals: I started in Division 8 and my record was not too bad for myself I think 5 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses or something like that and now I am in Division 7. I like the unpredictably of the matches for sure and I try to play with the players I like and not the meta but I do keep Gomez at CB for that security. It is a sweatfest but I am teaching myself to not care if I lose cause I still get points for losing. I do hate the toxic celebrations however. Friendlies: Def my favorite mode and more "friendly" for sure. I only played silver lounge and one league for the objectives but I love most is that the players helping each other out to meet objectives is a very nice feeling. Knowing that the community just want to help each other out is always nice. Overall, I will play rivals and friendly matches just for objectives but I def prefer friendlies over rivals due to the aforementioned "community" feeling. [link] [comments] |
| PUYOL THE SPANISH GOAT (A REVIEW) Posted: 11 Mar 2021 08:32 AM PST ANYONE DEBATING THE SBC LET ME TELL YOU JUST COMPLETE HIM ! Pace 8/10 Puyol has 75 pace and im using a shadow chem style which gives him 85, he feels not too bad in straight lines but his pace means he can be burned by attackers if your pull him out of position. Passing 7.5/10 his passing is nothing crazy but he has acceptable passing, in game it feels better than his stats suggest and he is comfortable at switching the play. Dribbling 8.5/10 first of all this is for a defender he obviously isn't going to be mbappe agile however his agility stats are a complete lie, in game his jockeying and movement is unreal feels way higher, his issue is on the ball he feels clunky but it dosent matter he is a CB Defending 10/10 the best tackler of the ball i have ever used, he has great solid tackles and as soon as the ball is hear him he has the kante magnetic feet trait where he instantly wins the ball, his defensive positioning is incredible always in the right place and makes great ai blocks. Physical 9.5/10 he is insanely strong and aggressive bullying anyone he chooses off the ball, he would easily have a 10 however his jumping and height made me lower this slightly! Overall 9.5/10 if you know how to manually defend he is crazy and will last until tots easily, highly recommended and he has icon links and ITS PUYOL ! [link] [comments] |
